Christ For All Nations June 2009

It
is hard for me to believe I have been here over 2 months. I
have seen God doing more in these two
months than in the last two years while I was in Dallas. The wonderful
group of students from Christ for the Nations
Bible college in Dallas, Texas just
left after 19 days of the most
intense ministry and service on the reservation I believe any group
could have done (physically or spiritually).
I guess the thing that touched me more than anything
was to see young Navajo men crying real tears of sorrow and
repentance. I watched as the students would go out in groups
and minister one on one praying and reading scriptures with them. I
know there are some changed families on the reservation after these 3 weeks of
ministry with the students. After one of our Tuesday night services
I had an elderly Navajo Preacher come up to me and say he thanks God daily for
the Missionaries that came long ago to tell his people about Jesus. He
said that was how he found out about Jesus.
When he said that I thought about Mom and all the years she was out here. I know there are
Navajos in heaven and that will be
going to heaven that heard about Jesus from Mom and
the love she showed them. I want to
take just a line or two to tell about some of the needs we have here.
We are furnishing groceries for about 170
families monthly through our Food Bank but we are having to turn folks away because we just are not able to buy
enough and get enough donated to feed anymore. We are also doing a lot of
repair on homes (what they call homes), and helping some churches with roof
repair and water. There are so many needs here and I know we can't meet all of
them but we are going to try. We also use a lot of fuel traveling across the
reservation providing transportation to our services here
at CFAN and to go get medicines in town. There is a lot of cost to do
these things and praise God he is
furnishing our needs. Please pray
that God will send even more so we
can help more needy than we are now.
There is not enough time to tell you everything that we do or that
we are seeing happen but believe me when
I say God is moving in a mighty way
and he is letting us be a part of what I believe is the last days to
tell about Jesus and bring more into his Kingdom. You know we don't have to go
to another state or country to tell someone about Jesus or to help the needy.
My question today is how many of us are
telling our neighbors about Jesus or helping someone in need. There
isn't a lot of time left for us to proclaim Gods love. Please keep us in your prayers.

I
was blessed to attend a meeting in Leesville, LA at House
of Blessings. David Van Kovering was the speaker.
He is a Scientist teaching Quantum Physics.
Now I understand more fully why it is so important to only
speak positive words. These were his words, "You are more than just a body,
your spirit its intent, your words and observation causes your God potential
through prayer in Jesus name to become your reality!"
(sounds like faith to me). I then attended The National Day of Prayer at The
Town Hall in Ball, LA. A pastor recognized me, introduced me, then asked me to share a little about our
work. Another lady recognized me and has invited me to share about CFAN on the
radio. I was invited to share with the Heart of Worship Mission Team that will
be going to Lybrook in July. This will be their first time to go there and
they were excited. I also attended a wonderful Ladies meeting where Dr. David
Remerios' wife was the speaker. I am
looking forward to visiting in other homes and churches soon. I do have to
limit my travels as the years seem to slow us down but I received a word from
Bro Van that I would live at least 20 more years. That will be fine if all my
faculties and strength to care for myself
is there. If not, I'd just soon go to be with my Lord. I had a wonderful
Mothers day seeing all my children but Ray but he called me.
I am enjoying attending my old home church Alpine in Tioga. The Church where
most of my children made their profession's of faith. So many of my prayer partner friends.
I have made three trips to
Israel. I placed my prayers in the little cracks on the wall ( along with the
other Jew's). One of my prayers
were for CFAN to be an effectual ministry for our Lord. When I talk to Ray and
hear all the things they are doing and the things God
is doing. I am so blessed. My dreams and visions are coming to pass. My prayer
and prayers of many others for CFAN are being answered.
I really miss the Navajo's.
Please keep Vangie in prayer. She began Chemo today for cancer. Her daughter
graduates Friday. She has
three other children in school and her husband is in prison. Rosita has
depression to the point of threatening suicide. I've talked with
her and she is better. Pray for Rena and the group from CWC that will soon be
going to New Life in AR to hold a VBS. Please keep
Myra in prayer also as she has began a new round of Chemo.

Testimony from Mission Team Member God is such a
good God as we all know, so many times we get busy in
life and forget the needs of people right here in America. God has
continued to show me grace and mercy and opened my eyes again. The
Navajo people are so precious, God loves them just as he loves us
all, but like any reservation, the demonic powers keep people shadowed
from the True Light which is Jesus Christ. Alcohol and drugs grip
so many people along with depression and quarrels, the Navajo people need
to hear the truth to set them free. It was such a blessing to be able to minister alongside of Daniel and his family. They
are truly out here for the Glory of God; planting seeds, watering,
tilling, and harvesting soils for the Kingdom of God. What stood out
to me most was the religious spirit of America, even on the
reservations. As Christians we can all get caught up in doing ministry
but missing the relationship with God through Christ. If no one goes to
share the truth, how are people like the Navajo's going to hear the truth
to set them free. Plus, those who know Jesus, but are stuck in sin—who
will stand with them in prayer and encourage them to walk with Jesus so they will be holy by a new nature? I saw people changed
wile CFNI was here, not by what we did, but by the power of
the Living God working through us. This touched my heart like Peter getting caught fishing after Christ rose from the dead. If you Love
Me, feed my sheep. So many times we want to be back where we
are comfortable instead of on the mission field. God is calling you!
Thanks to God, CFNI, Daniel & his family, and Esther for helping
me understand love again.

Mission Team—Christ For The Nations
WOW! What a month. We saw lives changed,
people healed, set free, and delivered. We had the pleasure of starting our summer groups off with 13 young men & women from Christ For The Nations Bible College. We held 6 services in the first 5 days
plus worked on trimming trees here on the
base! In all, the team did 21 services and
did raw evangelism in unreached areas of the reservation. They led
the worship, they had skits, dramatism, testimonies
and gave the message as well as
altar calls for all the services they
were involved in. It was a joy watching
them prepare, and complete what
God had put on their heart each night. The passion they bought with
them and the passion that God increased
in them while here in the base blessed us all in a mighty way.
We prayed, worked, ministered and fellowshipped
together. As my wife and I stop to
reflect on this past month, we realized
that one of Lazelle's visions for CFAN had come to fruition this
month. CFAN and CFNI working together
meeting physical and spiritual needs of the Navajo people! Please
pray that this relationship will continue
to grow and through Kingdom cooperation, by pooling our resources
together, we will be able to reach
the entire reservation with the truth of the Gospel!
Please pray that the team would have a
smooth transition back to life outside of
the mission field. That they would keep their love and passion for
the mission field and fulfill their
calling that the Lord has placed in
their hearts.

Praise
Report! Ray
Powell
Where do we start!!!! God has been
moving in a mighty way here in New Mexico. We
have had so many opportunities to minister to the needs of the people in
this area. First, we were asked by a church
behind us to come and minister at a funeral for a 17 yr old young man
that was killed in a car wreck. Many of his
friends are drug or alcohol addicted. There
were about 300 at this funeral and the staff of CFAN got to tell them about Jesus and lead
some to Christ. It was an
all day event and there was a mighty move of God. Then,
the same week, we ministered in a nursing home in Farmington and had a
powerful move of God. The Activities Director stated she had never seen such
participation from the patients and we were encouraged
to come back soon. We go there now 2 times a month. Next, we had a meeting with
the School Board and they are considering giving us the use of the closed
School in Lybrook. While at the
meeting Daniel talked to the Principal of Lybrook
School and she will allow (wants) us
to come and have the general assembly on May 18th. Our summer groups
will have the opportunity to go since the school is going
to year round classes because of the needs of the children in this area. She stated
that most don't get proper meals at
home, don't have decent clothes to wear, and have no support at home to
even want to learn. We are going to
get involved in taking care of some of
these needs! God is opening doors daily
here so keep us in your prayers
that we would continue to have the staff and monies to meet these needs. The
seeds have been planted over the
years by Mom and all of you faithful
supporters are sharing in the Harvest with us. Praise God for all He is doing!

Peace
of mind—knowing there will be food on the table
Food
& Hygiene Distribution
Our food distribution
program is feeding between 50 and 60 families
per week. This number is growing weekly and we expect
it to continue to grow. Our new distribution center will be the old Lybrook
elementary school. Along with our food distribution, we distribute
clothes and various hygiene items. We need funds to keep up with the growing demand for food and supplies. A load of supplies
can be purchased for $2500. This load
is filled with enough supplies to help 2500 families.
We are presently raising funds to
purchase a load and restock our warehouse. Will you consider sponsoring a load?

