HAPPY NEW YEAR

CHRISTMAS HAS PASSED AND WE ARE WELL ON OUR WAY INTO 2004. I am sure lots of resolutions have been made. I did not make a resolution but I pray this will be one of the greatest years ever for Christians. May it be the year that the funds of the wicked are placed in the hands of the righteous and then may we all use them to the very best of our ability to help enlarge the kingdom of GOD. May our greatest desire be for us to be a soul winner. He says that he will give us the desires of our heart.

Please begin to pray that every group that comes to help us this year will be accompanied by the Holy Spirit in a greater measure that ever before. The Indians need to be set free.

Yesterday Betty found a young lady holding a baby, sitting at the end of my road, where her husband had put her out. Neither of them had on a coat. It was very cold. We sent them to a relatives home but wondered what happened then. Today I have heard request for three young men who are in jail from alcohol and drugs. The mother and father who were visiting asked for prayer. They said that their son did not drink until he went to work on the railroad and got with the wrong crowd. However, I was blessed at the words of faith spoken at Christian Worship Center this morning as Rena and several mothers gave testimonies of seeing all their family saved and in church. May we all stand on the promises as we draw closer to the end times. All of our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will be saved and serving the Lord.

We had a wonderful snow and as I sat by the window looking out, the birds put on quite a show. They were bathing in the ice water taking long baths and playing. I thought of the scripture in Romans 8:22 "For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain …”  They also suffer when there is no rain.

The Hurfeno Area Fellowship of ministers that we belong to has started off good this year. Robert and Betty from our staff are involved. They are helping to bring seven churches together to go through the study of "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. We covet your prayers I this will be a great success and the people will be committed and changed. They will study in their own communities then come together on occasions. We have already been amazed at the interest and corporation.

 THE FRAN ROLAND BUILDING

How I wish I could report the building was moving fast but it is not. You know we are building as funds come in. But they have been slow. Terry Beatty will be bringing our furnaces this month and getting them installed. Ray is trying to get some sheetrock and insulation donated. We are desperately in need of workers to come and help finish putting up the siding and doing little jobs that are not completed. Those of you that come out know how busy our staff stays and to do extra things is almost impossible. But the building is going up. One day soon, I pray, we will not have to turn away children.

There was a fire at The William's Gas Plant at the end of our road and so the Lybrook Elementary School is closed for good until they can relocate and build a new building. They are, thinking of busing the children to Bloomfield or Cuba. This has caused even more parents to come to us wanting to put their child in our school here. We cannot stress enough the need of finishing this building and the need of volunteer teachers or just class room-helpers.

If you or any one you know would like to volunteer for a few months or years we could put you to work. If any Churches have some interns, we have the best "on the job" training place they could ever find. If they can make it here, they will be wonderful missionaries one day.

We need a Math teacher, English teacher, a maintenance man, housekeepers and a cook. We just need willing hard workers. Brian keeps the building going and does so many other things .He, Robert and Paul are a blessing in the pulpit. Marcie and Betty are always busy helping somewhere and trying to keep our office work up. Of course Lynn stays busy everyday in the school. They are a wonderful team working together. Everyone desiring one thing just as Jesus did, to hear the voice of the Father and do it.

Please Keep us in prayer, we really believe this is going to be a very special year for CF AN and all Christians.

In His Great Love,

Lazelle

December 2003 Newsletter

Greetings from CFAN, Lybrook, NM.

Outside it does not look much like Christmas but inside several of our buildings the “Spirit of Giving” is very evident. That is the spirit that gave us the greatest gift ever given. “Our Lord Jesus Christ” When I went over to the buildings where everything had been unloaded and saw the gifts, food, clothing, paper goods and so many things, I was overwhelmed with thanksgiving for all you wonderful people who have that same Spirit living in you.

First Butch, my nephew and his wife Nancy, my sister Bookie and her husband Clifford came out. Butch and Clifford came to work on plumbing. Nancy did most of the cooking and Bookie and I just enjoyed each other. Then Bookie and Clifford blessed me by staying another week. My niece Donna and her husband came to pick them up. We had another very nice visit and a night of singing praises to the Lord. Donna blessed us with some of her good cooking and Van joined her in beautiful singing. They brought a pick-up full of clothes, books and all kind of things.

Our next group was Buddy & Jan Greer, Dennis and Teddy Stewart. The men worked on our building and the ladies cleaned and cooked and as everyone always does. They did what ever was needed to do. They ministered a few times and again we were able to get in another night of praise and worship to the lord. those who come often know how the Navajo lave singing. They brought sweet potatoes, coffee lots of things.

Our next group was my daughter Leah and husband Danny, Grandsons Daniel and Drew, Terry and Betty Beatty, My son Ray and another helper Ed from CFNI. We set a few days aside just to be together and relax. Thanking God for his goodness to us.

At the Dome we had Robert and Betty who had volunteered to take over all responsibilities of the work group that was coming in to help us through Thanksgiving. I don't think they realized what they committed to but they did a marvelous job with the help of the 12 people from Quitman Texas led by Randel and Sue Stringer. Ray had his truck loaded to overflow with all the gifts he had picked up. They unloaded separated and worked and worked. Then they took some clothing and food and visited in homes. They found a family with seven children who needed food and clothing. Because of you all, we were able to meet the needs everywhere they visited. Then we were able to be a part of feeding and supplying lots of clothes to close to 500 Navajo's who met at a chapter house for service. This was put together by the group of ministers we meet with every month from many denominations. Twenty people made professions of faith.

Our friend Brenda who brings the U-hauls filled with clothes brought her truck full and gave them away. Also Aaron and Rachel Dennis were with us. They are helping us to put a short video together. You can see we were wall-to-wall people in our Shalom and Shekinah buildings.

We had many things to thank our Lord for. He is so good.

I was blessed with another Great Grandchild Brody Alexander. The proud parents are Gary and Asley Moreau. Ashley is my Granddaughter, Ray's daughter. I now have 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great. I am blessed.

We give thanks:

We have given away so many things and you will hear us say over and over again. The more we give the more we receive. Our pantries and storerooms stay filled. We can't move it out fast enough. His word is so true.

So many things were accomplished here this month. My roof was patched and lots of needed repair done at Shalom. The siding is almost completed on Fran Roland Bldg. The plumbing is ready for inspection.

We will have the Area Pastors meeting at Shekinah this Sunday. We are expecting God to do some great things through these meetings as the churches come together. We will discuss teaching the “40 days of Purpose” in the surrounding churches. Pray with us that this will come together.

Dec 19th is the day of our Christmas programs and you still have time to get your packages in the mail if they were not picked up.

We will start our Christmas Caroling on the 21st and hope to help with programs in at least three churches.

We are rejoicing with Paul and Lynn they were blessed with the moneys to purchase their much needed washer and dryer for their home. They had a great but short trip to visit some of their children and their church.

Bryan, Marcey, Caleb and Joshua also had a great visit to churches and family to show their beautiful new baby and visit loved ones. They were blessed with many things on their trip.

We are glad to have them all back home in NM.

Robert and Betty have brought much to our ministry. It is so good to see all of our staff working together as one body.

We covet your prayers. There is and enemy at work a1ways against us all, but we have seen the victories of our God and we stand upon his word and His promises to never leave or forsake us. Re wil1 bring us through every tria1 and bring us out on top. lf we obey Rim and keep our faith and trust in HIM. Pray for peace and forgiveness with the families of those who were in the accident.

Pray that Jesus will be recognized as Messiah, Saviour by the Navajo through the gifts and love shown to them this Holiday Season. May they not be excited about the gifts but about the Giver. For The Lord Jesus Christ will be giving through all of you to them.

God Bless You, and Thank You, for staying with us through thick and thin. You never let us down.

May The Lord be the center of your Holiday's. May your heart and mind be stayed on HIM. Let Him give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for your mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. He has come to bring these good tidings to you to set you free from anything that has you bound. Receive from HIM. He has everything we need. Then pass it on.

We love you and pray the greatest of Holidays be yours as we all Thank God for sending Jesus.

                        CELEBRATE HIS BIRTHDAY

In His Spirit

Love

November 2003 Newsletter

 Dear Saints,

Here we are again, it is October the 22, I almost feel like I'm in Louisiana. The weather is gorgeous here, our doors are open and it is more like spring than fall.

Some of our staff has taken the school children for a field trip in the mountains.

Robert & Betty O'Maker have joined our staff. When he preaches he reminds me of Rhinehart Bunkie. We are so blessed to have them.

Visitors and ministers to CFAN during the month of October.

From Colorado: Bringing Clothes, Glory Be & her friend Pat Shriver & Sandra

From Michigan: The "Electrolytes". A father, three brothers and a grandson, Henry, Dan, Kevin, Philip and Peter Lanning carne to pull all of the electrical wires for the dorm. The electrical inspector gave us a good report.

From DalIas: Ray, Terry and Betty Beatty, Philip and Sonya brought the iron balcony & stairs for the dorm. They all worked hard to put them up.

From Albuquerque: Rachel and Aaron Dennis

We were blessed with H. J. and Beverly Poole for two months.

The Corbellos, Bob and Marsha carne for a month from Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Alexandria, La. We were praying for them to come back to stay.

We celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles this month. Wow, people carne from everywhere. The true word of God was brought forth through many anointed teachings and the music was heavenly. Jan & Buyck McGowan joined us from Texas. Thirteen musicians and some intercessors joined us from South Dakota. A pastor from Canada and also a blind man from the Lakota Sioux Tribe who is in his 70's joined us for the feast. This blind man testified that his father was saved at the age of 8. I thought of what they must have gone throughgh to be Christians at that time.

Many Navajos ministered in music and The Word. A Jewish man named Israel who is originally from Mexico City surprised us. He came with Larry Hamm and the group from Dallas. He brought just the right Jewish flavor or fragrance to the Feast.

Brian Whatley, Robert O'Maker, Bob Corbello, Rena Todacheene, Deborah Charley and so many others from here brought good teachings. A lady in Aztec gave us two sheep. Larry and Rena Todacheene and their family along with several from Christian Worship Center butchered, cooked and served mutton all day. When we spoke of the help God had sent, Lynn said, "This year it was so perfect. God sent real helpers." They worked together and though there is a lot to do because the workers were so together and willing everything went beautifully. God even sent us a couple to work with the children. I had so hoped and prayed for someone Jewish to be here and for someone to work with the children. God sent them both.

Our meetings, the Feast and our Christmas party, are growing in number. We wonder what the next one will be like.

We heard so many positive remarks such as, "I want to make this an annual thing for us." When our students did their sign songs, mothers from South Dakota carne to me saying, "I want to send my children to this school. What do I have to do?" I said, "Pray that we can soon get our building finished and have good Dorm Parents." I look forward to the day we can say, "Whosoever will let him come." Others said, "I have never felt so much love. I have never been in a meeting like this."

We stand in need of your help for funds and workers. We know God has begun this and will finish it. As we pray, we ask you to agree with us that who ever He speaks to will give in obedience. The key word here is PRAY            ,

From Brian Whatley

We encourage you to continue to pray for our new building. We have made tremendous progress this summer and this fall all by the work of the Lord. However we feel like God does not want us to be reserved or relaxed at this point of the project. He wants us to press an. Everything that has been done to this point is to God's Glory and by his hand. So many parts of the vision that Gad has given us here, hinges on the availability of The Fran Roland Building. God wants us to put "feet" to our prayers so to  speak and by His help complete this building! He will provide funds. He will provide material. He will provide workers.

We thank God for all of you. You do so many things for God and this ministry. I can not put it all on paper.

God Bess

We Love You

October 2003 Newletter

Dear Saints,

As I drove into Farmington and saw the Colorado Mountains all covered in snow, I knew it would soon be time to get out our winter coats. The Navajo's are busy cutting and storing wood for the coming season.

There is another season coming, are we ready? Jesus is-coming and I believe before that great day, we will have a revival of revivals. I don't want to miss it.

I am enjoying being a schoolteacher. Ha! We have 3 boys that come over to my house and do their schooling. Today we have four. Lynn's classroom is full. So I volunteered my front room. When I did this, we had a teacher. She has not been very dependable, so I am the teacher most of the time. I thank all of you for your prayers. Just this week God has sent us two teachers; neither has come to stay a long period of time. So pray with me if they are the ones that God is calling, they will hear his voice and be with us a long time. We really want our children to graduate knowing what they are studying and go to college prepared to meet the challenge.

Regular visitors who have recently been out to help us. What blessing they are.
One of our Board Members Jan McGowan from Abundant Life in Atlanta, TX. She always comes with encouraging words and good teaching.

Other Board Members Al & Delores Paas have visited twice this month

H J and Beverly Poole are such a blessing. This year Beverly gets the brownie points for holding the rattlesnake the longest period of time. Now she had the rattlesnake under her shovel, but way after it was dead we were saying Beverly you can relax now. I think she was frozen in this bent over position.

Other Visitors:

"I am Able Ministry" from Louisiana who brought school supplies to the Navajo children. We were blessed to meet them and have a place for them to stay as they distributed school supplies to a lot of the churches around us. I've just heard they are buying bunk bed's for our bunk house. God is wonderful.

Brandon, Gwen, Bethany and Josiah Whatley. This is Brian's brother and family visiting from Israel where they have been serving as Missionaries for six years. They minister with David and Karen Davis at Mt. Carmel Assembly in Haifa, Israel. Brandon has accompanied Karen Davis on some of her recent recordings. We were blessed by their presence and their families beautiful music ministry. Brian's mother, Audrey Whatley, after much persuasion boarded an airplane and came along for the visit.

Marcie's sister in law, Mary Crawford and son Jared, are with us for a short time. We are all so excited about this new baby that is due any day.

I have just received word that Trevor and Jessica Hendershot, this is my granddaughter, have blessed me with another great grandchild. Praise the Lord!

Our Dear Bro Allen Todacheene went to be with tbe Lord. We buried him September 24. He has been ill for quite sometime. His funeral was as lovely as Ms Alice's was. Only there was so few tears just joy in the Lord. He had lived such a beautiful Christian life and most of the family, being Christians, had peace. They knew where their Dad had gone. Two of the son's and their wives came over to visit after the funeral. They seemed relaxed at ease and visited a long time. Pray this peace stays with them. This will be a great testimony to the many who are lost.

The plan of salvation and the eternity awaiting both the saved and the lost was made so plain as Brian brought the message.

Yesterday Rena called and said the family wanted to come visit and have fellowship and bring Bro Allen's wife Lula for us to pray with. We cooked a big pot of Spaghetti and reminisced over the past 20 years.

They finished the auditorium at Christian worship center and the church was lovely for Allen's home going.

The Feast of Tabernacles is Oct 17th and 18th we are expecting a lot of people this year. Pray that we have a mighty move of God.

Prayers answered

Ray has a dryer for Marcie and Brian, he will bring it as he comes

We have teachers, Bob and Marsha Corbello from Louisiana volunteering their time here for a month. We wish that they would stay with us.

Lynn has school going beautifully

Terry has and electrician coming from Michigan to do our wiring.

We have received several testimonies of answered prayer as we prayed with you over your request. Thank you for the many birthday cards and gifts.

Pray for the Lady's who were in the bus accident. Some of them have not returned to our Tuesday night service.

We have not because we ask not. So I am asking for help, please. Let’s finish the Fran Roland Building. We are in need of some extra large gifts and offerings at this time. Materials are expensive. God has sent us and is sending many volunteer workers. They are experts in their field, but we have to have the material for them to work with. They fly in and drive in and pay their own expenses. All together we are building a house for the Lords work.

Our needs are Electrical Supplies; Brian just told me the cost will be around $4000.00. We thought we were looking at two thousand. NM laws are different and to pass inspection we have to use what they tell us to use. We still need plumbing, sheetrock and supplies for the commercial kitchen. I'm guessing to finish the building will take at least $40.000.00 more dollars. I will send true estimates real soon.

How we thank our faithful sponsors and pray God's storehouse of blessings abundantly and on purpose fall as heavy rain on you and all yours.

We pray blessings on all receiving our mail.

Remember God loves you and we do too.

SEPTEMBER 2003 NEWSLETTER

Dear Special People,

Thanks be to God who fashioned us in His image. We are pearls of a great price.

In March when we returned from South Dakota the Lord gave this scripture to me. I want to share it since He seems to have laid it on my heart again. 2nd Corinthians 2:14,15 “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. For we are to God the Aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.” I really felt like the ministry from our Navajos and those who met us in South Dakota was a sweet aroma of Jesus himself. We found again such a hunger for a move of God among the Lakota people. We could see that a few of the men had done their homework. They were filled with the word of God and His promises and were expecting a special visit from Jesus. They seemed to appreciate our teachings and have invited us to come back. The Navajos are so excited and ready to return.