From
Our Founder
Lazelle Powell
Death
and destruction are all around us. Tornadoes, Earthquakes, Family’s are
killing each other, Terrorist, Sickness, Disease. We are watching our nation
die. Jesus came to give us life an abundant life. During these troubled times we
need to meditate on things just, pure, lovely, good reports, things of virtue
and praiseworthy. Phil. 4:8
There
is a secret place with God and He instructs us to dwell there. Ps. 9:1
God
wants us to put all our trust and our faith in Him because His plans for us are
always good. Jeremiah 29:11.
He
alone can give us that peace that will surpass our understanding.
We
are living in perilous times. But because of Christ we say. Oh; death where is
thy sting? Oh grave; where is thy victory?
Jesus
said; let not your heart be troubled. No matter what you are facing, let this be
a day of new hope. Looking forward to the things above where eye hath not seen
nor ear heard but God has revealed them to us through HIS SPIRIT. 1 Cor. 2:9
Lazelle
Powell, our founder, plowed this ground for 26 years. Her work would not
have been possible without your prayers and financial support. We are
seeing a harvest along with greater need. The economy is suffering and so are
God’s people. As you know, we still need spiritual and financial covering. We
have listed our more pressing needs and ask you to continue to pray and seek the
Lord’s face on how He would have you to help. We praise God for your continued
support. Without you this work and coming harvest of souls would not be
possible.

Do You Know God?
If my people who are called by my
name will humble themselves,
pray, and seek my face, I will hear from heaven, and come and heal their land.
II Chronicles 7:14.
We believe revival is coming! Revival
starts with prayer. Revival
starts with reverence to our creator. We
just started a brand new series on Tuesday
nights called Creation to Christ. We
are rededicating our commitment to
discipleship here on the reservation
and believe that by equipping God's people,
they will begin to walk out there
faith.
Norvan and Helen will be teaching the
first section of the book. Helen taught
the first lesson last week entitled "Who
God is!" Many of us know
things about God, but how many of
us truly know Him? This
week’s lesson is on Angels, demons, and creation. Helen
will be laying foundational truths that
we will be able to build on as we
teach our way through the Bible. Norvan
will be teaching on "The
fall" and explaining the choice to disobey God
Adam & Eve made. Will you
pray that the Holy Spirit would
speak through the Arnolds' as they
teach God's word? Pray our Navajo
brothers and sisters will receive the teaching and begin to call upon our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. Pray that they
would begin to respect our creator
and revival would sweep across our land!
For
all those who have not heard. My prayers have been answered and my son Ray will
be taking my place in New Mexico serving as
the new Administrator of Christ for All Nations. He will be moving to New Mexico
around the 9th of April. The years of training he has received here at CFNI has
equipped him for the ministry at CFAN. We believe this is a perfect
timing of God. With the economy like it is, and the ministry
he is already involved in, " Helping Hands Ministry. " Soon there will
be a great need of Joseph ministries
around the world. Throughout the ages, God has shown through His Holy Word that
he has a will, and a purpose; and a
plan to deliver his people from the hand of the enemy. God sovereignty saved the
children of Israel from starvation and ultimate extinction during the times of
famine and economic disorder by
raising up Joseph to a position where he could not only meet their temporal
needs but minister to their spiritual needs.
Leaders
of other nations are saying the US budget is paving the way to hell for America.
That is a strong
word. Prophets have been saying for a long time judgment is coming to America. When
a democracy begins to vote themselves money from the public treasure. The next
move always is dictatorship.
Prepare
yourself, your family and those around you spiritually for what promises to be a
"wilderness experience" for most. Begin to ask the Lord for wisdom in
everything you under take to do. Use your
preparedness, like Joseph, to minister to the temporal needs of those not
prepared and use that and every opportunity to share the gospel.
A
scripture to hold onto in these trying times. Ps. 84:5 - 7,
5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you who have set their hearts on
pilgrimage. As they
pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn
rains also
cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength,
We
need to give much thought to
the question The Lord ask us in Psalms 95;16 Who will rise up for me against the
evil doers,
or who will stand with me against the workers of iniquity?
Thank
you again for your gifts this month. We pray great blessings upon you and covet
your prayers
for CFAN.

Thessalonians 19:23 May God
himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole
spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24The one who calls you
is faithful and he will do it.
Many
today struggle with sin in their life and they think. I cant live for God. There
is no way I can live a righteous,
holy victorious life. That is just a lie from satan. Read the above verse, Jesus
who calls us is faithful and his power
that works in us will do it. Many live in fear today. More and more committing
suicide they have lost their jobs
" have been laid off " or lied, stole, deceived people and now they
think there is no way out. More and
more want a band-aid fix. So they will put their trust in government instead of
God. Government stimulus package they
think will save them. It is a real joke. They should try Gods Stimulus Package
it will never fail. His funds will never run out. His provision will always be
there for those who truly call upon
His name. His love, mercy and forgiveness flows like a river from The Throne
Room calling out to all who will come and be washed as white as snow. For there
is no sin to big that God will not forgive it. Nothing
is Impossible with God.
God has
called you and I for such a time as this.
God
is answering our prayer; Today Ray is in Lybrook with a lovely family who will
soon be joining the other workers
there. They are a family of six.
We are
praying for a big harvest. Many of you have labored in Lybrook and in lots of
other places and your labor has gone
unnoticed but I say to you it is not unnoticed by the one it matters to. I
believe in heaven you will see many
times over and be rewarded for things you thought no one was aware you did. God
saw it all along and wrote it in a book. So remember your labors are never in
vain.
We thank God every time we look around the ministry and think of all of you.
God Bless you and Thank You.
Love you
All
Lazelle
Please,
Please keep CFAN and all the staff and our Navajo people in your prayers.
I
heard a group of businessmen on TV last night and they said they believe God is
raising up Joseph's today and
positioning them. I believe that is true. May we all be listening for His voice.

| The Family of six that will soon be joining Larry and the others at CFAN soon. We have prayed and prayed for more laborers. God is so good. | Ray & Daniel unloading the truck in Lybrook. |
Teresa
Neumann (January 4, 2009) “Live generously and God’s love will be evident in
your life.” Contemplating setting goals for 2009?
The
Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has some ideas: live generously, reflect
all year long, and grow closer to God.” A list of resolutions can lead to
discouragement if the goals prove too difficult to maintain. After all, lasting
change begins in a person’s heart- not on a numbered list of piece of
paper,” writes Ann Marie Chilton for the BGEA website. “If people are
generous with their time, generous with their money, and generous with their
belongings, then it’s easy for other to see Christ’s love lived out through
their lives. Chilton advises Christians to memorize portions of the Word of God
and spend time with Him daily by setting a devotional prayer time every morning.
I thought these words were worth sending out. You may not be able to always keep
resolutions but giving, reading the word, praying should not be options. They
are necessities in our walk with Christ.
THANKS
TO EVERYONE WHO SO GRACIOUSLY GAVE TO CFAN THIS YEAR.
We had a wonderful year. You gave more than I could ever imagine. We were able to reach people in different areas. Thanks go to Larry, David, and Norvan. We know we could be reaching deeper into the reservation with a larger number of qualified teachers. Pray with us as we continue to search for additional staff to over see and work in Lybrook. Time is so short and we know God is bringing ministries together to be more effective for His Kingdom. I feel so humble to be a part of such an awesome work and I never want us to fail to accomplish all God has on His agenda for CFAN. I believe we have entered a time on God’s calendar when the unusual will be the norm. God’s people will be known, not only by the love we will have one for the other but the signs and wonders performed in our midst. One of my sayings is, God took me to Lybrook a widow woman who had nothing and could do little. All he wants from any of us is to talk to a stranger on the street or to begin a ministry. HE IS GOD. Thanks to all of you again for your continued support and prayers. You are the reason we are still doing what God wants us to do. Acts 28:31 We are still permitted to preach The Kingdom of God, and teach the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no man forbidding us.
The
Navajo Nation will soon be closed to The Gospel of the Lord Jesus unless God
intervenes.

Praise
The Lord. Marlene Yazzie, the young lady we were praying for to become Secretary
at the Counselor Chapter House was elected. She was voted in last week. This
should open a door for us to minister there again.
Rena
said, They had a great Christmas at CWC the usual hay ride, caroling and giving
out presents, which we always supply them with. Thanks again to all of you.
I
know Larry and Tamara blessed some of the churches with their beautiful music.
David
Beaver is teaching and helping at Trujillo’s Church. Jenny’s sister Elisha
has taken her place in church leadership and works well with David and CFAN.
I
have need of very few things here but God is so good. I have a little walk to
the washateria. I ask a neighbor if she knew a place I could purchase a basket
with wheels to push my laundry in. She said that someone just moved and left her
one. She did not need it and she gave it to me. Before we even ask, He has
whatever it is we need.
Two
of my Board members will be joining me on a trip to Lybrook in February. I am
really looking forward to that. I speak to my friends there often but it is not
like seeing them face-to-face.
MY
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS AT HOME
I
can’t begin to tell you how great it was to spend time with all my family and
not be in a big hurry. I am enjoying living on the campus of CFNI with Ray my
oldest son. He is a blessing and watches over me. He stays very busy wearing
many hats with his job here at CFNI. Then he has his growing ministry, Helping
Hands on the side.
I
visited Ray’s children Jeff, Karen and son Trent. Jeff works for the
Department of Treasury in Washington. Karen is a nurse practitioner and they
reside in Virginia. I don’t get to see them often because of the distance.
They came home to Louisiana for Christmas.
Gary
is Service Manager for the Ford Co. and Ashley is an advisor with Reed and Reed
Investors. My Grandchildren are Haley and Brody.
Max

and take care of her. God has been so good to show his compassion and love to
them in many ways, drawing them closer to Him during this trying time. They stay
busy babysitting grandchildren.
Amy
works at the Ball Community Center. Her husband, Chris is a salesman for Floors
Unlimited. Their children are Elizabeth and Hunter. The doctor has diagnosed
Hunter as being autistic. We pray as he gets older all the problems will be
gone.
Jessica

children.
Tim
and Lisa: Tim stays very busy at the Meineke Muffler Shop, which he owns and
operates. Lisa works at WalMart. Lee Ann works in Baton Rouge and Blake is going
all over the country playing his drums with Altard Band.
Drew
is a senior at McKinney North High School and ranked 4th out of 398
seniors. Drew will attend Texas A&M University at College Station, Texas in
the Fall. He will be majoring in Biomedical Engineering. For the past three
years Drew has played for the Bulldawg Varisty Tennis Team. Daniel a junior
attending classes at CCCD plans to transfer to University of North Texas in the
fall and major in Marketing. Daniel also works full time at Countrywide Mortgage
Corporate Offices. He also plays on a men’s tennis league in his spare time.
I
have listed 7 children, 5 spouses, 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Seven is a perfect number I feel God has given me the beautifully perfect
family, five times over. They are each unique and very special.

OUR
ECONOMY
As
Children of God it is so good to know, Our economy is good, very good. It is
never the same as that
of the world but of The Kingdom of God. He supplies all our needs according to
HIS RICHES IN GLORY
THROUGH CHRIST JESUS.
We
are reminded by God to pray for this worlds system and its leaders.
1
Tim 2: 1,2 I exhort therefore, that, first of
all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made
for all men For kings, and [for] all that are in authority; that we may lead a
quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty For kings, and [for] all that
are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all
godliness and honesty
Proverbs 21: 1,2
1. The
king's heart [is] in the hand of the LORD, [as] the rivers of water: he turneth
it whithersoever he will. Remember he guided David’s heart but he also
guided Pharoh’s.
Prov. 28
He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth
his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
9. He that turneth away his ear from hearing
the law, even his prayer [shall be] abomination.
10.
Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself
into his own pit: but the upright shall have good [things] in possession.
As
Children of God we are aware of the choice America made during the election. Never
in the 2008 years of America have we been where we are today.
The most liberal president we can
imagine. Now most Congress and Senators, leaders of our country
will go right along with his plans of abortion, same sex marriage, freedom of
speech (only to those who say what they want
to hear,) one thing being there is no God or it doesn’t matter who you worship for there are many gods. Are we now writing the last
pages of history for the United States?
It behooves us brethren to take inventory of our lives. Ask God what will He
have us do at this time of history.
When we stand before Him what can we say we have done on His behalf.
Larry
and Tamara took off for Ark. On the morning of Oct 23 in the lovely Excursion we
have purchased for his use at the ministry. Thank you for making this
possible. They had with them
three Navajo,s. Pastor Jerry Domingo, his daughter Geraldine, Irene Augustine
and her daughter Rosita. Rosita is one of our
license ministers. They shared in music, testimony and the word in three
churches. It is so good to see our Navajo,s going out and ministering. Pastor Moore shared with me they had a great move of
the Holy Spirit when Larry & Tamara ministered in music.
Every time I hear from CWC the are having sales and doing all kind of things to
raise money for their trip in June to
minister in the white mans Church. I tell them how proud and thankful
I am to see what they are doing. They have been over helping our staff get all
our Christmas gifts separated and ready for our big Christmas
Service’s.
Maybe
some of you still want to do something for the Navajo. CFAN will be going to The
Counselor Chapter House for a Christmas Service since we have Marlene coming to
our Tuesday night services and she is on staff at the Chapter House she has
opened this door again for us. Praise The Lord. This means we will need lots
more of all of the gifts, candy, fruit and nuts. Christmas is such a fun time on the
reservation. I will really miss it.
They are fixing our
bags for Thanksgiving dinner, turkey and all the trimmings at this time. We
are so blessed to have all of our staff working together to fulfill the vision
of Christ For All Nations.

Marie Williams from Alexandria, La came and spent nearly a month with me she was so he1pful. She was able to see many Navajo and renew friendships. Marie and her late husband Bennie used to minister here on the reservation.
Buddy and Jan Greer then came out for a few days. It is always good to have them praying on our Mesa's.
The Feast of Tabernacles
This
year was so special in many ways. We had both Larry and Tamara's parents and
some of their children plus a wonderful group of youth from Durant Oklahoma with
us, (Larry's former Church) came to
help. We had lots of beautiful praise and worship and the youth brought a powerful message through a skit.
Speakers at the Feast were Buyck
and Jan McGowan, Stan & Jackie Jacobson, Pastor Schrock,
Judah (a
young Jewish man), Cornelious & Deborah Perez missionaries in Singapore
and Alila Vito President of a Christ For The Nations Bible College in Nagaland. it truely was the
most informative meeting we have ever had on
The Feast of The Lord.
Our staff built several Succot's on our campus and the people braved the cold winds to go to each booth and be taught Our buildings were filled with beautiful worship and praise to Our Lord. The Navajo always look forward to Buyck’s delicious Briskets and sausage. Larry & Tamara's parents and the staff worked hard in the kitchen and prepared a feast.
I celebrated my 82nd birthday Sept.9 and each day looking foreword to going South be with my children. The Navajo continually ask me if this is hard and I have tell them no. I will miss them and love visits back to see them but God has given me perfect peace knowing some one much younger than l can take over the humongous task of overseeing CFAN.
It
has been a wonderful chapter in my book of life the that I will always remember
and cherish. I thank God for every day He
allowed me to work in the field
for HIM. I
love the Navajo
and will be working from my
home front on their behalf.
Oct. 18, Two of my son's Ray
& Max came
and finished loading Ray's trailer with
my things and
on the 19th we drove to
Dallas Texas. !t has
been wonderful getting settled in with
their help and my and my daughter Leah
who is only 30 minutes away. God is so good
and I’m
here waiting on my next assignment from The Master.
Thank
all of you for your continued support to CFAN. We must keep the
ministry lifted up in prayer
and financial support. God has much for us to do for The Indian peopie.
Lets not neglect them.
“Direct
my thoughts, words, work wash away my sins in the immaculate Blood of the Lamb,
and purge my heart by the Holy spirit…. Daily frame me more into the Likeness
of Thy Son Jesus Christ”