As I watched our Navajos minister so beautifully doing two Bible Schools a day and then participating in service at night, my thoughts went to all of you.

Many have came out and taught them. Others have given to this ministry or came and labored hard with us. None is more important than the other. Every one of you are precious pearls and sweet smelling savor to our God. Thank you for being a part of all we do.

Rena and Deborah are so excited and ready to return to South Dakota. They want to begin right now preparing for next year. We will need your help as we gather things to take out for our VBS. This year we did not have to buy hardly any crafts. Thanks to so many of you who have given us all of your crafts that you did not use when you came here to have VBS.

Many thanks to those who came to help us all the way to South Dakota -Ray Powell, Danny Bedgood, Lankford and Mary Alice Moore, these are all some of our wonderful Board Members. Then we had Victor and Angela Martin from Arkansas. From our Navajos, there was Rena and Michelle Todacheene, Wallace, Deborah, Wanda, and Alison Charley.

The first week of August, thirty special people came from Virginia. Bro. Marchand and Bro. David Kanagy brought several to minister, teach VBS, sing and work on various projects. Some worked hard on our Fran Roland building and on some Navajo houses. Then others did a VBS at the Nageezi Chapter House. Some of you know that we used to go there and then the children became so rough and unmanageable that we had to cancel our Bible Schools at that location. So it was really good for us to go back and have a good attendance without many problems from our children. I wish that I could tell you all the things they did. The beauticians gave us haircuts and the cooks worked hard keeping everyone fed. They brought a Pastor and some of his congregation from another church in Virginia, Bro. Clyde and Wanda Plum. Wanda put together such neat crafts for each class. They were all a great blessing to us and to our Navajos.

50 million affected in northeast and beyond as power grid fails.

When I saw this, I read it like this to those around me: “TRANSPORTATION: Many wait it out wondering what has happened. Buses have stopped running, airplanes are crashing; pilots, drivers, many people have disappeared. SCENES: Moms in labor in cars, people trapped in elevators, frightened and screaming, cars stuck in car washes. IMPACT: Offices closed, workers frantic to get home and see if their loved ones are still there or among the missing, ATMs idle, cell phones jammed.” Some could see these headlines soon.

What really happened?

I do not think you will hear it on the news, but let me give you Hal Lindsey's report that I believe is truth. He read from a broadcast made by Ben Laden to his people. This is the jest of the message. Bin Laden told how he had this done, the person that did it and that it cost him only seven thousand dollars to have it done. It cost the U.S. ten million dollars. He stated that his plans are to cripple the economy of the U.S. He also said that he would die as a martyr and hoped it would be in the belly of the eagle speaking of America,

People are dying from the heat. There is sodomy in the church. Our government is removing the Ten Commandments, WILL IT BE OUR BIBLE NEXT?

Jesus will come like a thief in the night, there will be no announcement of his coming. No one will have time to make himself ready. We must stay ready and keep our lamps filled with oil. Today is the day of salvation. If you read this letter and have not received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, do so today. Just ask HIM in your heart. He is standing knocking and longing to come in.

It is so sweet to trust in Jesus,

We certainly have to trust in Him as we begin another school year. With people coming everyday asking when the building will be finished and if we have room for one more student, we have to turn them all down. We ask for prayer that we will get the funds we need to complete this project. We also need teachers and house parents. We need those that will love our Navajo and that will share our vision and work as one with us. Then pray also that a steady group of workers will come to finish the work on our dorm and classroom swiftly. We are looking for a New Mexico electrician to cover us and let our people do the work.

Lynn will have to start off the school year all by herself. We miss Ute, but we know that God has the perfect person to take her place in the classroom. We have helpers, but not the one we need in the classroom with Lynn. She is doing a great job with these children. Our parent's night was very good with most of the parents attending.

We really need some sponsors for our students. Several of them have an outstanding balance from the last school year. It is very hard to get any money from the Navajo, even the small tuition amount that we charge. If you would like to sponsor a child the cost is $325.00 a year.

How we thank you all who have been so faithful with your support. School has started and I know it has been hard for some to send anything. Please keep us in prayer for all of our expenses to be met on time. We have the added expense of nearly $400.00 a month for the trailer. We have mailed the $6,700.00 (that was designated for the trailer) to be placed toward the $27,000.00 still owed on it.

We still need to purchase the electrical supplies, the balance of the plumbing supplies, the insulation and sheetrock. Please pray with us for these funds to come in.

Thank God that when the Virginia group came, they were able to finish putting all the windows and doors in and begin to put the siding on. We should have all our siding up soon as well as the stairs leading to the dorm rooms. Terry Beatty is working on our stairs. He and Ray will be coming out soon to put those up. Praise The Lord! God is so good.

Christmas is just around the comer; we pray that you will help us to gather paper goods, canned goods, toys and gifts for the Navajo. We will have our Christmas party on December 16 this year. If you need additional information or if you need someone to pick up items that you have gathered, you may contact Christ For All Nations at 505-568-4470, Ray Powell at 214-438-2950, Buddy and Jan Greer at 318-6404578 or Buyck and Jan McGowan at 903-846-2506.

Good News from Lybrook NM

What a price some pay to come here to minister. I was speaking with a minister who moved a beautiful trailer onto some of the BLM land by a church. Some of the church members wanted him to move and they gave him about three days to move his trailer. He is still working in the area, but is now commuting from Aztec. We are so thankful

God has placed us on private land and given us favor.

Mary Alice Moore brought her group of troupers from Nashville, Arkansas. They took VBS to the Navajo both morning and evening. We had some of our largest groups, there ,were many men, women and children.. Praise the Lord. Friday morning, the last day of-Bible-School, Mary Alice received a call from her-husband. He said that a tornado had hit their house taking the whole front porch. Her husband Lankford was in the bed. Praise God he was safe and the house is repairable. Mary Alice stood so strong wanting her last day at both Bible Schools to be special in the lifting up of Jesus. She asked that we not talk about the tornado in order to keep the children's minds on Jesus. Now we are seeing fruits for their labors.

This Sunday morning one of the women brought her husband. Brian had a good message to the Fathers about being a Godly Father and husband. This man came up and talked to Brian confessing his faults and desire to be that Godly man. Several women who had attended the Bible school were there with their children. We had a great service. God is moving. Rena has prayed years for her family and now Larry is giving testimony of how he wants to do more in

the church. One of their sons now plays the guitar and drums in service. Michelle helps in Sunday School with the children. Never stop praying and believing. Prayer and faith go together. If we can be faithful in our obedience to the Lord, he will be more than faithful to us. We cannot look at what we see but believe what the word of God says.

Activation Ministries led by David and Dee Dee Thompson turned Johnson's church around. They had a powerful revival. Twenty nine prayer warrior's in all, two ladies stayed in the prayer room and prayed around 5 hours a day while the others visited and invited everyone to church.. They ministered at the Chapter Houses had revival at night and some worked on the building.

This is the first year we have had two teams at the same time working in different areas. It was awesome to see them go out in different directions and cover such a large area of our Navajo people. Each team lifting the other one up. At the church, a man was healed and took the brace off of his leg. He jumped up and down and lay down and cried and cried. Others confessed to witchcraft, and peyote. A medicine man went forward to pray a prayer of repentance. Many were saved. We are expecting great things to happen in this church. Some of the people from this church are now coming to our meetings here at CFAN.

One of the dear ladies in the bus accident came to the Tuesday night service and said, "I called you and you were gone". She had wanted me to be at her wedding. She called while I was in Louisana. She is in her 70's and her husband is in a nursing home. They were married in the nursing home. Then she wanted me to go to the nursing home and talk to him. She wanted to be sure he was saved. Melinda and I went to visit him and he accepted the Lord and prayed a prayer of repentance. Praise the Lord. God can always take evil and use it for good. We continue to rejoice over all the things God is doing around Lybrook NM. She was a Christian but had not been living for the Lord. She had been going places like the squaw dances and different Native American meetings that were not Christian.

Marlene was beside herself with joy, giving God all the praise and glory. She said her son always tells her, “Mom you know Satan does not want that ministry here and that is why that happened.” She loves her pastor and wants to start working with the youth in her church. God is so good. Her son has been in our school for at least two years. He would not go anywhere else; he only wanted to come here to school. They have been very harassed by the Mormons, but have stood strong in their belief Please keep Marlene and Erick, her son, in your prayers.

We have not, because we ask not. Then sometimes before we even ask, God sends the answer. I called some friends in Arkansas, the Littles. Bro. Lee Little had worked on the roof of our Dome a long time ago, and now we needed someone to come fix a leak. I called them one day and his wife says, "Let me talk to Lee." Well, she calls back the next day and says it just so happens that they can be here in a day or two. They were going to California to visit family and this would be right on their way. They came one evening, fixed the roof and left the next morning.

I have never seen anything like what the Lord is doing today. I don't care what anyone says; there are a lot of people in this world that have not lost their first love. So many of them come here just because they love the Lord and want to serve him with all their heart.

Our sweet Jessie, who served us for two years, came back, brought his girl friend and worked during their vacation time. They accomplished many difficult things like cleaning our carpet. All those spider webs no one could get to, Jessie and Tammy got to them and many other things.

It is so good to have people here with our vision. God is doing more and more things because of our unity. Brian is a never-ending miracle helping with so many things. Marcie, Lynn and every one works together so beautifully. We also have good reports from Paul and his church in Cuba.

We covet your prayers as we take the word of God to the Lakota Indians Aug 11th through the 16th. We will be taking several Navajo's again to minister in that area.

This week we are expecting another victory as our people from Virginia return to hold the last VBS for this summer. They will be in our next month's letter.

I know many who receive my newsletter are devout Christians. This is not for you. Many more receive it that are searching for truth or maybe have lost their way and need to come back to the Father. Please pray that the words I have carefully chosen from God's word in the Old Testament, which is a looking glass for us to look into and heed His words and His will, will awaken those who may be asleep spiritually. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

I felt drawn to put a little sermon in my newsletter as I read my devotion this morning. I am reading through the Amplified Bible this year and with so many people doing their own thing when they know to do right, my heart breaks. Then I think how God's heart must break.

His words in Isaiah 56.6

“Also the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord, to minister to Him, and to love the name of the Lord and to be His servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it and holds fast My covenant (by conscientious obedience) He says even the foreigners he will save anyone who repents and sees their need of a Savior and receives Him. His arms are always outstretched to save.

7. All these I will bring to my Holy Mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted on My Altar, for my House shall be called a house of prayer.

Our offerings today are praise and adoration to our God.

Isaiah 57:11

Of whom have you been afraid and in dread that you lied and were treacherous and did not seriously remember me, did not even give me a thought? Have I not been silent, even for a long time and so you do not fear me.”

We are to have a reverent fear for our God. He alone will make the final judgment He alone can destroy both the soul and the body in hell.

Have you been living in sin? Are you one of God's children and have forgotten him? Today is the day of salvation. His loving arms are always outstretched to forgive and bring you back to him. Don't be like this dear lady who had to almost face death before she realized, “I don't want to die in these sins separated from Jesus forever”. She wanted to make sure she was going to heaven and her husband was going too.

The desires for alcohol, drugs, riches, (idols), your own fleshly desires and pleasures need to be put under the blood. Don't be caught in one of the traps of satan. One of his greatest ones today is prescription drugs. The doctors will say you are under stress or depressed and give a pill. Soon the pill dulls your senses and a little alcohol or even worldly pleasures satisfy for only a little while, but the empty place that only Jesus can fill comes back again and again. There is never peace, joy, contentment and true happiness until Jesus is Lord in your life and you are assured of a good life here on earth and then forever with Him.

I have received letters from some who say my home is falling apart. Jesus is the only answer for broken homes and relationships. Without Him being Lord in your life you do not have a home. You live in a house. He is love and His love and presence makes for a lovely home and life. There are only two great powers in this world and we must choose which will rule our lives. If we are not living and serving the Lord, then the devil is our master. Lets all determine to lift up the standard of Jesus in our life.

I was so proud of the Boy Scouts leader. He took another great stand for righteousness although it may cost him millions of dollars, he is holding up the standard of righteousness. Homosexuals are living in sin and if they die in that sin they cannot enter heaven, and they need to know that. We need to pray their spiritual eyes will be opened to truth and not condone their behavior. Amen

We are excited about our new building and covet your prayers that it will be finished soon. There is much to do. It will take lots of money and lots of men willing to work, but we must keep in mind our God is Lord of everything. He owns the cattle of all the hills and all the hills they roam on. Isn't it wonderful to be one of His children?

Keep all of us in your prayers this is such a busy time at Lybrook.

We need extra strength. It's awfully hot and with no coolers in our buildings we get drained by 1pm. Thank God we revive again in the evenings and are ready to go.

We need the wisdom and knowledge of God, continued favor with the people. God has given a wonderful staff, but we need more.

We visited Ute, she found out the reason she was always so tired and felt run down. She has something wrong with her heart. The doctor told her to take an aspirin a day and it should take care of it. Remember her in prayer.

We have so much news for June we will have to catch up in our next newsletter. God Bless you all.

We send our love and many thanks for all you do.

June 2003 Newsletter

 Dear Saints,

We have really experienced the body of Christ working together this summer at CFAN. A large group of men brought together by Terry Beatty came from many different places. They were like the workers that Nehemiah spoke of when they rebuilt the Temple. When the trusses were delivered we saw a couple of miracles. How God gave Terry favor and he saved us a couple of thousand dollars on the machinery used to hoist them in position. Then when a very complicated situation arose as to how to get some of them in the highest part of the building, God showed him just how to do it. Some of their wives labored in the kitchen, keeping wonderful meals cooked and served. From the two teams we had a policeman, a nurse, a nursing assistant, some wives and children, a plumber, a librarian, two contractors, who knew what they were doing (ha) and two much older men labored daily from sun up to sun down on the Fran Roland Building. Fran's widow, Mary Ann accompanied this group, it was a very special time for her to see where her husband left the earth for his heavenly home. She was blessed and a blessing to us as she continued to praise the Lord and speak of how this is where Fran would have wanted to be. Somewhere serving the Lord. A Navajo minister said to Mary Ann; unless a grain of wheat fall into the ground and die, it cannot produce fruit. We know he is producing fruit today in Lybrook and many other places through his life lived for Jesus on this earth.

Jackie Jacobson and her lovely group were here at the same time. Jackie was our main speaker at Christian Worship Center for the ladies meeting. We chose the theme "Reflections". It was beautiful to see how the Holy Spirit directed each speaker to share on being led by the Spirit, Taking off the Old and putting on the New. Then God moved on hearts as they ministered in Churches. Many came forward in repentance. I was glad that Jackie noticed the growth in some of our Navajo's. I am daily seeing this and praising God. They brought lovely baskets filled with all kind of good things to our people and to our staff. I understand a special group of ladies from lookout Mt Church put these together for us. We are so thankful for what everybody does and especially for all your prayers.

God must smile when His children serve him so sacrificially leaving their homes, jobs, giving up their vacations and fun times to serve Him. It is a joy and so satisfying. (Taste and see that the Lord is good.)

Our Lord surely knows everything, what we need, whom we need, and when we need it. Buddy and Jan Greer came for a visit and to help us. Buddy made bookshelves for the children's room. They brought with them one of my great grandchildren, Jacob Powell. Their daughter is married to my grandson.

Jan is the one who has been getting the quilts quilted for our bunkhouse. She brought these beautiful quilts. Jan went to several churches and gathered many ladies to quilt these quilts.

They arrived on Saturday then on Monday, I received a call that my sister was in intensive care in a La. hospital. Because they were here and my wonderful staff was here. I knew I could go home knowing everything was in good hands. I caught the first plane. Thank God my sister is better but she is back in the hospital for tests. The Dr's have not been able to find where the severe pain is coming from. Please keep her in prayer. (Lenora Baker)

Lynn is working with our children in summer school. We are so thankful our students are getting excited about school and want to graduate. For a while some of them just wanted to quit. Every ones prayers make a big difference. That includes yours, as we all pray for these children. They all want to work and there are no jobs. Every time we can, we have them do something around here to give them a few dollars.

We are standing on The Promises of God concerning the bus accident. The lawyers are sending us letters saying the insurance is not paying enough. These complaints are coming from family members that are not saved and know nothing of our ministry. Other Navajo's tell us they just have $ signs in their eyes. The precious ones that were on the bus don't want this. Please pray that God will intervene and bring confusion to every plan satan has made against CFAN. Pray that God will give us favor. He will protect this mission, it belongs to Him. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Pray protection for all the groups as they come to work on our building and all the summer Missionaries.