Dear Ones,
Here we are again another month has passed and it has been good and busy. God
is so amazing. He shows his love for us in so many ways. When I came home from
the
rehab of course I needed some help. We hired a lady (Helen, one of our staff))
the first few weeks, then some of my family came, then our groups started
coming in and each group
fed and helped me with housekeeping and other things. Then a friend from La. Marie
Williams came. Each person and group has been wonderful and I saw the hand of God
watching over me. Thank all of you again for your prayers. I am excited about
going to
Dallas. I know I will be back here in NM a lot but feel good and will be
working hard wherever
am on behalf of The Navajo people. We have a great work of on in Lybrook, NM lets stand behind Larry and Tamara and assure the Indians we are not
leaving them. Our teachings will continue on a regular basis by the staff here and
as many of you come out to help us.
COMMITMENTS
Sam Willis of
DeQueen, Arkansas has been a member of the New
Life Church Mission Team for several years now. His Pastors, Lankford & Mary Alice Moore strive to send young "Spiritual Heroes”
to New Mexico to be an example to the young people there. Sam his always been an
incredible team member.
This year, Sam’s baseball team won the right to go to the
World Series and his position was the pitcher, but he had already committed to the trip to New
Mexico. Instead of breaking his commitment, he told his team and coaches that
he couldn't go with them because he had already made a commitment to the Lord. The
coach told Sam that he would personally pay for his airline ticket to the game
and on to New Mexico but Sam told him that he didn't believe interrupting the
trip would be totaly keeping his commitment They even had
all the new uniforms made and they had to recruit a new pitcher from a rival community to take Sam's place. Everyone that heard this witness
is so proud of Sam for putting the work of the Lord first. It is an example to
the young people as well as many adults who struggle in the area of
commitment.
Another
commitment I’d
like to mention. Buyck McGowan, one of our Board members, came out this month. He told of the
struggle
he had as the devil tried to get him to visit a casino on his way. He passed many
on his trip and each time he had a
choice to make. "will
I yield to this temptation or will I do what Jesus would do".
Praise God he passed them all
up and had a testimony to share.
God is raising and army of believers who will be strong in the Lord. We are in what the Apostle Paul called perilous
times. The question
asked is,
if we can't run with the chariots, how
will we run with the horses.
Andy
and Geraldine Jackson a lovely Navajo couple I joined in marriage in May 07.
She was a believer always witnessing and praying. She often called me for
prayer or advice. Her husband had accepted the Lord before their marriage. His
family were in the
Navajo religion (peyote). She called a few weeks ago and was very concerned
she had blacked out while driving and felt like it was a spiritual attack from the enemy because of a
prayer meeting she had gone to on behalf of his family. We prayed together and
she travailed in prayer. The next day she went to the Burger King ate her meal
got up to leave and fell over and she was gone.
The
Dr's did and autopsy and found no cause for her death. Andy called me after
her funeral and he is so upset. Being a new Christian he has many questions and pains that only Jesus
can heal and answer. He lives in Albuquerque. I went to a church very close to
their house after his call and requested someone to visit him and minister to
him. They have assured me they will. It is to far for us to go to be with him much. He really needs
your prayers. He told me she was such a good person always talking to people
about the Lord and he had become a believer and would continue to do as she
had taught him.

Pray
for us as we prepare for The Feast of Tabernacles Oct 10th and 11th,
and Christmas.
These are two very big and costly events. Many people are touched with
the Love of Christ.
Jesus
will never run for president of the USA but as Christians we are commissioned
to vote for the most moral candidate that is running. Lets all remember this as we go to the
polls.
Remind
your Church to join the more than 200,000 churches in 175 nations who will
participate in the largest Israel-focused prayer event in history. On October
5, 2008 this year, and continuing on
the first Sunday of every October.
PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM: ‘May they prosper who
love you.”
We have had sere
wonderful teachings and services lately. God is speaking to the men today in a
special way to
be a covering for
their families. Read the Bible to your family, pray for
your family while you still have the privilege.
Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man. Who
walks not in the counsel
of the ungodly
but his delight is
in the Law of The Lord and in His Law doth he meditate both
day and night. He
shall be like a tree planted by the waters. His leaves will not wither and
everything he does will prosper.
The
Law, The Torah, The ten Commandments were read every seventh year t r all the
people in Israel
then at The Feast of Tabernacles it was read to all the people in seven days. It
is just as important today to Christians as it was then. We must read and
meditate upon Gads
word to receive
his blessings.
I
love you aIl.
Lazelle
Wow, this year is swiftly becoming history. God alone knows
what’s in store for America in 2009. Only time will tell. We know we must be a
people of prayer. There is much to be done before Christ returns. The question
is, will He find us faithful?
Thanks to all of you who have been standing in prayer for a
speedy recovery after the fall which broke my hip. The medical professionals may
be amazed, but we know the Source of our healing.
We have been as busy as ever this summer with wonderful
people coming to bless and they leave finding themselves having been blessed.
Leon DeHaan and his wife Audrey brought a group of students from Resurrection
Life Bible School to hold VBS at a church in Kimbeto. They were kind enough to
do some work on the CFAN grounds also. Bro. Leon wanted them to experience the
mission field. You don’t have to go over seas. We have one of the ripest
mission fields in the entire world.
David and Dee Beaver arrived the first week in July. A
Cherokee from Oklahoma, David is answering a call he’s felt for many years, to
share with his brothers, the message of Christ. His songs and teaching show them
the One True God.
Castlewood Canyon Church was a part of our outreach for the
first time this summer. Interestingly, one of the young ladies who came on the
trip was named Lezelle. Probably a once in a lifetime experience, Three
Lazelle’s together at one time. We’re grateful Jackie Jacobson introduced
CFAN to Pastor Jack and the wonderful group he brought from Colorado. People
were encouraged in both the Nageezi and Lybrook areas by the words they shared.
Louis and Judy Boyd, who live in northeast Texas, arrived just as they were
leaving. Louis and Judy, along with several members of the staff here, held VBS
at Pine Lake Church in Counselor.
My daughter Leah Bedgood and grandson Drew were able to come
from Texas and spend a few days with me. They brought Jan McGowan with them.
They cooked and cooked and froze food for me. Drew worked in my yard. Jan stayed
on another week and helped me.
Also traveling from
Texas, were the Whatley family. Caleb
and Joshua helped their dad clean around the
hogan while Marcie did
book-keeping. On July 26th, Brian performed the wedding ceremony of Brian NezBegay
and Michelle Todacheene. Michelle is the daughter of Rena Todacheene, a Navajo pastor who truly has a heart to see
her people come to know Jesus Christ as Lord.
Staff members Larry and
Tamera Hamm received a call with the sad news that a friend had been
killed. They returned to Oklahoma for
the funeral. Once again, we're reminded of the uncertainty of life and how we all need to be ready to meet
our Savior.
As always, we need your prayers as the work continues here in New Mexico. We couldn't do what
God has called us to do without your prayers and support.
Special requests have been
made for these things:
°My continued recovery
°The
Lords direction in every part of the
ministry
°The up coming
elections, both Navajo and national.
The Navajo Nation is trying to make it compulsory to allow
the Navajo religion to be allowed in the Christian Church.
°Turmoil to cease at DZ school parents are very upset with the new administration
°For family members to
come to know and serve the
Lord
°We here at CFAN pray
that each and every one of you “will have your needs met according to His
riches in glory.”
°Pray for Larry, as he will be taking
on more and more of
the responsibilities here at CFAN. He
will be working along side me,
our board.
All of you to help us keep our vision for the salvation
of the Navajo Nation alive and well.
In His Love
Lazelle
Praise
the Lord,
Here
I am
seated with my leg on a pillow thanking God I can walk again, even with a
walker, but I am looking
forward to the
day real soon when I don't need the walker. The Lord has not let me have pity on
me.
Just the beginning of such thought he shows me all the soldiers fighting for my
freedom coming home with
no limbs and all deformed from bombs taken for me & you.
For
those who may not know on the 6th of June. I was going into Red Mesa (the gas
station close to us.) I fell and broke a hip, split the bone.
Then there was and operation and rehab center. I did so well I had to spend only one week in rehab and now
am home and doing well. Thank everyone for your prayers. God is so good
and He is answering them.
I
thank God again for the help we have now. Larry, Tamara, Norvan, Helen and then
our Navajo's..
God
knew all this was going to happen and He sent help in time. Helen is
my 24-hour nurse and has been so
helpful always singing the songs she writes which are
beautiful.
We
had our first summer missionaries come in Activation from Colorado, Pastor Dave
& Dee Thompson. They
are always wonderful and from the reports coming in I know heaven came down
& glory filled the tent
as they ministered.
Lucy
Begay one of our Navajo's put together a beautiful Ladies Meeting.
Decorations, food, she took care of everything and planned the whole meeting. The speakers.
Dee Dee Thompson, Tamara, Helen and some
of our Navajo ladies, Marlene, Lydia and Rena My staff said it was a very
special meeting. Then
Harvest Time Bro Shinn & wife Jearldean with some very special ladies
came and had our first VBS.
I am
still receiving good reports from the Navajo. They are very thankful for all the
groups that come out
in the summer,
Bro
David Thompson and Bro. Jerry Shinn was so sweet to bring services to me
in the rehab center & in my
home. I was so blessed by the & their ministry and beautiful music
Today
a couple of our Navajo ladies came and sang their beautiful songs
and we just had church. I have to
be healed fast with all this ministry. He sent his word and healed them.
I
was also blessed with having my son's Ray and Timothy and my daughter's Leah and
Myra come to be with me
a few days.
We all
have been in a place where we ask the question WHY LORD). I guess that is where
I am now. God is the only
one that can answer that for me and because I know HIM so well I know HE will, One
thing He is working on is humbling me more
showing me His compassion and how I have been lacking
in some of these area's. When you are lying flat on your back looking up for a
period of time and you can't even get your mind to concentrate you
realize how much you need others to be praying for you. Then
you are more thankful than ever for the scriptures you have hidden in your heart
His promises that are never failing
knowing this to will soon end and He
will never leave you nor forsake you.. But please keep me and all CFAN in
your prayers.
Dear
Precious Friends.
Thank you for the lovely
flowers, the phone, calls, the cards, visits and
most of all your prayers. Please know the
work of the Lord is going forth every day by our new staff and I'm now able to
do a little in the office.
Every
group that comes in is unique and special.
We have been working a lot with Jenny Trujillo whose dad passed away and
she was his assistant. Pastor., She
has not been able to cope with the situation, so thank God, we have another
couple who has just came to join us and we are
able to have one of our men minister at that church every
Sunday.
Marlene who has been great help to us is going through a real tough time,
as many people are today, with their children. Her son has been on drugs
and alcohol and some of his so called friends
wanting to kill him. We have a friend with a drug rehab center who has taken him
in three times but he is out again,
please, please pray for him. I also have some grandchildren who have also been
deceived by the devil and are not serving the Lord. They know Jesus and have
asked Him into their heart but are
serving the devil right now We all must get hold of every promise God has
for us for our families and not give up until we see them repenting and
returning to the Father. We need to
satan proof our homes, fill them with
things that invite the presence of Jesus.
Lou Engle and John
Jimminez’s wife were on Benny Hinn. Benny asked Lou what he thought the future
held and he said: he believed the next two years were critical. America will
either turn back to God in repentance and prayer or we are doomed. I believe
they
are calling for a forty day fast and
gathering in Washington on July 16, before the
election. Then there will be another ca to prayer in Washington before the final decision on
the gay issue in California. I
pray every American, every Christian that can go to these meetings will be there. Those of
us
who can't, let’s pray without ceasing for our country.

Dear Saints,
Since we have
had a record amount of snow, tornadoes, floods, hail, then the earthquakes and are wondering what hurricane season might bring. I
thought it might be wise to consider what God's word say's.
He tells us when we see these things to look up for our redemption draws
near.
Ps.
37: 5 God thunders
marvelously with His voice. He say's to the snow fall on the earth,
likewise the gentle rain and the heavy rain, from the south the whirlwinds and from the north the cold, and they swirl about doing whatever He commands
them. Notice verse 13. whether for correction, or for His land or,
for mercy. Ps. 38:
Have you entered the treasury of hail, which I have reserved for the day of trouble.
For the day of battle and war.
I do believe
the world has entered the day of trouble. JERUSALEM
— The Israeli
government estimates Sen. Barack Obama will win the presidential
elections and is rushing to finalize a deal With the Palestinians and possibly Syria before President Bush leaves office,
two top Israeli diplomats told WND.
The diplomats, speaking on condition of anonymity, said
Israel is seeking to create "defensible borders" within months,
fearing if territorial negotiations were held during an
Obama administration, Israel would be pressured into more
dangerous concessions. The election is so soon. No matter who becomes president remember to keep Israel in your
prayers.
Ps
46: Thank God He is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble. We
will not
fear, even though the earth be removed and the mountains be carried into the
midst` of the sea. The Lord of
host is with us the God of Jacob is our refuge.
May
this be our prayer. ( Ps. 17: 15, As for me I will see your face in
righteousness: I
will be satisfied when I awake in your likeness.)
Thank
God for our opportunities here just wish we could fulfill more of them, Thank
God for Larry, Tamara, Analine, Norman &
Helen we are doing more every month. Teaching,
preaching, counseling, fixing flats.
On
the Jewish calendar it is time to celebrate
Pentecost, so we have been offering up
lots of praise to our Lord for all He has done
for us. How we thank Him for The Holy Spirit
Jesus
said: I will not leave you comfortless but I will send the spirit and He will be with you always. It is so
good to know we are never alone.
We love you all and Thank God
for you and your support to CFAN.
We
covet your prayers and appreciate your request for prayer that we always take
before the Lord.
God
Bless you
Lazelle
May made it’s
entrance with ice most every morning and cold all day, Larry was given a nice
wood stove that he put in the trailer, I
thanked God for the two heaters I purchased last year for Shalom and all the
new windows. Hopefully we can get a garden planted soon,
We
have spent a lot of time going over the rooms, getting them ready for summer.
You all know how hard it is to go from
one building to another in winter. Everything just gets all piled up.
Thank
God for Norvan,s truck, He & Larry have been cleaning out our clothing
room and delivering food. It
would be wonderful if we could get the school going again. The school district
called and was very disappointed
that we had closed school. The DZ school had a meeting last night to discuss
what to do about that school. The children are not making the grades and the
last two years have been really bad. The
beautiful Lybrook School we don’t think is any better. In these things we
need to hear from God.
What
to do? How can we help? We had a meeting with Don Compton in Albuquerque. Don
has been in different types of prison
ministry for years. He is the gentleman I purchased Shalom House from. We are
praying we can work with them in the future.
PRAISE REPORT
Everything went well with my daughter The turner was burned out by a radiologist Thank you for your many prayers. Please continue the prayers for her until we have a complete healing. She will continue her treatments Tamara's eyes are much better. We had a strong Navajo Religion worshiper accept Jesus, and lots repented and came forward for prayer when Four Corners Worship Center ministered here. Then when Altard played here and in Shiprock. Again the Holy Spirit moved and many came forward repenting.

and Steve Obanion.
Lazelle
We had a
wonderful service with Robert Tso on Tuesday night, March 6.
Then Deborah
Charley and I left for McKenny TX, where my daughter Leah lives. We thought we
would be greeted by some nice warm weather. The Lord had different plans. It
very seldom snows in Texas. Can you believe it began to snow as soon as we
arrived, big Texas snowflakes. My grandson made a large snowman. (We were
accused of bringing it with us. Maybe there is something to their claim. I
returned to New Mexico on Tuesday afternoon, the sun was shining probably 70%.
The next morning I looked out to snow, today is Thursday and it is still
snowing. We are in a drought and the snow is so dry it is not producing the
moisture we need. Surely it will come.) We had to fly Deborah back I went on to
share with some of our wonderful sponsoring churches and individuals, things God
is doing in Lybrook NM. No matter how many days I take it seems to never be
enough to see all the people I want to visit I want to thank those where I did
go for giving me such a good welcome. We love all of you and know there is no
way we could be ministering to the Navajo people without you. I am thankful for
those who are able to come out on mission trips and work assignments each year.
With high gas prices I know it will get harder but it means so much to us and
the Navajo.
I was blessed to spend some
quality time with my family, I went with Myra, my daughter for her doctor’s
visit. Her reports are good. Pray her strength will return soon. God has
promised strength for each day. Agree with us in prayer for a swift new wind of
His spirit to flow through her body and bring strength and complete healing. I
thank all of you for your prayers for her. As I shared in a few churches I was
burdened to bring a word God lay heavily on my heart. I want to share it with
you. l know The Holy Spirit is speaking this message everywhere. On my trip I
heard the same thing in some pulpits everywhere and on TV. People are asking why
has our country become so liberal. I would like to answer that question. After
creation God found Abraham in a country where everyone was serving other gods.
He separated Abraham from the danger of those gods, later he found Moses and
said to him; l am God worship me there is no other. In Deuteronomy He stressed
to him the need of teaching the people. I am God worship no other God. Here are
my commands to you. Teach them to your children by day and by night Write these
words everywhere that they might see them and hear them continually. Jesus came
and taught, ye must be born again, follow me. The pilgrims came to America to
have the freedom to worship the true God. Greed, lust, perversion soon changed
the heart and they like Aaron instead of doing what they were sent here to do,
soon they had made for themselves many golden calves and now America is
worshiping all the gods the Indians had plus adding many more to their list.
When Paul found himself in a city and saw all the other gods in their life, he
said; I see all these gods you worship, but I have come to tell you about the
one and
only true God. Year after year families began to find other things in their
life more appealing and fell right into the trap satan has set. They have failed
miserable to teach their children, their grandchildren the word of God, His
commands to us. They are too busy making money and having fun just like God said
they would do if they did
not COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE DIFFERENT. Abraham, Moses many others
finished the race well. Where we began on the narrow road with Jesus, do we now find ourselves on the wide road of the world
pleasers in instead
of Christ? Is he lifted up in our home our families. Can our children tell us
more about Hollywood stars than about the one who loved them so much, He died
for them? This is why our government is in such a mess. Today as Christians
let’s look at the candidates through the eyes of Jesus. Go by the standard of
the word of God. If Christians will humble themselves take a stand we can make a
difference and bring change, Change back to One Nation under God. If they are
for homosexuals, abortions, new age, then you be assured they want god out of
everything. Let’s pray and pray for a miracle in the coming election.
Tuesday
Night Service
More people are coming to our
meetings. They are learning the importance of worshiping only The True Jehovah
God.
Please pray for our summer
groups, for CFAN, Larry, Tamara & Analine
as we work together exploring new avenues of service to be more effectual
for our Lord.
I love you all and thank you
with all my heart for your faithful support Please, Please keep me in prayer for
wisdom in making right decisions and giving right counsel.
God Bless you love you