I look at things and sometimes think I could throw up my hands and quit, but all I keep hearing from God is "occupy till I come". We are working harder than ever and believing something greater than we can imagine must be in the plan of God for this place or the enemy would not attack us so much.

Greater is he that is within us than all the demons.

Prayer Requests

Please keep us all in prayer. Lazelle, Paul, Lynn, Brian, Marcie, Caleb, Dorothy and Melinda. God has given us a great team.

Paul continues to teach at Christian Worship Center. He was fined a little for the accident but over all he was certainly blessed. We are praising God for the outcome of his trial.

We love you and are so grateful for your faithful support and prayers. God is moving among the Navajo and you are a great part of His awesome works.

In His great love.

May 2003 Newsletter

To all of our Wonderful Friends and Supporters.

How Great our God is! He is doing so many things across the whole world and here in Lybrook.

Our schoolchildren have been so sweet. Three of the younger ones brought devotion one morning and touched the heart of the teachers. The next morning at our prayer time, we read the same scriptures our children had read. Luke 12:27 Consider the lilies…..

Sars and the economy, peoples hearts failing them for fear. People with so many problems. "Do Not Worry" I believe this is one of the messages God has for us today. With all of the things that are going on in the world today, God says "Trust in me and do not worry." In Iraq, the doors are being opened and the Gospel is now going in. Here we see how God takes evil and brings good.

Isn't God good Everything is moving so fast. As one minister said "General Patton would be shocked at how fast our soldiers went through those streets to victory." It was because of the millions of Praying Christians and our secret weapon "God". Let us lift up the name of Jesus and share him fast and furious while we can He is coming soon to take his bride away.

VISITORS LAST MONTH

Eighteen fourth and fifth graders and nine adults from Evergreen Academy in Colorado blessed us and lots of Navajos with their presence. They ministered here and at the Lybrook Public School reading to the children. They also brought paper goods and school supplies for our academy.

Terry Beatty and Warren Calkin from Dallas were joined by Louis Boyd, Gene Bearden and Boyce Whatley from Atlanta to work on the Fran Roland Building. You would have to see it to believe how much they have accomplished.  (Above Photo)

Delores and Bro. Al Paas brought a couple from England, Derrick and Margaret and Dee Alei from Bosque Farms. They also blessed the ministry with many needed items and ministered to our students.

UPDATES

The ladies in the accident are all recovering. None of the children were hurt bad.

Continue to keep Paul and Lynn in your prayers as their court date is the end of June.

Praise the Lord! Brian and Marcie are going home for a short time, but they are coming back to work with us this summer.

Dorthy stays busy teaching our Navajo and she is “trying to keep the peace between the white man and the Indian”, her daughter says. She is a blessing to all of us.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Mary Steele will be coming to join our staff from CFNI in Dallas.

All the funds and everything we need will be here for the workers as they come to work on the Fran Roland Building.

$6,900 has come in on the double wide mobile home. We will apply this to the $29,000.00 note. Pray that we can keep up the $395.00 monthly note.

The Lord will guide us in our choices and all places to minister. As we finalize our VBS and summer outreach groups locations and last minute details. Pray for a great harvest.

We need a real good maintenance, janitor, jack-of-all trades man. One without an agenda of his own, who just wants to serve the Lord.

Pray for Marvin, he will be leaving us to go live by his sister. Many of you know he has been ill for some time. Now that he has developed diabetes and is taking insulin, he needs lots of care that we are not equipped to give him.

THANK YOU

Thank all of you again for all the clothes and food and every thing you all brought and sent to us.

Thank you for your gifts and offerings to the Fran Roland Building and for all of you who have worked on the building.

In His Love

April Newsletter

 Dear Friends,

It is good to be home although I'm not even unpacked, we've been busy.

I had plans to spend two more weeks in Arkansas working on my book. The Lord had other plans.

Paul was taking our Navajo people home on our bus when they had a terrible accident. One lady died as a result of her injuries. Five other ladies were bruised badly and one has a fractured rib. All ten children are fine with just a few scratches and bruises. It is a miracle all were not killed. The bus was completely destroyed. Paul's hand was crushed and he underwent surgery to wire the bones back in place. Thank you for your prayers, pray that we have peace and no lawsuits.

The family of Alice Castillo, our precious lady who went to be with the Lord has been so precious. They said "Mother loved you so much. She loved going to church at

CF AN and we want you to preach her funeral." They asked our people to sing and plan the program. They put up a tent and the place was packed. She was loved and honored by many. It rained, snowed, and the wind blew like crazy causing a sand storm. In spite of all of this, everything went we ll. She had a lovely funeral. One lady said "I have never been to a funeral like that, it was all Jesus." And it was... Jesus was lifted up, magnified, and glorified because we all knew where Mrs. Alice was.

Early Monday morning, I was called to the DZ Navajo Public School. There were children praying uncontrollably and the teachers and administrators did not know what to do with them. Of course I went, calmed the children down and prayed with them and I had a great opportunity to witness for our Lord and Savior. My thoughts were how the word says "Little children shall lead them."

Please, please pray with us as we make all of our summer plans. We know that none of us has much longer to work for our Lord here on this earth. Let us make every day count.

Thanks so much to all of the men from Virginia and Texas who came to work on the Fran Roland Building. It was wonderful to see the foundation finished and the slab poured. And the beautiful new face lift that the dome kitchen has.

So many people blessed me and the CF AN ministry while I was away. I could never name then all, so I will say thank you. You know who you are and Jesus knows who you are!

 CFAN NEEDS

Jack and Ute Bishop have been with us for six years. Ute is a teacher at the academy, leads the song service and teaches children's church. They will be leaving the ministry in May when school is out.

Joanna helps with the academy children, teaches children's bible classes and helps with other various jobs. She will also be leaving the ministry in May when school is out to return to Poland.

Please pray for all of our staff and their families. Also pray that as these leave this ministry, others will come and fill the need here.

Thank you to all who have made special contributions for the purchase of the trailer. We have still not reached our goal, but we know that the Lord will provide.

Thank you to all who have made special contributions for the Fran Roland Building. We have groups scheduled throughout the summer for the construction of this building.

In His Great and Blessed Name

MARCH 2003 NEWSLETTER

  Wednesday, March 19,2003

 Dear friends;

I am in beautiful Arkansas, Trying to concentrate on my book. My mind is not always easy to harness. I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about. Most of us have so many things going on in our life. Our computer gets a little overloaded. As long as it is for the furtherance of the kingdom of God I guess it is all right."

Please keep us in prayer at this time. My staff does a wonderful job when I am away. They have such good help now with Brian and Marcie. Marcie will be sending out our Thank You notes for a couple of months. I call almost everyday and hear good reports of good things going on. They are redistributing clothing, food and teaching the word. Rena is flying to Dallas to meet and drive with me to South Dakota. We leave in the morning. Deborah and her family are also going. We will meet with ministers from several different tribes. I've mentioned the concern the Navajo have over some of the traditional things being brought into the church. Since these are strong concerns of the Navajo's I work with, they become my concern also.

I attended a meeting of Navajo Ministers before I left and was excited about what they are doing. Generally, they will not speak up, afraid of loosing family or friends. These Christians have come to meet under the banner of our Lord. They are trying to get laws repealed, these laws encourage only the teaching of their old traditional Navajo religion. The medicine man and the Navajo religion (Peyote, Pow-wow's, worshiping creation, etc.) have no restrictions on anything they do or where they do it. But the Navajo government wants to place all kinds of restrictions on the Christian Church. Praise God they are raising their voices on behalf of a wonderful cause. They were concerned that the Christian Navajo be taught the word of God to be able to discern between religion and Christianity.

 March 18

Rena and I arrived back in Dallas. Our trip to South Carolina was great. The Lord truly made us a path. The weather was perfect. Travel was easy with very little traffic. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape as we traveled through different States and observed the cattle on a thousand hills. When we reached Rosebud reservation things began to change. The ponds and lakes were ice. Poverty surrounded us. It was so different from the Navajo reservation. Rena went home thanking God for where she lives. The Lakota's live in villages 25 to 30 miles apart and nothing in between. Hardly anyone has a job because the distance to a town is so far and the town is so small there is nothing for them. However we had some wonderful meetings even breaking ice in a pond to baptize a Lakota Indian who said he wanted to repent and come back to the Lord and wanted to be baptized. Eight or nine ministers came with some of their people from as far as Nebraska. Then we had a Lakota Evangelist from Canada and Sitting Bull' s grandson "Bill Running Bear" came to share and greet us. They had wonderful testimonies of their salvation and their desire for their people to come to know The Lord and His word. They often move back and forth from Jesus to their old religion. As we traveled from village to village they were very careful to not take us into most areas because of their strong religious beliefs. We saw so many little children that had never heard of a Vacation Bible School. Pray we will be able to go back many times and teach these children. Our prayer for the Navajo to become ministers to their people may soon be a reality. We hope to return in August with some of them, taking food, clothing and most of all The Word of God.

 How I covet your prayers.

First for our Country. When you receive this letter things may have changed drastically in our land. Our prayers can make a difference in everything that happens around us.

Lets keep our families and loved ones covered with the blood of Jesus. As is said: build an ark of prayer and bring them into it. ...

Pray for our Staff and Academy, for all the summer groups as they prepare to come out.

Pray this will be the year of great harvest for our Lord. The Sunday before I left Lybrook. A beautiful young Navajo lady came forward in tears. She said, “I want Jesus as my Savior and I want my whole family saved.” I took one of my granddaughters to church with me and she was so touched by the spirit of God she said I've never felt The Holy Spirit like I feel him right now. This young mother will never be the same. There were several of the Lakota Indians who gave their heart to Jesus in our meetings. We must occupy til Jesus comes.

Terry Beatty, Ray Powell, Danny Bedgood and Anatole (one of the Siberian Seven) just returned from CFAN in Lybrook NM. They made the form and now all is ready for David Karnegy and his group of men from Virginia who will arrive March 22 to lay our foundation. Praise the Lord.

Thank every one who has been so gracious and helpful to me on this journey.

How we thank you for your prayers and faithful support. Together we will make a difference. We love you and Thank you over and over again.

Thank you Church at Jordan Ferry for the memorial gift in honor of Burnell Webb.

Thank you Aline Tam for the memorial gift in honor of Danny Roshto.

February 2003 Newsletter

Dear Friends,

First thing we would like to ask everyone who receives this letter is to join us on March 3rd as we join many ministries and individuals in fasting and prayer all around the world. As we hear everyday war is imminent.

Our prayers can make a difference in what happens after the war and even during the war. Just as we love to hear from our children, God loves to hear from us. Let us Pray!

God does answer prayer

How long have we prayed for help. Our lovely family Brian, Marcie and Caleb have arrived. They are young, ambitious, in love with Jesus and a blessing. They have committed to three months and may stay longer if we pray. They come to us from Abundant Life Church in Atlanta, Tx. Marcie is in the office and Brian is on top of the house repairing Shalom's shingles with Marvin's help. We had a terrible wind storm.

The bar that was a few miles from us is permanently closed.

The casino that is close to us that was to open several years ago is still unoccupied due to legal matters. God is answering many prayers.

 The Navajo Nation

Now we need much prayer concerning the Navajo Christians, the new Navajo President, and the Navajo Nation.

I spent most of this past Saturday in a meeting with Navajo Pastors and Christian Leaders. At least one hundred and fifty had gathered to discuss issues before them that will affect all Christians and Christian Churches among the Navajo.

The Navajo’s have formed agencies across the Nation to assist one another and to serve as watchdogs for issues that surface from The Navajo Nation Council, the office of President or federal/state levels.

Their # 1 plan is to strategize events to enhance Christian faith/growth and win souls to Jesus through the ministries, evangelism, intercessory prayers and other activities based on the Scriptural teachings of the aggressive five -fold ministry of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. This was taken from a new monthy Christian Newsletter being sent out by the Navajo Christians. Praise The Lord!

They are trying to repeal a law that has just been passed that states, as they say, only favors two religions. # 1 The Native American Church, which is not Christian. It has all the Pow-wow stuff and all kinds of sun and buffalo dances, etc. And #2 The medicine man.

As these brave ones come forth to fight for their freedom, I am so reminded of the children of Israel being brought out from great bondage. Our God can do it again with the Navajo. Let us pray.

We need to pray that God will intervene on behalf of our school and the need we will have when Ute and Jack leave us. Even if our new couple stays, we will still need others. Continue to pray that God will send us just the right workers. He knows more than we know and exactly whom we need.

Workers will be coming soon to work on The Fran Roland Building. We need it finished as soon as possible.

Pray for our wonderful staff. Who has one like it? They are all so special. Please keep me in your prayers as I will be traveling some and hopefully will be able to spend some time in prayer and working on my book.

How we love and appreciate all of you. May this be the very best year of your life. May Jesus be the very center of it.

January 2003

Praise the Lord!

Dear Friends

One thing I can tell you for sure this New Year 2003 has come in so fast I have not caught up with it. I know in my spirit it is going to be wonderful for the Christian even if bad times come on us.

Yesterday some Navajo’s visited me. In our conversation the word prosperity was mentioned. I quickly responded with this answer. “This is the kind of prosperity I am referring to.” Then I told of the miracle that happened here at our Christmas Service. We had prepared as usual for one hundred people. We had gifts, bags of fruit. Candies, nuts and had ready one hundred plates of food. I told my staff he prepared if more should come to move quickly and see what we can find to add to what we have. Most of us were planning to leave for vacations and we did not need a lot of leftovers so I had bought with this in mind. Thank God, He knows everything and will take care of it if we trust and let Him. A Christian School in Albuquerque was coming on the same day to bring gifts and have a party with our children. They went buy Wal-Mart to buy their food and were they ever blessed. Upon hearing they were coming to bless the Navajo’s Wal-Mart gave them lots and lots of food and drinks for their party. There was so much food left over and of course we used it all when our little Polish girl counted one hundred and seventy people in our Dome that evening. Everyone went home blessed and full. Yes! I believe this is the year all who are looking for Him will see Him in miraculous ways. Wow! What prosperity.  Many people have long looked to man to supply their needs and their wants. The Navajo’s may have this mind set due to their trying to survive..

Some real good scriptures for us to keep in mind this year:

Phil: 4:19 But my God shill supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. What a promise!

Proverbs 30:8, 9 Remove far from me vanity and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me. Lest I be full and Deny thee, and say, who is the Lord? Or lest I be poor, and steal and take the name of my God in vain.

Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness and cares of this life, and so that day come upon up you unawares. 36 Watch ye therefore and pray always that you my be counted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the some of man.

We must keep the prayer lines hot to heaven.

Rena Todacheene is a mighty woman of prayer. She is always interceding for her children. Some of you know of her miracle concerning her daughter last year. How God directed them to this child when she had been taken to another state by a 20 year old man she had barely met. This same man has just gone to prison for entering a motel in Farmington, shooting and kill a couple he became angry with. What if this mother had not prayed?

In our morning prayers you can hear a new commitment to God and even to the work at CFAN.

Our Prayer request:

That we hear from God so clearly. His will be done at Christ For All Nations. His plan and His purpose alone.

Alila Vito a Indian lady in India that we support. She has a large Bible College placing pastors through out India.

Our Navajo Churches would have pastors who bring only the truth from Gods Word.

Our license ministers, that we have trained, for their continued growth in the wisdom and knowledge of our Lord and that many doors of opportunity will open to them for ministry.

This year we would be privileged to license Navajo men. They would bow their knees before God and surrender all to him.

Our staff,  Blessings and wisdom, they are all doing such a tremendous work for our Lord. Much of it goes unnoticed by human eyes but not by God’s.

My son Ray as he travels a lot working both at CFNI and on our behalf.

Lorenzo Williams as we began through him to work with Indians on the Rosebud reservation in South Dakota.

The President of the USA and Men and women in service.

The President of the Navajo Nation.

Pray for mercy on America because of all the sin and rebellion against Almighty God. With out His mercy America is headed for bad troubles.

Israel that may blessed.

Brian & Marcey they should be here any day now and stay for at least three months. Pray they will become permanent.

You will notice I have asked you to pray a lot. But I feel this is the only answer for our world today. We must pray before things happen don’t wait to late. So many people have major problems but our God has every answer. War is coming whether it be in February, March or in fifteen years. The Bible is going to be fulfilled. Lets not worry to much about when Jesus is coming lets just be ready and about His business, it could be today.