In the Pictures Larry and Marlene are
having a little trouble, he is stuck. It has been very hard trying to make
deliveries or going any where on the reservation because of the roads.
Many of the Navajo’s water lines have
frozen and broke, The Chapter House, praise the Lord has been taking some of
their allotted moneys and hauling water & wood for them. We have and
abundance of food because of you wonderful people that keep sending in food
money.
Thank You,
Our food pantry is running over. Thank Our God of More than Enough.
Someone just gave us a big load of the
Navajo’s favorite beans. (The pinto.)
Deborah had a dream; so many people are
having dreams. In her dream she was in the Dome and she said it was the most
beautiful place. Where the front door is there were curtains with all the colors
of royalty mentioned in the Bible. (The colors on the curtains in the Ark.)
She was walking all over the Dome praying in the Spirit. Then she began
to pray violently. I think this is telling us we will win the battle against all
the demonic spirits that have been here for so long, but we must pray. This is
why CFAN need to be in your prayers every day.
We have always felt CFAN would be a
place of refuge, safety for Gods children. We have seen so many miracles but we
know we have not entered yet into the glory God has for His church. Ephesians
tells us the mystery of His glory His Power will be made known by His church.
(The Pearl of Great Price.) Hallelujah we have so much to look forward to.
This is and excerpt from Charisma’s Editor
“IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME WILL HUMBLE
THEMSELVES AND SEEK MY FACE AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS
THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND
WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND HEAL THEIR LAND. THE LORD HAS BEEN CALLING OUT TO THE
CHURCH TO HUMBLE THEMSELVES. WE THE CHURCH ARE THE ( MY PEOPLE )
AND FOR THE MOST PART WE JUST KEEP GOING ON IN OUR IDOLATRY AND HAVE
PRETTY MUCH REMOVED JESUS AS HEAD OF HIS CHURCH AND MOST CERTAINLY HAVE REMOVED
THE HOLY SPIRIT FROM OUR ASSEMBLIES AND REPLACED HIM WITH PROGRAMS AND FALSE
MANIFESTATIONS.” Much truth in what he says.
THANK
YOU
Because of you we can be here and bring
food, clothing, hope, joy, peace and the love of our Lord
Jesus Christ to this nation of people who are lost and dying everyday
without The Saviour.
Thank you for your faithful support.
May God Abundantly Bless you. You are in our prayers and I am so thankful to
know we are always in yours. God is moving here even with all the bad weathers
and roads. Praise the Lord he keeps blessing and blessing. Our Navajo’s are
growing in the Lord. A Navajo just came to the door to get water it seems the
new pump that provides water for all of them in the back, is broken. Pray for
their water situation and electricity for all of them. We found out during our
water crisis here how hard it is to do without water
We
Love You & Thank You
again
Christ for all nations
January, what a month every day I
thank God for the new windows and heaters we purchased last year.
They have kept us warm in this extremely cold weather.
Even in the cold we have stayed busy. Tamara,
Deborah and I went to Albuquerque to a church service where Congressman Steve
Pearce spoke. He is definitely not
ashamed of the gospel. He shared
his and his wife's testimony of their love for the Lord.
He was able to have a prayer room set aside in the White House for
nothing but prayer meetings. He has a wonderful testimony and is worthy of our votes.
We have invited him to come speak to our Navajo's.
TUESDAY NIGHT
The snow was so deep I could not drive my car to the Fran Roland Building and Larry was gone, I thought oh well, no one will come to service tonight so Analine and I just planned to pray at Shalom House. Soon people began to come in and 14 people crowded into my small living room where we filled it with praise and worship and talked to word.
ANOTHER MIRACLE
A church in Tennessee since sent large donation for Christmas.
The check never reached us so they issued us another, we just received
this one. I have are often if we
would have received it before we may have found other things to spend it on and
we needed now more than ever. Our
gas and electric bill are over and above during these winter months and it is so
good to know we can meet the mall and buy some more groceries.
Thank you each one for your wonderful faithful support to CFAN. God bless you.
FOOD
God is answering prayer. We had no food in our food bank. I went to town and a dear couple, Ross and Michelle Trujillo; they are wonderful friends and sponsors of CFAN. They had asked us to pick up some clothing. As we were loading close Ross asked if we needed meet. I quickly told him how desperate we were for food of any kind.(Echo the government agency that supplies us with a little food did not receive any during December or January.) But the Trujillo's sent us away with a nice supply of delicious hamburger at choose Elk. Then I called another mission that can sometime help us out. Sure enough they said; come over and they loaded our car with lots of canned goods and stable things. God is amazing. He always supplies our needs.
Larry and Tamara are going to lots of churches ministering in music and needing so many wonderful people. Larry is trying to get together a men's meetings on a regular basis. I think he is the one that can do it. He also works with the over commerce class, teaches Bible. He is a great help.
We have had so many requests from the youth to teach on the end times; that we have begun a movie night to show the end time movies. I think we all had better began to think more on heavenly things. That is where we will spend eternity. I love Myles Monroe's teaching on The Kingdom has been preached all over the world. We need to steady the Kingdom Message and preach what Jesus and his disciples preached. Every day people were added into the Kingdom, and fear fell on the hearts of those who were living in sin. I pray that terrible things to happen in our country to turn people's hearts and desires that to our Creator. I was shocked when I read American Family Association's Voters Guide by some of their stands on gay rights, opposing traditional marriage and moral education.
George Washington prayed this prayer. Direct my thoughts my words and my actions. Wash away my sin in The Immaculate Blood of the Lamb and purge my heart by the Holy Spirit daily frame me into the likeness of thy son Jesus Christ.
MAY
THIS BE OUR PRAYER
May God guide us as we cast our votes.
Lazelle
My Dear Friends;
It is hard to believe 2008 is here. Our world has never been in such turmoil, and so many Christians seem to be unaware of what the prophets are saying and the Bible has so clearly made plain to us to look up when all these things begin to happen, for our redemption draws near.
I am finally drawing myself together, after a doctor told my daughter to go on a long vacation. There was nothing that could be done for her. She might live six months. Thank God the doctors are not always right, and God has lots of things yet to do with my daughter. She is alive and growing closer to Lord every day. She just had an MRI, and again, the report was good... Praise the Lord. Thank you for your prayers.
Over the years we have prayed, Lord help us to be able to pay the people who come to work for us. We never felt we could afford it. By faith the board and I decided it was time to give a salary to our staff. This is a big step of faith for me. The day I wrote the first check to Larry, I had a call and a new church was sending us a check. I believe they will become a monthly sponsor.
Immediately I thought (oh me) of little faith. God will supply all our needs through his riches in glory, and Christ Jesus.
This brings me to say how I love and
appreciate all of you who over the years have been so faithful in your support.
We have never been late paying our bills.
Even last year, when the gas went so high we met all of our payments.
God Answers Prayer:
In my last newsletter, we asked for an electric piano for Tamara to play and immediately Jan and Buyck came out and brought us one. THANK YOU ABUNDANT LIFE.
Everyone needs to make a trip out just to hear Tamara. She and Larry have been going to different churches doing praise and worship. Larry is meeting other ministers who are making promises to come and help us with construction projects on the reservation and collect food for our pantry.
Our pantry has never been so empty.
Echo, the government agency, where we generally pick up a little
food,(they never gave us much)
and it called and said for the last two months they would have nothing.
Since the government has something to do with the food they receive.
So we are asking for the churches to help us more with this need
The
snow was so deep Tuesday night, we thought no one will come to service.
We did not go over to the chapel. We
were in my living room praying when the people began to come in.
We had a wonderful service. Our
roads have not been good for travel, but we have driven slow and not had to miss
a night of teaching.
Many
of the Navajos came out to help us get ready for Christmas.
Bessie and her husband from Farmington, also came to help.
They are faithful to come when needed.
With
all that we do, sorting the gifts into age groups, then bagging them a,
preparing the fruit gift bags, with apple, orange, candy in a big scoop of
peanuts. Jan McGowan always helps
with the decorations and her husband Buyck keeps everything up and going even
cooking the big Christmas dinner. Larry and Tamara put together a beautiful
musical telling the Story of Jesus. Rena
gave the imitation. Many commented
on the lovely service.
It
was another miracle how everything came together so beautifully. Our pictures will show you where some of your Christmas gift
monies and gifts win and the joy of the faces of the 200 or more who attended.
Analine; she is our new staff member.
A PowerPoint projector
Musical Instruments
Food
Please
pray that we can afford the gas we need for our vehicles.
We use the Van all of the time now plus the car, and they drink
lots of gasoline.
We
did our regular Christmas caroling with Christian Worship Center. It is always cold, and we have a hayride and pass out gifts
and sing.
We
brought in the New Year with prayer. We
showed the video, Transformation, and had different groups sing. Then as the midnight hour drew closer, we began praying not
making resolutions, but proclamations. Proclaiming
promises in God's Word for our families, friends, sponsors, our ministries, the
country and just covering everything we could.
We really believe this year is a special year for God's people.
Isn't it wonderful to work for such a KING in such a time as this.
OUR
COUNTRY HAS NEVER NEEDED OUR PRAYERS AS IT DOES TODAY.
Let us not go to sleep. When so
many things are hanging in the balance. We
need God to intervene, he moves when his people pray.
Thank you for your faithful support.
God
bless you with a few.