Thank You

Now I want to thank everyone for all the things you did throughout 2002. You have made it possible for us to share the love and ministry of Jesus Christ to so many people. When they come to our door for help it is always open because of you. Old and young are beginning to have hope. Not only the Navajo but our staff is well cared for. Our bills are paid and many days like today we are able to bless someone. Today it was Valerie on her way to Albuquerque to the hospital with a heart problem as I handed her some money she wrapped her arms around me and said I just want to cry.

Your gifts, money, cards, prayers and love made 2002 a glorious year for us and the Navajo people.

You and I are thanked when we hear things like Larry Todacheene who said he wants to start a Christian band. This would get our youth evolved doing something good for the Lord. He is already working on it.

We love you and we are in your debt to serve God.

December 2002

 CHRISTMAS WITH THE NAVAJO

AT

CHRIST FOR ALL NATIONS

When everyone gathers for our Christmas Service. There is excitement in the air.

The Children all smiles and of course our adult Navajo’s are like children and they are as excited as anyone to receive a small gift under the tree.

How I thank those that have given. Ray brought lots of gifts and we have been separating and getting ready for our big day. Last year we had plenty for everyone but the ladies. When we ran out. We were going throughout the rooms looking for any thing we could give them. This year pray we have plenty for everyone.

We will start our Caroling this Tuesday night and then have a couple other days

later. Our big service will be on the twentieth. Pray with us these gifts will be received in the name of Jesus and they will see not just the gift but The Christ whose birthday we celebrate and the reason we give the gift. That our love for them as His love for us will be seen.

It is very cold but the days are lovely with the warm sun.

We had a special visit from a Lakota Indian from South Dakota. He was interesting and invited us up to minister to his people. The way he describes the Locate reservation is really bad. They do not have bars they drink Lysol and things that completely destroys their mind fast. They smell paint and mix all kinds of terrible things to get a fix. But this man came out from all that and is a strong Christian wanting to reach his nation for the Lord.

I am pleased about many things I am hearing concerning the Indians.

Jay Swallow A Southern Cheyenne powerful leader n the Native Church

was directed by the Lord to take Native American leaders from over 20 tribes representing nine linguistic groups on a prayer journey to Plymouth Rock in Massachusetts on September 27,2002. Native leaders expressed deep gratitude for the word of God, repented for resistance to the Gospel and then welcomed King Jesus into the land to take his place and fill the land with his glorious presence.

The Mayor of the city said; we need to continually praise and offer thanksgiving to God for answering this prayer.

Joe and Jerry Begay some of our old friends from Chinle came and ministered at the Dome. They were ministering here in this area when I first came here. they are always welcomed back by the Indians. They are Indians.

Our students again were the perfect little host and hostesses as they cooked and served their parents for a big Thanksgiving Dinner.

Ray and Ed brought lots of canned goods and filled our little house with clothing and food. I was able to have my son for one day. At least he had Thanksgiving Dinner with us. For that I am Thankful. We had staff and Indians going in every direction delivering food and turkeys. A mission in Farmington gave 128 turkeys to us. What a joy to share so many blessings.

I took some of our students to the TV station and they did signs to the song. I Can Only Imagine. The people were touched, as they always are when they minister.

We are seeing spiritual growth in several of our students. One of the young men reads his Bible all the time.

I am praising God for answering prayer. A young couple will be coming out the first of the year to stay for three months. I am praying I can take this time to do a little visiting in churches spend some much needed time with my family and love some on my grandchildren. Then, I want to get alone with the Lord, fast a little and pray a lot and work on my book.

Pray with me that everything goes well. Pray for the couple Brian and Marcey Whatley and their son Caleb. They are very special.

All the staff is well and everyone busy. God has been blessing in so many ways. The surrounding churches seem to be more at peace. We really covet your prayers.

The ladies prayer group from Farmington has been a blessing they volunteer lots of days to come help us. I can tell a difference in everything around since they fill the prayer room with prayers once a month.

The students have always desired someone to come teach them music. God sent the best I think. They teach drum, piano, flute and guitar.

We are continually praising God for His goodness and mercy toward us all.

Special Thanks to all who helped gather food clothing and Christmas Gifts

for the Churches and every individual who gave. Thank’s to my son Ray & to Ed who brought the heavy load and worked and traveled a long distance. May God reward you all  for your work. He will do that.

God Bless you all May you have the greatest Christmas ever.

News From CFAN

Wow! I can’t believe another month has passed.

In fact another year has passed and it is hard to imagine we are 55 days away from Christmas.

Our thoughts go toward all the things we have to gather and get ready for in order to have a special Christmas here in Lybrook, NM. It is rewarding and fulfilling but also lot of preparation and hard work.

My son Ray will be coming through and area close to some of you. He will be picking up Christmas items and others things you may want to send our way. If you have never helped us at this time and you would like to you can call Ray at his home in Dallas his # is 1/214/438/2948. He will give you a pick up place close to you. We are thankful to all who help every year what a blessing to give gifts to those who would have nothing unless we share with them.

We will also be purchasing candy, nuts, fruits a ham or turkey to go with the can goods we will receive if you would rather help with moneys for these. We appreciate everything

We hope to start early with our trips to the reservation. We are always busy at the last minute with our programs and hay ride. If you are mailing things please send them first part of December.

I made a fast trip to Arkansas to take a Navajo Evangelist. Some of you know him. Jerry Domingo. He preached at New Life in Nashville. He brought a real good message I think he surprised himself.  He always said he was nervous when one white person was in his tent.

There he was in front of a whole church filled with white people and he preached with great

confidence, the word of God. He is ready to go back. and stay a while with Bro. Lankford and Mary Alice.  My daughter Leah met us on the road and had lunch with us. Ray came to Ark and spent the night with me thanks to John and Sue’s hospitality. It is hard to get that close La. and not see my children.

I’m thankful I can tell you God is answering prayer with our students. They were rebellious when school first started. We are seeing a change in attitudes and know it is a result of prayer, and the love shown them.

Ute is back from Germany. She brought a good report of the grace and mercy of God to her family and friends during the time of his illness and death. All of them are at peace knowing he awaits them in heaven.

We miss Beverly and HJ Poole. They were with us three month and were a blessing. She spoiled us all with her good cooking.

Visitor this month. Gloria Greenstreet, Canon City Colorado came with a vanload of clothing.

As we try to understand the delay in our building. God speaks so clear to me saying “don’t you know I know what is going on? All I would have to do is speak a word and it would be finished.”

It is in his hands and I am at peace with that. I think of how Daniel’s prayers were hindered for so many days. I know there is spiritual warfare going on in the heavenlies concerning Christ for All Nations work among the Indian people. It took a long time to break through everything and finish the Dome. Now it is used in many different ways for our Lords work.

A special called prayer meeting was held at President Begay’s last Friday. It was a powerful meeting. I was so glad to be a part of it.

He said after the election “win or loose he was going to be a spokesmen for the Lord to his people.” a lady who teaches Bible every morning on the radio was there and he made a commitment to go on her program, read the word of God and sing gospel music.

So many people are praying for the Native Americans to come to Jesus. We know our prayers will be heard in the heaven and God will answer. Don’t ever give up on loved ones are anything

God has given a promise for. Hold fast. He delights in doing the impossible.

The United States

The Navajo Nation and all the Nations of the world.

Jesus said: It is not my will that any should perish but that all should come to the saving  knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We understand the cry in the hearts of those in other nations as we pray with Ute for Germany and Joanna for Poland and many visitors from other nations who find their way here to this remote area. God has a special plan for this place and this location.

Pray for unity in the body of Christ. That those who have a vision from God and are implementing it be encouraged.

We love you, pray for you and are so thankful to know you pray for us. May you be encouraged today to walk closer with Him than ever before.

Dear Friends,

My how I wish I could sit down, visit and converse with all of you. Wars and rumors of wars are no stranger in the Navajo Nation. Praise God for victory. We are victorious in Jesus. He is our Victory.

The children of Israel crossed over into the land of the giants. Their battles continued. As long as they obeyed God and looked only to Him as their deliverer they did fine. That is our prayer above all things. We trust God alone and Obey Him and seek His guidance.

I had and e-mail from a friend. It was a prophetic word telling how the enemy was doing everything he can to slow down the work of the Lord or to abort it. For sure we see him doing that here at Christ For All Nations. This makes us more determined to fight for every promise God has given us. The salvation of our children, grandchildren all our seed he has promised that everywhere the sole of our feet has tread He will give it to us. We are standing for this Navajo Nation. We know the devil wants to wear out the saints. Be aware of this. We need to stand strong against this enemy of the CROSS. Many of you are going through things in your life today. You don't understand why. We must keep in mind the devil is our enemy not the man next door, not your husband, not your wife, not your family, not your staff. It is the devil.

Praise to the Lord! We had a wonderful testimony service. One of our Navajo's told of how things kept happening in her family. She began to ask what she might have in her house that could cause that. Her husband had been a medicine man for years and she had some very expensive crystals she had not wanted to part with. After much prayer and soul searching she knew the right thing to do was to crush these things to pieces. She did just that.

Another lady’s family was having a squaw dance. They have big family meetings to prepare for these events. She is the only Christian in the family. When they ask each individual what they would bring to help her brother have this dance and raise funds for a need he had. She kept her head down silently praying they would not ask her to bring anything. Praise the Lord they did not ask her. She said she left crying because all her family would be having a good time and she would be the only one left out. Then she said she thought of the words of Jesus and knew there was no way she could take part in that. She said; what would He think of me! My Lord and My Saviour. Yes! The Bible says we have to forsake all and pick up our cross and follow Him. It is not easy when it is your family you love so much. One day because of her stand her family will most likely come to Jesus. If we join them in their sin it is like we put a stamp of approval saying it's O.K. With God sin is never O.K.

The Feast of Tabernacles, My how great a meeting we had. People came from Albuquerque, Farmington, Texas, Louisiana, from near and far. The glory of God came down. Our speakers were all anointed and had a message for the hour.

God sent us lots of help. They worked hard cooking cleaning, repairing, serving, preaching, teaching, and singing, doing office work. My what talent and willingness to serve.

Some of our guest were. Jan and Buyck McGowan, Bryan, Marcy, Caleb, Rick, Debbie, their lovely children all from Abundant Life in Atlanta, Tx. Our Feast would never have been so wonderful without this group of dedicated people.

Brother John Newton and wife Anita from Ark. They are originally from South Africa.

Our Jewish brother from Albuquerque Dennis Otero with several of his friends

Other visitors this month included my sister and brother in law Clifford and Lenora Baker, their son Butch and wife Nancy. Butch and Clifford are the plumbers that came to plumb our Fran Roland Building Thank you Jesus.

We had a surprise visit from Brother Lee Hill and his mother Puma Hill from Harvest Time Assembly in Murfreesboro, Ark. Bro Lee's brother from Albuquerque was with them.

H.J. Poole and Beverly will be leaving us the end of this month. I don't know what we are going to do. They have been so much help. We miss Al and Delores and the many things they helped us with. Please continue to pray for them both.

Each month now God brings ladies from different churches in Farmington to pray in our prayer room. We have a class, then intercessory prayer. This is an answer to many years of prayer. Some of these lovely ladies brought their husbands and joined us for the Feast.

We were given the sheep to butcher this year by a friend of one of the intercessors. It was fat and delicious. The Navajo's always enjoy butchering the sheep and having all the intestines and head to eat. We do not ask them to share that part with us. Ha.

I can't express the great need we have for prayer .

1.        For our staff to be undivided on the vision God has given.

2.        For God to send laborers into the harvest. He is answering this prayer. We have another lady who has joined us from Farmington, Karen Campbell She is helping be a dorm parent. Dorothy and her work together.

3.         The veil to be lifted from the Navajo people.

4.        I gave the wrong date for the Navajo election it is next month. Please continue to pray that Kelsey Begay go back into office. The Navajo's say if the other man goes in he will not let any more Christian churches be built on the reservation.

5.        Don't stop praying for the building. We are stuck again until the NM plumber comes and does something and then the inspector comes. We have foundation workers waiting to come but our hands are tied till the plumber here does something.

6.        Pray, Pray, Pray for our students. Most of them come from very dysfunctional families. We have rules they have to abide by. It is hard when you have never been disciplined. We have 21 children each day and 6 that home school under us.

Lynn is doing a marvelous job. Paul continues to do his teachings in the churches Marvin keeping up most of the maintenance Ute will be in Germany till the end of this month. Her Father is holding on. She is having a very good visit. She was able to take him for a short walk in the sun this week. We thank all who sent money to buy her ticket. She received enough to pay all the ticket and she had a little left over. I'm sure she will send a thank you as soon as she arrives back in the states.

7.        Please keep my family all my seven children their spouses, my fourteen grandchildren their spouses and all my great grandchildren in prayer.

We always want to testify of the good things God does. He knew Ute would be gone and he sent Yoonani. She has been such a blessing helping in the school.

8.         Please keep our students in prayer. Several of the girls made professions of faith in tears of repentance. Pray they will stay strong.

We are so thankful to God for the decisions that have been made both by Navajo and white this month to follow Jesus. Pray that many more souls will soon be saved snatched out of the devils hands before it is to late.

Thank You for your Memorial Gifts For The Fran Roland Bldg:

 CFAN ACADEMY NEWS

Praise the Lord: Our building is going up.

The picture above is Terry Beatty and Francis Roland (Fran) laying our block.  Some of you might put this picture on your desk or refrigerator to remember and keep Mary Ann and the Roland Family in prayer.

This summer when Buddy and Jan Greer came to CFAN.  Buddy reached in his pocket and took out a rock.  He told us when he had left the time before his thoughts were I need to keep this ministry in prayer.  He knew he would forget without a reminder.  He then reached down and picked up that rock and it had been in his pocket every since that day as a reminder to pray for us.

Wow! that touched my heart and I knew it was and is because of the many prayers that go up everyday on our behalf that has kept us going, protected us and blessed us.

We have 19 children in our classroom and several home schoolers

The Shekinah Dome was filled with parents and students as they came to orientation & registration.  We turned away several children.  There was no room (In The INN).  Our quiver is full.  I mentioned that I felt like, the old lady in the shoe who had so many children she did not know what to do.  We are praying everyday for live-in parents or at least a live-in Mother to these children.  We have 6 living here.  Joanna, Dorothy and I are staying in the Dome at night to be close to them.  Beverly and H.J. Poole are a great help to us.  She will be leaving the end of Oct.  We are trying to persuade them to stay.

We are blessed to have Johanna from Poland (the country Poland not Poland La.) ha; she thinks it is funny when people think she is from Poland, La.  She is very sweet and talented and a lot of help.  She has come for one year.

PRAISE TO OUR LORD

Ute is recovering from her surgery and her Dr. was pleased with how well she is doing.  Thank you for your prayers. for her.

Thank you for the prayers for my son Martin (Bo) he is recovering, but is gaining his strength slowly.

Please keep him in prayer.  I think all he went through before the surgery took something out of his body.

It now needs to be replenished.

Thank you for praying for my son Tim and wife Lisa.  God has opened a door of opportunity for a job.  He is starting his own business in Pineville, La on highway 28.  You in Louisiana may visit him at The Meineke Muffler Shop.

OUR NEW BUILDING

We are expecting my nephew Butch Baker from La. next week to do our plumbing.  Praise God!  We have also had a good word that Bro David from Va. is getting some men together to come out and pour our slab.  Please pray we get this done soon and whatever else we need to get it to a place we can work on it through the winter months.

Thank You

Michelle our latest graduate started to College.  Her first night in the Dorm her roommate came up and began to talk about the god she served and the power he gave her.  Michelle reached down and picked up her Bible and told her she received her power from this God.  Pray for these children and adults.

Last night a couple came to use our phone. The lady professes Christianity her husband is in strong Peyote religion.  She held on to me so tight and said please pray for me.  They have such a hard time living their faith because of persecution. from their families and peers.

Our prayer room was filled with prayers Tuesday as our lovely group of ladies came from several churches in Farmington. to join us in prayer.  God is so good.

Please pray for:

All of our Staff.

Jack, Ute, Paul Lynn, Dorthy, Marvin, Joanna, Ray and myself.

My granddaughter Sophia Barton needs a touch from the Lord.. She was born premature and is developing very slowly in parts of her body. We are believing God for complete healing.

Our plans are being made for the Feast of Tabernacles Oct. 4, 5 and revival at Nageezi Church beginning on the 6th.Please pray. The Nageezi Church could be a giant for the Lord. but there is so much strife among the families.  We are praying for this revival to make a difference. They have many children in that area that will be lost if these parents do not learn the love of God for each other.  There church sits empty most of the time because of conflicts.

Thank all of you for your cards, letters, gifts and words of encouragement on my birthday.