Jesus,
Messiah, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Rose of Sharon, Oh what a Savior we have.
I
Love Christmas. December 25, probably is not Jesus actual birth date, most bible
scholars think it is in October; but this happens to be the day set aside for us
to celebrate. Lets really celebrate, don't look for all the faults, the
commercialization and things men have done to keep us from celebrating. Just
think about Jesus and celebrate His Birthday. Let's worship Him. What would we
do without Him?
We
had a wonderful Thanksgiving, praising and thanking the Lord for all He has done
for us and the Navajo.
Most
of you know Larry came from The Joshua House, it is like AA but it is a
spirit filled 12 step program with 18 months of ministry to the students, some
of the men he worked with are now working for the Ministry. Four of them came
out and brought Christmas gifts and clothing they had collected. Also Ray and
Bobby, two of my sons, came pulling Rays big trailer filled with food, clothes
and Christmas gifts.
Many
of you contributed to this need and we are so thankful. Because of you, we had a
wonderful Thanksgiving. We filled the grocery bags to overflow with everything
for a big family dinner including the turkey. Some of the Navajo have been
coming over to help us separate clothing and getting the gifts ready for
Christmas. It looks like we will have a wonderful Christmas. We cannot say Thank
You enough for the extra money plus all the things some of you sacrificed to
send. The ladies had a ball shopping at our place.
Summer
schedule is filling up fast if you plan to come now is the time to give us a
call.
We
had a great three night teaching by a Navajo man we have just met from Shiprock,
NM. We want to stay connected with him and his church. He helped rally
together a lot of people for an all day prayer and praise meeting in a
Farmington park, in which we participated. The event was to chase all the
demonic activity away and clean the park up spiritually. A man who
has a big ministry in Farmington was caught there in a homosexual act and
has been going there with many others for years.
Evergreen
Academy brought another precious group of their students who did their reading
to the children at DZ school and they did Drama's at Church. They are always a
blessing. We are enjoying the fireplace burning the wonderful hard wood that Lee
Little and his son brought us.
Prayer
requests:
*My
daughter, Myra, had pneumonia; she is better now but very weak. She aches and
hurts. Pray for strength and healing on her body.
*Some
of our friends and supporters are very ill, some are facing surgery and need our
joint prayers. Lonnie Bass, Beverly Poole, Bookie Baker, Lois Ingram, Billy
Prince. We ask you to join us in prayer for miracles from The Great Physician.
Memorial
gifts:
Given
by Christy, Katlyn, & Lachan Misner in memory of Mark Misner.
Also
by Mr. & Mrs. CC Baker in memory of Mark Misner.
Thank
all of you very much for all you do for the Lord through CFAN. We are proud to
serve with you. Larry
is counseling his first couple. We believe this is the door God is opening for
us.
God
Bless everyone receiving this newsletter. Please keep us in prayer every day.
In
Christ's Love,
Lazelle
Praise
the Lord!
Thank
you everyone, for your prayers for my daughter Myra. The Dr's say the fluid
has almost dried up. The spot is healing, its almost gone and she is in
remission. Rejoice with us and give God all the praise and all the
Glory. He is awesome.
Thanksgiving
Many
of the stores would like to forget this Holiday. We hope to celebrate it real
loud with food bags for lots of needy families and teaching them why we all
should be so Thankful to our God for this country, for the Pilgrims and the
Indians who made peace in the midst of all the wars going on around them; and
Squanto, a Native American who taught the pilgrims where to hunt, fish, gather
food and how to fertilize corn and beans. Then in 1621 gathered in their first
harvest and invited their Indian friends, 90 of them came and I would say it was
like The Feast of Tabernacles as they prayed, thanked God and shared the first
fruits of their first harvest in America. It is recorded their festival lasted
three days. Our children need to be taught diligently the things God has done
for us.
In
Sept. 2002 a Historic Prayer Journey was made to Plymouth Rock. Christian Native
Americans Leaders from over twenty tribes representing nine linguistic
groups led by Dr Jay Swallow co – founder of ( Two Rivers Native American
Training Center and the Native American prayer Center in Mounds Ok. The request
the Native leaders made to God at Plymouth Rock was for Him to visit their
people again and bless them with the revelation and knowledge of His son Jesus
and bring them into their destiny as the people He made them to be. This reminds
me of the Evangelist I worked with for years and his prayers and tears for
people to come here and teach his people the word of God. I am so thankful we
can be a little part of answering those prayers, this is only because of all of
you. There will be a great move of God in this land one day and we will all be a
part of it. Thank you for your support in every way to us.
This
would be a good time to reflect on all God has blessed you with this year and to
look around and thank God for all his blessings this year. If you have escaped
the fires, the floods, the tornadoes, or having your home totally destroyed as
so many have, then you have much to thank God for.
One
of my many thanks to God is for Larry and Tamara. They have already brought joy
through their beautiful praise and worship. Tamara is praying for a new electric
piano, like the one she has which is 30 years old. It still sounds beautiful to
me but she notices all the flat keys and says it is hard to play now. Of course
we are praying for a tractor, when you visit here and see how the land keeps
moving around you will understand our need. Maybe you know a farmer who has
retired and has and old tractor that he would like to give away. We are still
praying for all the technical stuff it takes to use the power point. It would be
so nice for our teaching. If any of your churches buy new musical instruments,
or sound equipment we would like your old if it is still in real good condition.
It is very hard for me to ask for things because God is so good to us and truly
supplies all of our needs. Then I'm always reminded we have not because we ask
not, and it is not for me. It is for the Kingdoms work. I am excited as to what
our God is planning out here.
"O
come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our
salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful
noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above
all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the
hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry
land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our
maker."
Psalm

Now
after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king,
behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem saying, "Where is He who
has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and
have come to worship Him."
Matthew

Preparing
for Christmas
My
grandchildren have celebrated some elaborate birthdays this year. I would have
loved to have attended them all. Praise the Lord we all now have an opportunity
to celebrate together the most important birthday in all history. Wherever you
are I pray He will be the focus of these special days soon to be on our
calendar, as the world tries to take Him out of everything Lets get ready to
celebrate Jesus. We have been busy with people coming in to help already sorting
and preparing things that have already come in. This is the first time
I've seen pumpkins under the Christmas trees. The merchants can't let a season
begin before they are advertising the next. It makes us realize time is fleeting
and soon there will be no more opportunities to win the lost. We are so thankful
to all of you who help us each year at this time to bring the love of Christ to
a nation of people where only 5% know Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Here
is a list of things we will need; practical gifts for all ages, canned foods and
cash or gift cards to purchase meats, turkeys or ham. We also purchase 100 lb
bags of peanuts, crates of apples and oranges and lots of candies.
We
would love to be able to give many bags to the needy during Thanksgiving and
Christmas.