You’re all so precious and I love you.

August 19, 2002

Dear Friends,

Today is very sad at CFAN. Just when things seem to be going well, tragedy strikes. One of our beloved brothers from CFNI was working on our building when all of a sudden he sat down. Those around him noticed something was wrong. We called 911 but before they arrived he had already gone to be with the Lord.

When I saw the pain in these men who had worked so long with him back in Dallas.  My first thoughts were I want to stop the building and never think of it again. My son began to talk about how Satan has fought the building and this ministry from the beginning. Soon my thoughts were right again and I knew this would be just what the devil would want us to do to give up and quit. We can never do that. After the coroner came and his body was taken away?

I saw these men led by Terry Beatty, (my son Ray Powell, Ed, and John Day) go back to the job they were doing and finish what they had come to do. Lay the blocks. Through their tears we all knew those blocks were being laid for Fran Roland. He was 64 years old and was to have a big retirement. It was already planned by the maintenance department at CFNI.  On the 4th of Oct he would have reached the age to draw his first Social Security check. Instead of a departing party Fran is having a coming home party a welcoming to his eternal home and rewards that were awaiting him.  He is really beginning to live now.

Our real life begins when we leave this shell which is filled with aches, pains and disappointments and go to live with Jesus forever.

Now we must all work together to finish this building so that Fran's death will not be in vain.  We have turned numbers of students away this term because we do not have room for one more.  There is so much yet to be done and one less saint of God to accomplish it.

We are so thankful for Fran's wonderful family. They comforted us at the funeral. All of their words were positive. They knew Fran is in heaven, and he was doing what God wanted when he was called home. He was on the mission field laying blocks working for the Lord. They told us many things he had done recently. It was as if he knew he was getting ready to depart this life. He made preparations.

Lets all examine ourselves and be sure we are making preparations. That day will come suddenly to many as it did to Fran. It was as if he went and sat down and his spirit left his body. No pain, no struggle but complete peace. The only struggle was all the workers around him trying to bring him back to life no one wanted to let him go.

Our Summer Missionaries

We are so thankful for those who come and see our need and catch our vision and leave saying, “We will be back next year.” So many times we tell everyone this is what the Navajo needs, familiar faces those who return year after year. This makes a big statement to the Navajo of your love for them.

River of Life Church from Demming NM

With the youth leader Manuel,' What a youth leader!  The youth he brought had come out of everything in their own lives, and was here bringing Jesus to the Navajo. They were a light in a very dark area on the reservation with their music and ministry.  They held VBS and revival under the tent at Bro. Johnson's Church, which is down the road behind us.

Buyck and Jan McGowan and a couple from their church Bryan, Marcy and son Caleb.  We saw a powerful young preacher coming on through Bryan.  It is always a blessing to have Buyck and Jan with us.

Marcus Crooked Creek Baptist Church.

Pastor Jay Holt and Jeff with a host of God's Saint's came all the way from Berry Kentucky. They were willing to serve in any way.  They ministered at Kimbeto Valley Brethren in Christ Church with Stanley and Janette Adway. We averaged 45 to 50 attending each day. They all worked around the mission at CFAN and ministered through their lovely music and preaching and teaching the Word.

New Life in Jesus Nashville Ark.

God always sends Mary Alice Moore and her wonderful team at the exact perfect time. She moves in with a profound wisdom and a very busy schedule. We held VBS at Christian Worship Center and Nageezii Church of God. Lots of decisions were made for Christ.  Daughter Corey returned after seven years to find she had not been forgotten by Nageezii people.  All of the Moore children are family to that area and to those at Christian Worship Center. The team worked together to make their week here very special for us and for the Navajo.

Bro. Mike Robertson brought our first Mennonites. They came all the way from Virginia. What a lovely group of Christians. He also brought a group from Louisiana young men and women fired up for Jesus. They met here and you would have thought they knew each other and had worked together for years. They just teamed up and went to work.

The men did construction here at the mission and at two churches. They all taught and worked. The women held two days of VBS at Nageezii Chapter House. We had not held a Bible School there in many years because the youth were so bad the last time. The Bible School went real well. The children were good. The women helped with many needed things here at the mission. Linda with the Virginia group cut most of the staffs hair, including many Navajo's and mine.

H.J. and Beverly Poole came along with Bro Mike. What a blessing they always are to CFAN and to our Navajo people. She has done so much and just been such a blessing. I'm already telling her she can't go home. H.J loves to do what he can and just watch the birds while looking for a deer.

Ray, my son has brought several groups of men from Christ For All Nations. They have worked on our building and other churches. Christian Worship Center being one. There is so much to do and so few people to do it. Thank you to all the maintenance crew who has come. They not only work they ministered in Word and music and did so many other things.

Terry Beatty a very special person has brought friends and workers this summer. He oversees our new building and is a Godsend to many people as he travels in and out of the states serving the Lord.

How we thank God He has all these men helping us.

What a wonderful summer.  We are looking forward to next year with all these powerful teams. Without their faithfulness to pray and come we could not be here. They bring such light, hope and truth. Most have promised to return next year. Praise the Lord.

Thank all of you for making this summer special!

Thank you for the food, clothing and so many gifts you brought the Navajo and us.

Lets work hard together for the Harvest soon will come.

July 2002 Newsletter

Here it is June 26, 2002, in the April newsletter if you recall we said we could not remember when we last had rain.  Believe it or not we are still at the same place.  No rain, fires all around us, and the smoke gets really bad.  One Navajo came over and borrowed a fan.  She said they could not sleep for the smoke.  We are not complaining. when we see all those precious people burned out of their homes not knowing what to do and all the other things that are going on all over the world.  We stand thanking God continually for his many, many blessings and covering and mercy being extended toward us.

We sometimes feel so unworthy and guilty almost, for having so much and being spared from the horrors that are here and all over the world.  Our prayer is no matter what happens we will stand strong.  We will all watch therefore, and pray always that we may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man. (Luke 21: 36)

Praise God for all he is doing through you wonderful people

here in Lybrook NM

Ps.  72:11: Yes All Kings shall fall down before Him All NATIONS shall serve Him

We are all a part of fulfilling these prophetic words.

 MINISTRY REPORT:

 Foursquare Church Duncanville, TX

They arrived the first week in June.  This is Paul and Lynn's church.  Justin Walker, the youth leader and several youth came to help The Euerle's move into their lovely new home.  Their ministry blessed us while they were here and they completed the moving of Paul and Lynn.

Lookout Mountain Community Church, Golden Co.

All arrived with a large U-Haul trailer full to running over with appliances, beautiful baskets of all kinds of goodies, clothing, towels, care packages, so much wonderful food.  We have never been so blessed. we are still passing out many things and will be for a few months.  The foods were much in variety, things we could never afford to buy and give out.  Then miracles do happen.  I had mentioned to the team our need of a little construction.  I was thinking they would do mostly ministry and not much work.  Was I ever surprised!  Stan Jackson and David Thompson. looked at or building spot where Marvin had been digging alone.  The next thing I knew these men were on the phone ordering materials, concrete, rebar… They had Jack using the back hoe and almost everybody from the youngest to the oldest in those big holes laying forms. Praise God the report David gave was it was a real miracle.  There is no way they could have physically done the things they did.  They all said it was like a supernatural power empowered them.  David is a contractor he builds all the time and he said it would normally have taken a crew of people who were experienced in this kind of work several days longer to do what they did.  Isn't God something?  This tells me He wants us to build this building and He will receive all the Glory.

They did not slack up on their ministry.  All day some were covering the reservation giving out food and clothing.  Others sorting clothes and people coming here and being blessed with a huge clothing store and appliances some brand new outside the Dome all free.  We had never seen anything quite like this. Each night they ministered in a tent meeting.  Then on Friday to the park in Farmington, some of our Navajo's cooked fry bread and made Navajo tacos and we served food all day and ministered to everyone that came by. Some even went from door to door witnessing, meeting people's needs and inviting them to come and eat.  Thank You to Mrs. Cynthia Zelhner for a new washer and dryer.  Jackie Jacobson, Dee Dee, Activation, all the youth and Roscoe all blessed us with the word and testimonies.

Many professions of faith in God were made.

 My Son Ray:

As if all of this was not enough Ray brings another big trailer filled with lots of canned foods clothing, paper goods.  We have been asking churches to come get things and give to their congregation.  How wonderful it is to give and see God's word is so true.  He has opened up the windows of heaven and is pouring out blessings so many they are hard to contain.  The more we give the more He gives back to us.  Thank all of you who sent things by Ray.

Esler Baptist:

Buddy and Jan Greer with grandson Marshal and Dennis and Teddy Stewart VBS at the Kimbeto Area

The Navajo and we always receive them with such thanksgiving.  They have been adopted into the Sells Family (Navajo) Jan brought wonderful teaching on creation.  We had a large group of adults and children.  Mrs. Teddy ended up taking the children class outside.  Buddy brought the evening services and Dennis and Marshall kept us supplied with snacks.  There were several decisions for salvation.  Thank God for all you wonderful people that bring the truth of God's word to our people.  You bring them hope and a few days of pleasure.

 Alpine Baptist

Steve Maltimpi with wife Joy and their four children accompanied by Bonnie and eight other youth,

We saw the Holy Spirit touch some of the youth that came in such a way I don't think they can ever be the same.  As they ministered to the Navajos.  God ministered to them.  We had VBS at the Dome.  We were able to minister to some children who have not been in our services for a long time.  Many were very undisciplined.  The youth handled them well.  Steve touched the heart of the Navajo women and they came forward for prayer to live a more dedicated life for the Lord.

 OUR NEW BUILDING;

I HAD HOPED TO SEND A PICTURE OF ALL THE WORKERS LABORING FOR CHRIST POURING OUR FOUNDATION. PRAISE GOD, MAYBE IN THE NEXT NEWSLETTER

PRAYER REQUESTS:

Pray with us The Words found in Ex 36: 5,7 (The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work which the Lord commanded us to do.) (For the material they had was sufficient for all the work to be done - indeed to much.)

Pray for our staff

Pray for Christ for all Nations to be a very effectual ministry for our Lord Jesus Christ until He comes.  I know this is made possible through all of you.

Thank You to all the Churches and all the individuals for your wonderful gifts and support to us.  We are forever grateful.  Our prayers are with you.

Pray for Israel and for Our President

Pray for the Navajo President The election will be soon.

God Bless you all.

Serving him till He comes

June 2002 Newsletter

 Greetings from Dry New Mexico,

As I’m looking out my window today, I can’t remember when we had rain last.  It was before I went on vacation, and that was months ago.  It’s terribly dry, but we know the rain is coming soon.

I know that God shakes His head sometimes at some of my prayer request concerning rain.  For years I’ve prayed, “Please let it rain … but keep our roads dry and passable.”   Our summer Mission Teams will be arriving next month to do Vacation Bible Schools all over the reservation, and oh, how I pray they will be able to go everywhere we have planned and take the wonderful news of Jesus to our precious Navajo people.

As we delivered clothing to many churches on the reservation, a little girl came up to me and said, “I know you!  You brought people to our Church and did VBS for us.”   At another church, a small child said, “I know you; you gave me a doll and took my picture.”  These children remember us, what we do, and everything we teach them.

Please, please pray the doors will stay open for us to continue to go to the Chapter Houses and the churches.  Pray the Chapter Houses will not start charging us to use their facilities.  I have told them that it is for their children and their communities.  We help to make better citizens, but they want to charge us.

Academy News:   Thanks to Lynn, Ute, and Paul, our school year was wonderful.  Ute and Lynn work with the children and love them so much.  The children heard a lot of truths from Paul in chapel.  I was there the day he read the scriptures concerning tattoos and piercing and stressed the need for them to obey God and not cut and mark their bodies.  The national news is now reporting the children that are doing these things are in rebellion.  We could have told them that.

Graduation:  Michelle Todacheene, daughter of Pastor Rena, was lovely coming down the stairs in her graduation gown, and made us so proud.  We are so thankful for every Navajo child that graduates.  Most drop out of school by the tenth grade.

I was blessed the last week of school to that hear several of the students saying they wanted us to have summer school.  I think Lynn is going to try to give them a few classes in July, so they will be ahead next year.

Mission News:  Marvin also helps in many ways.  He saw the boys tearing our chairs up by leaning back in them, so he took their chairs away for a day, and had them sit on milk cartons.  Since he is the one who repairs them, we all agreed it was a good thing to do.

Marvin is also digging our footings for the new building project.  We keep praying for God to send us workers for the heavy-duty work coming up.   We’re also praying for funds to continue coming in for the building materials.

Paul and Lynn are moving into their lovely little home.  The carpet is in and looks so nice. Thank you all for your prayers and help.  They need only one more thing… a small-stacked washer and dryer.  We all marvel at how good God is to us.

Thank You:  We sure appreciate the truckload of clothing Brenda Trammel brought out here and even helped distribute.  The Lord blesses her for that labor of love.

Many thanks go out to New Life in Jesus Christ Church in Nashville, AR for the new computer that they donated for our school offices.  When our old one pooped out the Lord provided a new one.  Thank you New Life for being led of the Lord.

We also thank Ray Powell for several truck loads of food, paper good, clothing, and many other things he has brought.  He has begun to make regular trips to different areas collecting from churches and individuals.  Thank all of you who cooperate with him, and load him up with blessings for this work.  It is providing us with things to keep this Mission running, and the overflow to share.  Special thanks also to Ed for the trips he has made with Ray.

About My Family:  Aren’t my children wonderful?  They are all so special.  Many of you know my son Tim, and that he is a victim of a plant closure.  Being a caring and providing husband and father, he has had much concern.  After a great disappointment concerning another job, I thank God he knew where to turn when things got rough, and he did not understand.  When he asked God to show him why all this was happening to him, he opened his Bible, and God led him to Psalms 73.  (If you have not read that psalm in a while please read it.)  God answered all his questions, because He wants to talk to us.  He allows many things to happen in our lives to have us look only to Him.  His love for us is beyond comparison.  The more we get to know Him the more we love and trust Him.

Being a Christian does not mean bad things will never happen to us.  Tim and Lisa have been strong Christians and have raised their children in the ways of the Lord.  The devil has come to wear out the saints.  We must all use the word of God to let the devil know, that we know who we are in Christ.  We know what His word says concerning us.

The ladies from Alpine Baptist Church keep telling me what a wonderful son I have.  Bo is a deacon in that church, and he has been assigned to a certain group of women.  These women say they have never had such a wonderful deacon. He actually does what the Bible says a deacon is supposed to do.  I just have to brag a little on my children.

I’ll have to share more of what God is doing in my family at home.  He is working in all of their hearts and lives.  I pray that whatever may be a problem in your life or family, you will talk to God like Tim did.  Let Him truly be apart of your everyday life.  I heard someone say the other day,  “Jesus is the bridegroom and the bride doesn’t even take time to talk to him.”  He loves us so much, and He is always waiting to hear from us.

Our Work Outside the Mission:  Christian Worship Center is still under construction and the work is moving right along.  Ray will soon bring a group out to put up the sheet rock.

Maggie needs help to tear down their old church building. (Church of God in Nageezi)  They will then use some of the good lumber to add onto Jerry Domingo’s house.

Jessie came home to visit with his lovely girl friend, Tammy.  We are all happy for him.

Prayers Needed:

  1. Pray that work will go swiftly on the new building project at the Mission, and that the workers and funds will come flowing in.
  2. Pray that everyday we will be more effective in our ministry for Jesus.
  3. Pray for every Summer Mission Team as they prepare to come and that they have a safe and prosperous trip.

My Dream:  I dreamed I was with a lot of people I knew.  We were in a concentration camp.  An awful looking place surrounded by barbed wire.  There were guards all around us with big guns…we were trying to hide each other…some were trying to escape.  Since the dream, I’ve become even more aware of how easily it could come true right now.  We should pray daily for our country and thank God for everyday of freedom that we have.  I just heard that 78 countries are now persecuting Christians.    COULD WE BE NEXT?

In His Lovely Name,

Lazelle Powell

CFAN NEWS FLASH!

God Still hears and answers prayer! We have received our permit and work begins for the dormitories soon. Hallelujah!

If God has spoken to you and you know it’s Him Don’t let satan rob you of your dream. Generally it will be something too big for you to do. Something only God can do. Then He get’s the glory.

I am so excited about what God has done and what He is doing at Christ For All Nations in Lybrook, NM. To bring the Navajo’s and many other Indians to Himself. To know Him as Lord and Saviour. I believe it is the last harvest. This is God’s work. Though the giants have been many and large. We have never lost our vision it just becomes larger. It is like a garden planted of the Lord that grows and grows and grows.

FROM THE DORMITORIES TO A CHURCH

God is strongly speaking to us to start a church. We have never before wanted a church because we have always worked with all the churches. Today God says we can sill work with all the churches and have a have a church at CFAN. We need to make disciples.

Church... We are not speaking of a church building at this time.  We just feel a great need of a pastor and wife to join our team and be a shepherd to our people.  The people need to experience the fellowship, the love the nurturing of their souls through a church setting.  Our Tuesday night meetings are good but that is not enough teaching to bring them into discipleship.  We must teach them what God expects of them as Christians. To do this we will need another couple called to pastor.  My staff are all as busy as they can be there is no one to fill this need.  Please pray with us for this need to swiftly be met.  We have the Dome to meet in and will have a room in the new building to use for services.

I apologize for the inconvenience of our phone for the last month.  I believe it is finally fixed and pray we do not have any problem like that again.

I am praising God for my new car when I traded the old one in.  God gave me a Christian salesman.  Ray had called and told them all the problems I had with my old car.  This man was so nice he gave me enough trade in and rebate credit to pay off the balance I owed and keep my payments almost to the dollar they were.

Our phone is now working the number is the same (505) 568-4470 and our email is cfanlaz@juno.com. You can also call us at (505) 568-0010 my cell is (505) 330-1924

I had a wonderful trip south visiting family, friends and churches

Thank everyone for your gifts, your hospitality, your love and your prayers.

I thank God for my wonderful staff.  They made it possible for me to go

Thank all of you for making it possible for us to stay here and be your missionaries occupying till Jesus comes.

In His Great Love

April 2002 Newsletter

  Dear Wonderful Saints of God,

How I appreciate your prayers.  I know they make a difference.  I am so thankful today to be alive and I am fully persuaded Jesus watches over his children.  He saved my life again today.  I give Him praise and glory.  I had just left Christian Worship Center when I saw a car in the distance, generally I'll pull out, get a little speed and stay on my side.  Today I stopped before going on to the main highway and let this car pass.  When I put my foot on the accelerator I knew something was wrong.  I thought I had a flat.  So I tried to turn back to the shoulder.  Then I found out I could not turn the wheel.  I thought the car had died and it would stop in the middle of the highway.  The motor was on but the steering wheel had come completely unattached and you could turn it round and round like a clock.  There is a little lane, very small, for turning in the middle of the highway where it stopped, sitting straight across the road, cars flying by on both sides.  Dorothy and I were sitting praising the Lord when up drives a young Navajo private security officer.  Dorothy says he was an angel who appeared and was gone very fast.  But he went to the church and got Larry and some others.  He patrolled for us and was gone before anyone could thank him.  They were able to get it off the highway.  Praise The Lord!  The devil has tried to get rid of me several times in the past couple of years.  I thank God; He still has work for me to do.  I know we are doing things that upset all the demons.

I believe in angels and I believe in God's Divine Protection. I  know God protected us April 17 in a special way.

Rena had just told me she was going to get Dorothy to go with her to visit her sisters who are deep in peyote religion.  We had just had the Hebrew teacher out and have been really teaching the Navajo the importance of understanding our Jewish roots and the importance of our Nation standing with Israel.  Israel brought us our Savior.

We have much to do so that we may see the fruit of our labors here among the Navajo people.  Great revivals are breaking out all over the world even to the dead coming back alive.  One of the Navajo boys asked the question.  Why did we think we were different from the Mormons?  He said he did not see any of that great power we speak of.  I said that he would.  Jesus said, 'these things and greater shall you do because I have gone to my father.' Faith so strong is going to arise in the heart of the believer just as the children of Egypt looked at the serpent on the pole and they were healed.  We are going to see Jesus the way the disciples saw him on the road to Emmaus.  Our eyes are going to be opened to look upon him and be healed.  I believe it.  He said he was coming for a Bride without spot or wrinkle.  He will be everything in our life.

God Bless you all.  Together lets not look back but push forward till we see the mighty hand of God moving in our homes, in our families, in our cities, in our Nation, in The Navajo Nation.

We cannot trust man or weapons or automobiles or anything.  They can easily fail us, but not God.  He will never fail us.

So many things have happened since I have come to the Navajo reservation.  In this area they did not know what a Valentine Banquet was, because they did not know what love was.  It was a word never used.  We have had a Valentine Banquet at Christian worship Center for several years.  This year a Navajo minister brought the message.  When he spoke he told us his son had ask him what he was going to get his mother.  He said he had not thought of it.  When he was growing up he did not know what the word love was.  Now he said, I know.  How precious to see some of the changes that have come to some of the churches and some of the individuals.

Our visitors Buddy and Jan Greer were just here.  Buddy brought a salvation message and mentioned the importance of baptism.  We had visitors who have been in one of the churches behind us for many years.  We were surprised to see how many had never been baptized.  One wants to be baptized and we pray as we continue to teach all the others and many more will be saved and baptized.

Jack and, Ute are going often to a church to teach.  Jack drives the public school bus and works at the Public Water Service.

Paul continues teaching at Christian Worship Center, does Chapel for our children and tutors at the public school.  He also teaches at the church in Cuba.  Paul does many things around here to help keep us going.  We are blessed with these men.

Marvin, we cannot forget him.  He has been gone a month and we all miss him.  He is visiting his church, his family and putting a roof on his dad's house.

Bro.  Al and Delores need our prayers.  Bro. Al has been under the doctor’s. care for some time.  They have not found his problem.  He has no energy and other things wrong that let you know that is not our normal Bro.  Al.

Lynn and Ute are precious jewels to our students.  They put so much love in what they do for them.

How blessed I am to have the staff I now have.

Dorothy is a blessing to our work.  How we need the Navajo to stand with us for their people.

We bless and love you all.

·                    I covet your prayers for all of the following and our staff:

·                    For CFAN

·                    The Navajo President

·                    The Navajo Nation to turn to Jesus and be saved

·                    My trip down south

·                    The Dorm permit to be granted then built swiftly.

Our needs:

We are so thankful for our faithful sponsors.

Surely your reward will be great in heaven.

God Bless you

We love you

Lazelle

February 2002 Newsletter

Praise the Lord,

As I’m sitting down here to write this newsletter, I’m looking out the window at the beautiful snow melting
and seeing a few drops of water fall from my roof.  Out here, water is so precious; I thank God for every d
rop that He provides. I also thank Him for providing such wonderful supporters of this Mission in the desert-- and that’s you.  Everything that happens out here is because you have obeyed the Lord in sending prayers, encouragement, and funds. And like every drop of water-- it’s all precious.

We are also thanking God for a good, safe trip to Colorado.  Many thanks to Stan, Jackie, Dee Dee, Mr. Snifflesomthing, Cheryl, and Look-Out Mountain Church for the gifts you sent to make our trip possible and for treating us like royalty when we arrived.

Because of the gifts, we were able to take all our students to a seminar called “Activation.”  Even though we told our students what to expect, they were surprised to find a wonderful camp, with old and young alike being introduced to the Holy Spirit and His gifts to reach the lost.

The first day was long and difficult for the non-Christians among us.  The teaching on evangelism began at 9:00 am and lasted until 10:00 pm. By the second day, the Lord had put a hook in some of their spirits; and they began to really receive. By the last day, they were taking part in the services. One young man and his girlfriend were delivered from Mormonism.  Isn’t God good!

The President’s “State of the Union Address” echoes in my ears. He urged us to give two years of our lives to help other people. We need your help, so here’s your opportunity.  Plant your life for a few months…a year…two years.  We need a youth leader called and equipped of God. Our youth have so little to do
around here. They need basic Christian living instruction and to be inspired to live their lives for the Lord.

You don’t need to go overseas to be in a third world country. We (in the Navaho Nation) are classified as
an “unreached people group,” and we’re within the borders of the largest Christian nation in the world.
Come and help us, or share this cry with someone the Lord is putting on your heart.

In the news lately, you have seen that the “mark” has been made ready and, in just a matter of time, will be put into use. It will begin as a matter of security. But wake up Church! Our Bible prophecy is being fulfilled rapidly.

Rev. 13:16,17-- “And he causeth all both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark
in their right hand or in their foreheads; and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Rev. 22:12-- And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his
work shall be.  I am the Alpha & Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Vs. 16--  I (Jesus) have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the Churches.

I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Vs. 17-- And the Spirit and the Bride say, Come, and let him that heareth say, come.  And let him that is athirst come.  And whosoever will let him take of the water of life freely.

I encourage all reading this letter: If you are not in a Church and actively serving God, please make this a priority in your life. One of our commandments is to remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. Then
Jesus says, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”  He has warned us that in the last days people will forsake the assembling together with other Christians.  Worldly friends will not help us on that day.  You are going to need to be in a fellowship with other believers because we need each other desperately. Don’t waste your life on anything that won’t resurrect.

My heart breaks when we see the faces of the missionaries being held hostage in the Philippines, and the lady crying, “Won’t someone help us?” I know that other Christian hearts are breaking and crying out to the Lord God to intervene and set them free as He did the two young women in Afghanistan.  Help them, Lord. Help us, Lord.

 Prayer Requests:

 Thank You:

Harvest Time Assembly for the Benevolence Gift that went above your monthly support check.

Joe & Mary Ann Evan’s Memorial Gift for Sidney Montgomery

We pray for each one of you daily and believe for your needs to be met as you have met ours through Christ Jesus. We are believing for a rich and bountiful harvest to be rolling into His Kingdom daily.

 In His Name

 Lazelle

January 2002 Newsletter

 Greetings From Cold New Mexico,

Romans 14:17  “Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost…”  is being sent your way for this coming New Year.  I believe this is what God would want for all of us.  He is so wonderful and wants us to be right with Him so that we can receive His blessings --- He is Peace and Joy.

Our Christmas was blessed because of all you wonderful Saints. You  Sent and Gave  --- making it possible for us to give & give.  Thank You, Thank You!  We were not able to go to all the places that we wanted to visit because of the weather. Roads became impassable; however, we are slowly making all the rounds.  We made up 43 boxes of food and 160 bags of fruit, nuts and candies.

A young man came for water today.   I was able to give a box of groceries and gifts for his children.  He stood there for a long moment then said, “Would you pray for my mother.”  Praise God ---  I wish I had that moment on video --- and all the others  you blessed through us, so you could see.  Thank you for making a difference.

Academy News:  Everyone sends their love and says “thank you”, too.  While Jack and Ute took a trip to Florida to take Karen to college, I worked in the Academy a few days.  Believe me, I learned to appreciate my teachers more than ever before.  In our school, the teachers stand on their feet 8 hours a day and constantly help precious students as they raise a flag.  I’m grateful for the experience, because it helped me see the needs of our students and our teachers.

Walking among them, I prayed, “Lord, let not a one of these miss that great plan you have for their life.”  It’s hard for them to understand the great potential that I see in them and have hope.  Pray that they will come to the knowledge that God can and will make a difference in their lives (including those around them) if they can only believe.

Romans 15:21 “But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see,

and they that have not heard shall understand.”

Our job is to bring this hope to all the Navajo.

We now have two wonderful college students.

We opened our Academy doors with 22 students. We turned several away because there is no room in the Dome. Last year we graduated three. We have three of our graduates in college now. Thank you Lord for a good year!

Staff News:  Praise the Lord!!  Paul and Lynn’s house is almost finished…the flooring is last to be completed.   We thank all of you who put money and labor into the building of their new home.  They are thrilled.

Ray brought us another little car and what a blessing.  Ronald Denton Moore donated this cute little 1989 Fiesta to the Mission.  It’ll come in so handy for short trips to do errands.  Thank you so much.

Delores is still faithful to travel here to teach although many times she travels alone.  They need your prayers for her safety and for Al’s health.

Now about me:  As you know, I travel lots of miles … sometimes it seems in every direction ….teaching, preaching, visiting people, and praying for the sick.  My car has been in the shop for the past three months and I need your prayers that it will come back to me in good shape for the miles ahead.  As some of you already know, I’m planning a trip back to the South in April.  I intend to visit you & your Churches so please get with me and lets make plans. (I was so blessed to have my son Ray, daughter Leah, her husband Danny and two grandchildren for Christmas!)

Prayer Request:  You are held before the Lord everyday from our prayer room.  If you have special needs, please mail, call or email them and we will be on our knees for you.

Here are the special needs that we will share with you.

1.       Dorothy T. is one of our Bible College students.  Her husband was a “medicine man” and he died last year.  Two of her four children serve the Lord and are good to her, but the other two have robbed her of all she has including her car.  One son is already in prison and the police are looking for the other one.  Dorothy is hungry for the things of God and only wants to serve Him with all her heart and to reach her people with the Gospel.  She stays here at the Mission, and is a good help to us.  Please keep her in your prayers.

2.       Jeanette A., another college student, and like Dorothy wants to reach her people with the Truth that can bring them out of bondage.  She needs prayer.

3.       Rena T. who is Pastor of Christian Worship Center has had another tragedy in her family.  Rena’s aged Aunt and crippled Uncle have grown old together and were still living on their own.  A nurse checked on them daily.  During a recent cold night, the Aunt went out for some wood and never came back.  The next morning the Nurse found her frozen to death.   Neither knew the Lord, but Rena is standing for her Uncle like she stood for her sister who received the Lord on her deathbed.

4.       Marvin (member of our staff) has been ill and the doctors aren’t giving him good reports.  He is a lot of help to us and is so excited about being involved in the construction of our new building.

5.       Mission Prayer Needs:

·         Dormitories to be constructed – we’re turning people away.

·         A gym – (these students need a place to run & play in bad weather & it could also serve as a large meeting space)

·         Three vacuum cleaners (new ones please)

·         Twin Mattresses

·         A group of ladies to come pray and quilt blankets for our bunkhouses.  (we have everything we need - quilt tops, & old blankets to recover- we need hands)

·        Good computer games for our students (break time for busy minds)

·        We need sponsors ($300 per student)

·        Please pray for my family, this Mission, our wonderful staff, our nation & our Navajo nation.

Thank you for all that you are and all that you do for us.  You are patient and kind, ready to meet all the needs of this Mission.  For this, we are very grateful.

I Remain in His Service and yours,

Lazelle Powell

p.s.

Could this be the Terrorist spoken of in The Revelation?

I want to quote a few things from David Wilkerson’s Newsletter. Think about it.

In Revelation 8 we read of seven Angels sounding trumpets.  This mighty horn-blast warn all humankind about awesome calamities coming upon the earth.  The first blast warns of incredible pollution that poisons, the trees, grass, rivers, and seas, as well as the air.  Waters become bitter, and skies darken over on third of the earth.

Then in Chapter 9, a fifth warning comes.  It describes a worldwide invasion of locust. Vs 30  “There came out of the smoke locust upon the earth, and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth.” --- Vs 7 “their faces were as faces of men”---(we’re told they have long hair) “They had hair as the hair of women.”  Vs 8 “on their heads were as it were crowns” (headdresses or turbans) --- This is no mystical allegory – it is a real human army.

Theologians from the 17th century, including many puritans, believe this army of locust to be Mohammedans.  They saw the locust invasion as a worldwide Islamic jihad, or holy war.

Years ago, a well-known writer named Dr. Woodsworth depicted this scenario in a book he wrote on Islam and Mohammed.  He saw the billowing smoke in Revelation 9 as the doctrine of Islam, like a thick cloud, Islam blinded the peoples eyes, shutting out truth and darkening their minds.  It even had power to blind entire nations.  He believed this to be a Moslem army.

David Wilkerson’s whole article was very informative, but I believe these points will be enough for you to come to some conclusions, namely, that we are in the end times on earth as we all know.  Isn’t it wonderful to know that soon, all of us will be moving to New Jerusalem, the beautiful city of God, and we will begin our eternal life with Him forever?  Wow, it’s all about eternity.  May this year be blessed with every one of us making some good investments in eternal life.

NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2001 NEWSLETTER

Seasons Greetings to Everyone:

Let's start with a scripture the Lord gave me:

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever. Hosea 12:3

Today brings each one of us one day closer to eternity. As I view the news and am so aware of the reality of what is going on in the world, and as I read my Bible and listen to the Prophets, my prayer for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is that she rise up to her full potential and proclaim the unsearchable riches of the Lord.

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ. To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord. in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Eph. 3:9

GLORY AND HONOR AND POWER WILL BE IN THE CHURCH AND IN ISRAEL AND WITH THOSE WHO STAND WITH HER. Pray. Pray for America and our president, for each other without ceasing, as Paul would say. Pray for our children. Satan has always tried new ways to reach and destroy our children. Now one of his tools is the Harry Potter books. If you are not aware of what the author is doing in these books, please become informed so that you can inform others. John Hagee Ministries has some very informative materials on this subject. Order by phone: -1-800-854-9899.

Mission News

· Bible College Classes and CFAN Academy are off to a good start --our best group of young people!!

· One of our seniors teaches the youth on Tuesday evening and has them doing sign songs at area church services.· We baptized five in our new "horse trough" baptistery. It was wonderful because three of them were our own students.

· Paul and Lynn's new home is taking shape. Many thinks to Duncanville Foursquare Church and Pastor Gary Osborn. How we thank God for his servants that He sends who labor so hard. The men built, and the women cooked and fed us all plus cleaned and organized. Paul is working on the electricity and will soon be putting up the sheet rock.

· Pray that their beautiful home will be ready by Thanksgiving!

· Ray and Marvin (Marvin works with Ray at CFNI) brought our lovely new van out here. Betty and Terry left their busy schedule in Dallas and came to drive them back. We had a short but very nice visit with all of them. Terry brought a new program for our computer. With the help of Jack and Pat Leavitt (and all the other wonderful people God sends our way), we are getting organized in the office.

· The Feast of Tabernacles was a roaring success. Jan and Buyck McGowan came to help. I am usually so stressed, but I could have saved myself the worry because everyone worked together beautifully. We had some problems getting the sheep butchered; but as usual, the Lord worked out every detail and all went well. There was spiritual food, along with the physical food, for everyone. Our Navajos again were taught many things about their heritage as the seed of Abraham. Dennis Otero, who pastors a church in Albuquerque and teaches on channel 11 and at Trinity University, brought us great teachings all day. The Olive Branch, a singing group from his messianic congregation, filled the dome with true praise. Our Navajo group, "Steadfast," ministered in music; and Pastor Vince Sanders from Cuba brought the word later that evening. The weather was perfect, and every service seemed to be ordained of God.

When the long day had ended, our hard-working staff cleaned and put the last things away with laughter and joy in their hearts. A job well done!

· Windi is the newest member of our staff and an amazing blessing to us all. It will be interesting to see how God rewards her for all she is doing for this mission.

· Bro. Sanders asked an I O'h grade student what she wanted to thank God for. She quickly replied, "I want to thank God that I can come here to this Christian school."

The Holiday Season

We Need Your Help!

We try to make this a wonderful time for the Navajo and stress "The Reason for the Season". Each year we receive presents and food from supporting churches and friends. We pack up what we have and visit Chapter Houses, Churches, individual homes, bringing bags of food and gifts. We carol in the homes. We also do dramas and skits. It's a great opportunity to bring the Gospel in different ways and share the love of Jesus. We then have a big Christmas Service at the Dome and invite even more people. We serve a Christmas meal and give gifts, fruit and nuts to everyone.

In order to do this we need your help. Ray will be coming through some of your areas with a trailer to pick up what you collect and bring it to New Mexico. If you have not already signed up and would like to help with Christmas to The Navajo, please contact:

Jan McGowan (903-846-2506)

Mary Alice Moore (870-845-5683

Powell Family in La.(318-640-8670)

Baker Family in La. (318-640-3017)

Please pray that we will collect all we need to bless even the youngest child. Pray that we will be able to bring the love of Jesus to these wonderful Navajo people. Pray that as we celebrate His birth we will reevaluate our own life and return to the day we first loved Jesus and invited Him into our heart. Pray that we will return to that first love and that our bridegroom will come soon. I had a dream this week that Jesus was getting ready to strip all of us to stand naked and transparent before Him. It will reveal every ugly thing in our lives---nothing will be hidden. I think he is having me write this as a wake up call to all of us. And what He will be revealing

Thank you for always being there for us!

SEPTEMBER 2001 NEWSLETTER

NEWS FROM CFAN

Surely tragedy has come to America. God has removed the hedge of protection.

Sin brings Judgment: No country can legalize killing babies, telling God He is not welcome in school or government, endorsing homosexuality, exploiting the very young and the aged, supporting anti-Christ art with tax payers’ money, and so many other things our country has done and expect God to allow it to go unpunished. I’m glad to see that this tragedy is opening the eyes of some Americans, and I pray that others will see that they are standing on the edge of eternity. This could so easily have been the coming of Christ, and the world would be in even more chaos.

I have been writing, in my newsletter, things like this:

Make no mistake; we know who brought the destruction because his face is so plain in the photographs, and his evil breath was in the very air of New York. Jesus came to bring life and to give it to us more abundantly, but the devil came to steal, kill, and destroy. We need to make sure we know who is who. We cannot undo what has been done. Today we can vow to walk closer to God and help others to be saved before it is too late.

We had a wonderful week of Bible studies in homes with Buddy & Jan and the group from Esler Baptist Church in Pineville. Every home is still talking about what that did for them. In one home, two whole families rededicated their lives to Christ, and one night four young teenage girls made a public profession of their faith. One of them will be teaching our young people on Tuesday night. God is so good!

I went to Torreon on Friday night and preached in a revival service. God was really in our midst. At least five young men gave their hearts to Jesus, and several rededicated their lives. Please pray with us that they will find a Church and continue to grow.

Last night, I was asked to talk to a young married woman with two children. She was very reluctant to talk, but she finally told me about how she was molested as a child by her relatives when her mother would leave her with her aunt. She said that her husband has no compassion for her, and it brings back memories of the abuse. She wishes her husband could be kind and gentle with her, and it made me so sad to realize how many kinds of suffering is going on in people’s lives. The only solution is to reach out and receive His comfort and His trust. He will never hurt us, and He will never forsake us. How we thank you for helping us bring hope and healing to so many people.

August 2001 Newsletter

Greetings to all of you from beautiful Green Louisiana, And special love to all our sponsors who faithfully send money every month to keep this work alive and growing.

I'm enjoying the trees, the grass, and the water of Louisiana however; it's time to head back to my sandy home in New Mexico.  I thank God that I was able to come home at this time, and to bring the eulogy for my brother-in-law's funeral.  Sidney Montgomery was sixty-eight, Years old, and I had known him for fifty-six years.  He was a very good man but goodness will not get us into heaven.  Many times my sister-in-law had called to ask me to come home and speak to him about salvation.  He had always eluded the question until just this year; I had the wonderful privilege of leading him in the "sinners prayer".  My son, Ray, later baptized him.  Thank God for his long suffering and mercy to us.  I thank God that He did not take Sidney before he was ready to face eternity.  Our God is good.  His family was comforted knowing that they can see him and live with him forever.  What joy it gave me to tell them he had just changed his address and would be there waiting for them.

When I left New Mexico, I was so thankful for the tears in many of our Indians eyes, and the burden in their heart that was bringing them to much intercession for their families.  We know that it will be their prayers and burden that will make a difference in their families and the whole Navajo Nation. Like the Navajo my heart was moved for my own family and I felt the need to extend my visit in Louisiana.  I'm always talking to the Lord, and saying such things as, "Dear Lord, if I take care of all the things you have sent me to do, I trust you to take care of my family." I have to believe that in order to spend so much time away from them. I know He will take care of them and I trust Him completely.

Now about the Mission: Pastor Jay Holt and five other workers came from Crooked Creek Baptist Church in Kentucky.  They came ready to go to work and they did.  We had a blessed time ministering at Stanley Atway's Brethren in Christ Church. It is wonderful to work with all these denominations on the reservation in peace. They brought solid teaching to our Navajos. They saw the need of reaching the Navajo Nation for the Lord and have promised to return next year.

Harvest Time Assembly, what troopers!  Three lathes from Murfreesboro Assembly of God along with Pastor Jerlydeen Shinne held a Vacation Bible School at Counselor Chapter House.  Don't ever say that you're too old to work for Jesus, because these elderly lathes through the years have taught these children about Jesus and have won their hearts. This year the children showed their gratitude by openly expressing their love for these women.  This is very unusual for the Navajo.

Our last Vacation Bible School for the summer of 2001 was done Alpine Baptist Church of Tioga, Louisiana. (The church home of several of my children and grandchildren) Steve Maltimpi, the Youth Pastor, and five other workers ministered in Kimbeto at Cecil Sales Church.  The Sales were so grateful for their ministry.  Mother Lillie showed her appreciation by making fry bread and Navajo beans on the final day for the whole Bible School. Two of the men built a nice cabinet for our children's room at the Dome.

In His Great Love,

Lazelle Powell

GREETINGS FROM NEW MEXICO

July 2001 Activities

It is always so good to hear from you all. How can I never thank you enough for all your support and prayers.

We pray none of us at C.F.A.N will ever disappoint you with the things God places in our hands to use for Him.

We covet your prayers as we long to be more and more effective in our ministry. We know our work for Jesus must be fast and effective. All of the signs of the time point to the soon coming of our Savior. This morning in my private devotion, Psalms 37:14 spoke into my spirit. "The wicked have drawn their sword and have bent their bow to cast down the poor and needy and to slay such as be of upright conversation." (K.J.V.) Many homes that once held up a standard of righteousness have let their guards down. This has allowed evil to become predominate. Alcohol, drugs, adultery and ungodly conversation seems to be the norm. The sword is drawn against godly conversation and righteousness. If only families would turn back to God and help save our children.

TV and news bow to Satan's demands to bring more and more evil into our homes. I read in a newsletter recently that a major denomination is now questioning if Jesus is "the Christ". When we are not doing things to invite God's presence into our churches and homes, Satan has the open door to bring his evil doings in to our thoughts and lives. Let us hold fast to the faith of our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and be good stewards in the fields where Our Master has planted us. God is so good. He knows your every need and He loves you and cares about every big and small detail in your life. He tells us His thoughts toward us are more than the sands of the sea. He is so big I can not comprehend Him. I am totally in Awe of Our God!

We invite Jesus in though our conversation, His word all through the house, on the walls, the gates, every table, and through the guest we invite. First we must develop a good appetite for the things of God. God has miraculously sent a Navajo lady to us. She lives with me part time. She helps with cooking and cleaning. There is a great call of God on her life for her people. Pray she will not become discouraged but will continue to be a blessing to all of us and we can bless her.

We have just completed two wonderful V.B.S. with New Life for Jesus, Nashville Ark. Mary Alice came with five servants set to go. They had both morning and night schools. Morning at Nageezi, evening at Christian Worship Center. Close to one hundred was present everyday. Susan, Victor, Justin and Mesha did wonders with the children and I was so proud of the children. At least five at each school learned all their memory verses for the whole week. There were 20 to 25 ladies present at both schools. They love to work with their hands and learn new crafts. Sometimes they are able to make and sell the crafts they learn to make after the teams leave. There was salvation’s and rededication’s as Mary Alice and Sandra Lee taught and ministered to the ladies. This was Sandra Lee's first visit to Lybrook and she has already promised to return soon. The Moore family has been with me from the very beginning of the ministry and Mary Alice is like a daughter. I was so thrilled when her and Lankford told me they were sending Mesha to me for the summer. Mesha graduated this year and plans to attend O.R.U. She has been such a blessing with her sweet ways her beautiful voice and fellowship. Always willing to help grandmother and whoever needs help. Jessie and Mesha kept us laughing with their cute dramas. And the true Victor came out when he was called on to help Mesha with the music. It was great.

Mary Alice generally brings gifts and prizes for the children this time she forgot them. God did not forget. He knows what we need always. So he sent Dewey and Pauline Humphries some of our wonderful motorcycle people. They had more than enough gifts for the Bible Schools, for our Tuesday night children and then some. Mary Alice and myself, we were so grateful and thankful to see again how God supplies.

Jeanette Simmons came from Demming, New Mexico with and awesome group of youth. We had a tent meeting at the church where Ute and Jack minister once a month. The church is behind us on Navajo land. Each night a different Navajo minister preached. The last night the preacher did not come rained and our roads were awful. Satan really tried to cancel that meeting but God knew what he was doing. The youth pastor with Jeanette brought the message it was powerful and two older boys gave their hearts to Jesus. The group made lasting friends with some of our Navajo youth and will be coming back.

Then Ray came and brought my grandson Drew, and our Jan McGowan and Larry Ham. Larry did some much-needed electric work for us. It was so good to have Ray around a few days. Drew got to stay a couple of weeks with me then his mom, "Leah" and Daniel her other son came and visited a few days. It is always such a special blessing when my children come.

I love to see our Navajo's faces when friends like Buddy and Jan Greer come back to see them. This time they were in tears. Buddy and Jan Greer bring much joy to an elderly couple in Kimbeto who are very lonely. They love the Navajo. They always bless and encourage us with their visits.

You will remember our request for Mike, Jan and Buyck McGowan's son. We thank you for all your prayers. Michael went home to be with the Lord. We were blessed to have Jan come out for a few days They are slowly rebuilding their lives as most of their former day's resolved around their son. They are so precious and they are at peace knowing they can not bring him back. Nor would they want to in the condition and suffering he had endured; but they know one day they can be with him again.

Then we had this wonderful group of intercessors come from La. The Murshbrochs and Mildred Beam. It was ironic in that the Aglow who always comes in and covers our place with intercession each year was unable to come. The Murshbroch's have always done V.B.S. This year they came as intercessors with Mildred Beam. Mildred is a world traveler with Aglow and Peter Wagner ministries. It was neat to see how fast they all discerned and saw things that needed to be removed. Things that were inviting other gods. I know lots of strongholds were torn down. They went to our Camp Meeting, every night and met with pastors after the services to find places to go to pray. It was really a God thing. God knew we needed the intercessors.

This morning we said goodbye to Stan, Jackie Jacobson and Lookout Mountain Church group along with several from other churches who came with them to minister. God opened so many doors for them and for us. I can not tell half they did. We kept the tent up from the Annual Camp Meeting for two nights. We had youth meetings. We had a good group both nights. There were 27 from Colorado. God had lain on Stan's heart to bring care packages. He met with Pastors to have them go with him and a carload of others to deliver these packages to members of their churches. It was wonderful. They went to far places and blessed these Pastors people. Going from house to house and you know how far it is from house to house here. Then David and Dee Dee Thompson brought another fabulous group of youth. They worked hard when they were here cleaning all the beer cans and alcohol bottles from the highway all the way to our house. At night they were so anointed as they did drama and musicals. Don't try to tell me our youth are going to pot. We have some of the best youth in the world come out here. David and Dee Dee are involved with street ministry and go to a large detention home to minister in Denver.

We have a ministry in Farmington called Echo. They help the poor and sell at very reduced prices the things they can to tax exempt organizations. They ask me if we had anyone willing, to go pick apricots. Some of Jackie's group volunteered. They picked and picked apricots. God opened a door for us to have them to go to the detention home here. I went with them. It was quite an experience to minister to these locked up boys. One boy kept hugging me and said I looked like his grandmother who had passed away two years ago. He missed her so much. They were so glad we had come and some gave their heart to Jesus and others rededicated their lives and said they would never be back in there.

We went to Farmington to the park. Jackie is a marvelous musician. She ministers under a great anointing. We invited the Navajo churches and people. We had a good group of people and fed them much, much food. Everyone that passed by was invited to eat. A Navajo couple came in and was ministered to all day. They rededicated their heart to Christ and thanked and thanked us for inviting them. Two men came in to eat and were saved. Lots of teens were ministered to. Pastor Stan from one of the churches we blessed with care packages came and brought pizzas and a vanload of kids. Pam a lovely lady did mime several times she is very special. She has a disease that keeps her in constant pain. When she is ministering she is so anointed you would never know she has anything wrong with her. They also brought a Choctaw Indian who blessed the heart of everybody with his preaching the word. Most every word was scripture. There was a man named Joe. He did worship and praise that lifted us higher and higher.

Then we thank all the precious ones it takes to make ministry complete, like Sheryl, C.C., Linda, April, Ken, The sweet mother and daughter I can't name them all.

Jackie brought a beautiful teaching on how to make Jesus Lord. Wow, what a week! The Navajo Nation has been blessed this summer through CFAN and all you wonderful people and it is not over yet.

Keep us in prayer, Please, Please.

JUNE 2001 NEWSLETTER

Dear Saints,
It is that wonderful time again. When we have V.B.School. Those of you who know me know I love V.B.S.
because I was saved at age 11 in a V.B.S. Please, Please pray that every mission group that comes will
make a big difference for Jesus in the area we take them.

Our school year was really great. Our workers love the children and give of them selves to help them.
Rewards Night; Pastor Pat Kissel, from Christ Chapel in Los Alamos spoke directly to our youth. Encouraging
them to be Daniel’s and like The Disciple John. There was no compromising with these men of God. All the
kings’ riches did not turn Daniel’s head. He knew his God and made all the right choices, as
did John. He encouraged them to make it to the finish line. A group of Navajo youth (Steadfast) brought our
music. We ask you to pray for them and their leader. Everything we see about this young man speaks
steadfast for Jesus.

Graduation Day:
Our three graduates were beautiful. There speeches brought tears to every ones eye’s as they thanked
parents, teachers and all who had encouraged and helped them to make it. Pastor David Merrit from
Harvest Time Assembly in Farmington. brought another great message. He did not know the school Bible
Verse or song or motto. Yet he spoke about "All Things are Possible", our school song. Our Seniors Scripture
was, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Phil: 4:16 and the theme all year in our school
was running the race. All of these things he covered over and again.

One of our own students and his Aunt Janette did our beautiful music. Again it was special and this young man
is another youth with and evident call of God on his life. Branden Herereo.

Good advise for parents. You only have them one time around. Children are precious Jewels. Take special
care of them. Above all obey God’s word to train them up in the way they should go using Deut. 6. 4-9 as you
guide. It takes a lot of work and sacrifice to bring them up in the way everlasting. It will be worth it.

Signs of the time:
This is a quote from the author of Harry Potter’s books. " I think it is absolute rubbish to protest children’s books
on the grounds that they are luring children to satan," In July Roland told a London Times reporter. " People
should be praising them for that! These books guide children to and understanding that the weak idiotic Son of
God is a living hoax who will be humiliated when the rain of fire comes…..while we, his faithful servants laugh
and cavort in victory".

She will find out how weak our Jesus is when she along with all others who mock the name of Jesus Christ
are burning in a real live never ending fire. Please don’t be foolish parents and think these books are innocent
and want effect your children. Satan is the author of this trash and sends it out to do his dirty works of destruction.

Two premier hotels in Australia have removed the Gideon Bibles from their rooms. They want to patronize all
people they say so will place them in the foyer with all other religious books.

Israel:
A true boiling pot at this time. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and give what you can to help the Jew’s
who have gone back and have no place to stay or food to eat.

Pray for our president when people like the Dali Lama go there, that President Bush will be a strong witness for
the Lord Jesus Christ. That he will be like Elijah and Elisha and not compromise but he will lift up the name of
Jesus. When the Dali Lama made his visit to the White House last month all the security computers went out.
A Christian newsman said he believed the things that happened that day was our God sending a message to
the White House. Pray that as God speaks to the ears of our leaders in Washington, they will hear with their
spiritual ears.

Pray for Christ for All Nations All our staff The Dorm:
We had the ground breaking and have it all level and ready for forms. Pray that God will move all red tape out
of our way. Give us wisdom and knowledge, favor and swiftly we will get this building finished and filled with
students and interns. Gods will be done in Lybrook, NM at CFAN.

Our small summer cottages are so nice the beds are lovely but we sure could use some nice new mattresses
about 20 for now. One of the cottages is being used for Tuesday night children’s church. I have a Navajo lady
that has come to live with me. She has been a lot of help and speaks and interprets Navajo real fluently. Pray
she will become a very steady and valuable asset to our ministry. We have always prayed for Navajos to come
and join us here.

I’ve not had a prayer warrior since Genevie, Billy and Rudy passed away. We do have Rena she is a very
strong prayer warrior but her work limits her services to the Lord.

We continue to ask prayer for our students and our new students that will join us in the Academy and Bible
College.

Pray for more workers, more teachers and more helpers.

We pray for all of you wonderful people, your churches, your congregations, your families.

Together we will make a difference for Jesus everywhere we are.

God Bless you all

MAY 2001 NEWSLETTER

 Dear Saints,

Here we are another month has passed and there has been no great harvest for our Lord. The news we hear on T.V. breaks our heart. Our children placed under such awful crisis in the schools, our whole world in chaos. Surely we can say with Paul we live in perilous times. We have just heard on the news 5000 Navajo children in Albuquerque are failing in school. What is the answer? What are we Christians going to do for all the children everywhere to help them have the chance we had to a peaceful life and hope for a future. This can only come through Jesus Christ and bringing them to knowledge of him. Letting them know how important they are to God to and to their community. They can make a difference if we can make a difference in them.

I just visited this large facility that is closing. It is a mission of The Brethern Church. They had a school from grades 1-12 for a few years they have been cutting out more and more grades and this year in May they will completely close their doors. This will be the 4th mission we have watched close or almost close their doors. All of these missions are within a 30-mile radius of us. Can we see how the devil does not want Christians here in this area? Oh how we thank you for your prayers and support that keeps us here. God truly raised this Academy up at this time.

I will have to admit Sunday Morning I was almost ready to close our doors. We had three van loads of wonderful people from San Antonio who had come to minister. We were planning on taking them to two churches. Sunday morning we woke up to a big snowstorm. We knew the road was bad so we left real early to give us ample time to get to church. At 11:30 we are still on the one-mile stretch between my house and the road. We never made it to the highway. All three vans were stuck and we had to get a tractor to pull us out. No church for any of us on Sunday. Praise God the sun was shining the next morning and now the road is back to normal.

We have had some wonderful meetings and Visitors this month. Stan and Jackie Jacobson brought another special group of God’s children from Lookout Mt. Church in Colorado. They blessed us with many things as they always do. Then Jackie brought good teaching about the importance of Communion and it’s meaning to us. Remembering HIM and what HE did for us through HIS death, HIS burial, and HIS resurrection. One lady had been here before and our prayer room had touched her heart in such a way. She wrote a song about how she was touched in that blue room. We are always blessed to know how God has ministered and spoke to others when they come here.

Blowing the shofar

Al & Delores preparing Passover Lighting  Passover candles  Dennis Otero blowing the shofar

Al and Delores cooked and served a wonderful Passover Meal and brought Dr. Dennis Otero to minister the Passover. He is a pastor and teacher of the Hebrew language in Albuquerque. He taught how that it was a rehearsal of what we would do in heaven. With the teaching of Jackie, Dr. Otero and Delores our people now are understanding more and more the mirror in the Old Testament that we are to look back at and see Jesus even in the Passover as the lamb slain before the foundation of the earth for our sins. Deliverance from Egypt and deliverance from our Egypt (all our sins) only JESUS was worthy. A lamb without spot or blemish, He is so wonderful.

We will have our Graduation exercise on May 19th. On May the 18 we will have awards night. We covet your prayers. We are really seeing God answer prayer with these children. Paul speaks words of wisdom to them each week and Lynn, Ute and Jessie are jewels. One mother came and told me how thankful she was and she had been asking her children what would they do without these teachers. Please keep all of them in prayer. The few that come to our Bible Studies at church or so hungry and faithful to come for the word.

Paul and Delores are doing a great job of teaching. Though few in number we are making disciples. Marvin and David are a blessing to many. David works on vehicles. He and Marvin finished the wheelchair ramp. They have been working at Maggie’s and Deborah’s homes. They will get the wheelchair mans hot water tank hooked up for him. He is in need of two doors. Maybe some one coming this way could bring those and go help put them up. All of the men have been working on the storage and Jessie has been so busy with school and helping me in the yard. He had all the San Antonio youth out planting flowers and cleaning yards. They were a nice group of young people.

My Big Blessing. Philip and Susan Camp are the proud parents of Lynnsie Faith Camp. My newest great grandbaby. I am being blessed.

Many Thanks, Butch Baker.. bath room fixtures for Paul and Lynn’s house

More Blessing, from Sue Anthony my beautiful clothes. All the things Look Mt brought for everyone. Our most wonderful sponsors..

For your prayers.. We need them more and more. Some people even church members do not know what happens when The Gathering of the Nations are going on in Albuquerque. We can tell weeks before over our area. We know a spiritual battle is going on in the heavenlies and demons and principalities are headed in that direction to set up their camp. Some churches members and churches are unaware of the spirit world and are allowing all kinds of witchcraft and worship of other gods into their congregations. We have heard of some things that trouble us. Please pray for discernment for all of us. That we always know HIS voice and no other master will we follow.

Oh how we love and thank all of you . We always pray God’s blessing follow you. Please keep my son Ray and all my wonderful family in your prayers.

GOD BLESS YOU

APRIL 2001 NEWSLETTER

April 4, 2001

Greetings from New Mexico,

Winter is still here though they tell us spring has arrived. It's cold. Today Lynn, Jessie and Ute braved the wind and cold to take our students to Navajo Lake for and overnight camping trip. The students are doing very well, all the way around. We did have to expel two boys. One of them comes on Friday afternoons and works on his lessons, which he is trying to keep up at home. Keep him, Jarad in your prayer. The youth are really under attack everywhere and we must break this demonic spirit that they be free to worship God. Then they will be fulfilled and do good things.

Greater is HE that is in us!

We have so much to thank God For:

First of All  Our Sponsors. Without you all of these things would not be happening in Lybrook NM.

Extra Blessings in March. Many thanks to Esler Church, Kingsville Church, Northside Church. For your contributions of money and material things. And for your precious people that came out bringing 30 bunk beds they had made. They are so nice and sturdy. They brought moneys to buy material for a large storage shed. We have to have a place to move all the things in our shop building before we can start on Paul and Lynn's house. Praise God and Thanks to Buddy and Jan Greer, Richard and Carolyn Duncan and Dennis and Teddy Stewart, Fannie Shaw and Andrew we now have just what we needed. Special thanks to Buddy for getting this all together. Many thanks to the wives and Fannie, who spoiled us with all the delicious food they brought already, prepared. We did not have to go in the kitchen while they were here they fed us every day.

Best of all we had mini revivals two nights in different churches with a heavenly choir and in a home Bible Study an elderly Navajo man recommitted his heart to the Lord.  He said he had made a decision for Christ many years ago but had no encouragement and went away from the Lord.

Thank Cornerstone Church for the things they sent. Thank Dewey & Pauline Humphries for the new Camcorder
Thanks to Brenda Tramell. She brought a large U Haul she has just purchased. She had it loaded down with hundreds of boxes of clothing. We went on all the back roads to different churches and blessed them with lots of clothing.

I had a wonderful trip to La. The dogwoods and azaleas were in bloom the weather was nice and it was a blessing to have Rena Toodacheene with me. She was not ready to come home. Everyone showed her such love and she kept saying what a difference that trip was making in her. She was amazed at the love my family showed me. One Pastor Richard Sarver came against the spirit of sorrow in her. And said she would dance before the Lord with joy. Sure enough before we left that church she was up dancing before the Lord.

Yesterday I received Peter Wagner's newsletter in it there was an article by Jim Chosa, a Chippewa Indian. It was entitled " Unveiling the Queen of Heaven's Oppression of First Nations People." Here is some of his article:
" The Queen of Heavens connection to sorrow is revealed by her manifestations as the goddess Isis, which means " she who weeps", and then by another title (The Mother of Sorrows.) She commonly appears today mimicking a weeping mother. When the curse of sorrow is not removed from the soul it becomes a stronghold of sorrow that then becomes a command center for evil. This hidden sorrow of the soul can only be seen in the light of the Gospel of Grace. For first Nation People, sorrow is not only an individual issue it is also a major issue embedded in the soul of the tribes. Understanding this, the evil one uses the sorrowful memories of the individual to promote and image of God where He is either "mad or sad."  Should an individual turn to Jesus Christ and this sorrow
is not removed, it will continue to give access to the deceiver. The believer relating to the law, vainly tries to live, obey, and serve God out of his own strength and effort rather than the grace of God. The Queen of Heaven is a master of setting up and imposing on man restrictive and religious rules, rituals and laws. This is her covert purpose: to deceive man into idolatry where man sets himself up as " god " in his own eyes.
Using covetousness and greed, the false self-image becomes the idol of worship (Col 3:5). Man, therefore unknowingly worships the power behind this false image, and Satan achieves his desire to be god. A Biblical look at sorrow reveals it's evil effects (Ps 18:4-5) The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me. ( Prov. 14:12-13) there is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Even in laughter the  heart is sorrowful: and the end of that mirth is heaviness. This is a true picture of The Native American. Most every face filled with sadness and sorrow. A mother came to my door asking for prayer for her 18 yr old son. He is very
despondent and ask them to take him to a doctor. He said he wanted to harm every child he looked at. This is a spiritual thing and he needs deliverance. It is the spirit mentioned above. It not only is working among the Indians, it's every where causing violence. We must pray."

It was a joy to be in some of the churches at home to know they pray for us and to see and hear all God is doing through them.
Prayer Requests:

Please keep our staff in prayer. They are all very special. Ute, Jack, Paul, Lynn, Al, Delores, Jessie, David and Marvin. Each one is special in his own way doing what God has called them to do. Doing a wonderful job here at CFAN. Please pray for Ray. He is still a very vital part of our ministry

MARCH 2001 NEWSLETTER

Dear Beloved Ones:

We have so many things to thank the Lord for let me began with a bit of news about our new road. For those of you who will be coming our way expect delays because of construction. Also Hwy. 44 is no longer Hwy. 44 it has been changed to 550 because interstates have three digits. We receive a newsletter
periodically with and update on the construction. It was so positive and good I wanted to share it with you. I quote:

"When we started working with the communities along the NM 44 corridor a couple of years ago, we asked  what you thought was most important about this project. Time and time again, one of the responses was "Safety". We heard so many stories about accidents and close calls that it seemed like everyone who drove NM44 had a story to tell. The story that probably affected us the most was the one about residents sporting bumper stickers that read "pray for me - I drive NM44." Well maybe there should be a new bumper sticker that says something like "envy me - I Drive NM 44" because in November, 2000 there were no private vehicle accidents in the 109-mile construction zone of NM 44 None, zip, zero, zilch, nada."

I have been in many prayer meetings where prayer went up for the curses to be removed from this highway. We believe they have now been broken. We will have a safe highway to travel on.

However we need much prayer. Seems the devil is defeated in one area then pops his head up in another. It's been a long time since we've had anything stolen and "wham" some one stole our old yellow truck tore both it's tires up then put a few bullet holes in it. A few days later someone stole about $400.00 worth of Marvin's and David's tools from David's truck.

We need much prayer for our students and the staff that works with them. They come under heavy attack. One of our most precious teachers confessed at devotions the other morning she was praying, "Lord if you want to just take me on home." We presently are dealing with some boys who we have had to send for drug tests. We pray they come back negative so we don't have to expel them. The Academy is based on a School of Excellence and we can not keep students that break the rules. One of our heart desires is that God will give, us through some one, land far enough away from the Academy to not effect our children here. Land for a school for troubled students, and then He also would send us some more wonderful people and we could start another school for students with these kind of problems. They are precious children just messed up.

MINISTRY:

Jack and Ute bring good reports from the work at Day Mesa Baptist where they go once a month. We hope to have a big revival in June at this church and covet your prayers for a great move of The Holy Spirit that will change lives and the community.

Paul and Ray have been teaching at CWC. We went to church there the other night and a dear elderly lady came walking up with her shepherd stick in her hand. She is a regular to these Bible Studies. She said I started walking at 5pm . It was now 7pm. I was shocked. Then she said; It's because of something in here, laying her hand on her heart. She said; I had to come and hear the Word of God. I was so blessed because this is very unusual for the Navajo. God is moving at CWC.

Yesterday morning Rena gave a testimony. She said they had purchased several items at a store and one of them was a vacuum cleaner. When they got out of the store they had not been charged for the VC. Now Larry was happy and wanted her to count it as a blessing . Rena has been in the word and growing in the Lord for years and was much convicted. Even the children were saying daddy this is wrong. Praise God they went back a day or two later and took the money. We are so thankful for the fruit we are seeing in these we have worked with so long. God is a rewarder of all of our good deeds. Rena has prayed for her family for years in tears. Yesterday her brother and sister-in-law gave their heart to Jesus. They said they were close to Bloomfield and decided to turn around and come to church. I believe because of her faithfulness with the vacuum cleaner God rewarded her. He love us so much and wants us to see and know  we can trust Him.

Thanks to Delores and Al who came and stayed with our live-in students in my absence. Delores is teaching Ephesians at CWC.

Marvin and David are working at Navajo houses and doing whatever is needed.

VISITORS:

My precious granddaughter Jessica came to visit. I covet your prayers for her and her husband Trevor. We all know Satan is out to destroy marriages, homes and all good Godly relationships.

Danny, Leah and  two of my precious grandsons. Daniel and Drew came they took Ray and I up for a very enjoyable overnight trip to a Ski Resort. Ray and I did not ski. But we sure enjoyed watching them come flying down on theirs.

Terry and Betty Beatty two of our special friends and board members. They build us up and support us in so many ways. They are true blue missionaries going overseas regularly and we are always blessed when they have time for a visit with us.