Our
Guest for October were Laverne Little and Helen (a missionary to Mexico ) they
were much help and it was so interesting to hear Helen share some of her
experiences. She is really a trooper. She actually lived in a dog pin and the
dumps to be able to witness to the people. Laverne's husband Lee and their son
Jerry brought us a pick up and long trailer loaded with oak wood all the way
from Arkansas, God is so good. We will stay warm in the dome this year.
Chris
Leirhiemer and one of his teachers Chee brought a lovely group of middle grade
students. We went to Dzith Na Oh Dithle school a couple of days where the
students read to the Navajo children. They are from Evergreen Academy in
Colorado and always a great blessing to us and to the schools.
God
Bless all of you.
May
you be blessed with the grace and favor of our Lord.
Love
you,
September,
wow what a month! I was thinking things might slow down, we seemed to just keep
going. Deborah and Cornelius Perez, from Singapore were our first guests. The
day they arrived a water line broke and for three days we had no
water. I asked them to go to a motel but they refused and said they were used to
these things as missionaries. That is what I call real missionaries. We all took
sponge baths and lived as many of the Indians live 365 days out of every year.
They held a revival at Christian Worship Center, only a few ladies
attended. Their teaching and ministry was wonderful and they were not affected
by the small number. We knew God had brought exactly who he wanted. These ladies
were so touched and became burdened to begin to pray and believe. I'm always
thinking on The Marriage Supper of the Lamb many have been invited,
but who will come. Those who attended were very blessed and the fruit still
remains. They spoke of how Abraham pleased God. God said he could
trust Abraham to make a covenant with him because he was willing to leave all
tradition, religions, lands, families & the false gods to obey the one
true God and God even said he saw how Abraham would be faithful to teach and
command his children after him. This really touched home with them. There
is a real struggle going on with those who want to leave all their old religious
ways and follow the Lord Jesus. This meeting brought hope, courage and built up
their faith.
Rena
was so touched she had all the ladies stay after church the next Sunday and she
gave them a prayer assignment for the month. There is a noticeable
change in the ones who attended this meeting. Please keep Rena and the
Navajo's in prayer, they are growing and the devil is hard at work. One of
Rena's son's brought a girl into the home and wanted to live with her in their
house, traditionally with Navajo this is alright. Rena knew this was wrong. It
was sin and if she allowed it, it would take away God's blessing from the Church
and her home. She came to me and I gave her lots of scriptures concerning when
we do right and obey God's commands we are blessed. When we know to do right and
do not do it, it is sin. We talked about Eli's son's who committed adultery on
the steps of the synagogue and because of these things, Eli, the priest and his
family would pay a high price. Rena put them out of the house and told her
decision from the pulpit, which was very commendable. I always say hold a high
standard and bring the children up to that standard, if
you lower your standard you just go down with them. Jesus says lift him up and
he will draw all men unto himself. We lift Him up through our obedience and
testimonies. We must all began to be like Abraham and teach our children the
ways of God and the importance of following God. Don't give up on any that are
far away. Find some good promises in the word for your children and began to
pray for them. The prayers of a righteous man availeth much.
I
want to mention a young person who came with the Minnesota group from First
Methodist Church, Danielle Vitali. This young lady raised money to buy a
basketball goal set for us. These young people should really be recognized and
praised for doing things like this. Thank you again Danielle. We now have two
basketball goals. A good project for this coming summer will be making a nice
level place to put both goals up for the youth here.
Ray
brought a load of furniture and things for Larry and Tamara along with lots for
us and three wonderful women who cleaned and cleaned on my house. It really
needed it. Jan & Buyck came early to help prepare for The Feast. I wish all
could have seen how beautiful she decorated our building. They blessed us with
their messages and Jan's music. Buyck just worked and worked. everyday getting
things ready then cooking and serving. They are such a blessing to CFAN.
They
also brought me a beautiful bouquet of red roses for my birthday.
How
I thank all of you who sent cards, gifts and called. Thank you for remembering
me. I am so blessed to have the family and friends God has given me.
We
were so blessed again by Delores Paas, another of our wonderful speakers and a
great blessing always to CFAN and the Navajo. She brings to us the latest news
that concerns Christians. Her love for the Jews keeps her in the word and close
to the Lord.
Feast
of Tabernacles follows the days of much repentance and being sure our hearts are
right with God, bringing your family together and telling them how God
brought you out of your Egypt (your life of sin.) For seven days,
over and over again while looking up to the heavens you should reminisce
and tell the children the greatness of God and the things He has done in your
life. The importance of righteousness, holiness, service & giving,
especially blessing Israel should always be the theme. These are the things that
please God and bring His blessings to you and to your family.
We
had the pleasure of ordaining Jackie Jacobson at the Feast. Jackie teaches
at Rocky Mt . Bible Institute and throughout the Denver metro Area. She is an
intercessor on the team of International reconciliation coalition for the
Indigenous people, a ministry that encourages, facilitates and prays for the
healing of the wounds of the American Indian.
This
is a portion of Jackie's view of The Feast this year:
"WE
WERE SO BLESSED TO BE WITH ALL OF YOU. TO SEE EVERYONE AGAIN MEANT SO MUCH. I
KNOW EACH YEAR IS DIFFERENT AND THIS YEAR WAS DIFFERENT IN YET ANOTHER WAY. WE
TALKED A LOT ON THE WAY HOME ABOUT THE TRANSITIONS, PHYSICALLY WITH STAFF AND
SPIRITUALLY WITH WHAT ANDREW WAS TALKING ABOUT. I CAN SEE THAT WHATEVER IS DONE
IN THE SPIRIT TO FREE UP THE OPPRESSION WILL DIRECTLY AFFECT YOU. YOU ARE THAT
SAFE PLACE WHERE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BE FREE CAN GO. PERHAPS IN THE NEAR FUTURE,
CFAN WILL BE TOO SMALL TO HANDLE THE WORK???"
"WHAT
I DO KNOW IS THAT THE RIGHTEOUS ROOT YOU HAVE PLANTED THERE OVER THESE
LONG YEARS HAS GROWN A "TREE" AND THAT TREE IS A HOME FOR THE NAVAJO.
I BELIEVE THE LORD HAD YOU ESTABLISH CFAN SO LONG AGO THAT HE WOULD HAVE
STABILITY ALONGSIDE WITH WORK OF WARFARE THAT IS GOING TO BE DONE TODAY. CFAN HAS
BEEN A STAGE OF WARFARE AND NOW IT LOOKS LIKE THERE ARE MORE
"TROOPS" COMING. IT TAKES MANY TO DO THEIR PART. YOU WERE THE PIONEER
IN IT ALL!"
"MY
THOUGHTS ARE: THE PART ANDREW IS DOING IS VERY SPECIALIZED THAT ONLY A FEW
WILL BE ASKED TO DO. ALONGSIDE OF THAT WORK, THE REST OF THE BODY AND
NAVAJO BELIEVERS MUST FAITHFULLY DO WHAT THEY ARE
GIVEN TO DO. TOGETHER, ALL OF YOU WILL BE USED TO BRING A NEW LEVEL OF
FREEDOM TO THE NAVAJO IN NEW MEXICO."
"IF
WHAT ANDREW SAYS IS TRUE, WHEN THE NAVAJO GETS SET FREE, IT WILL BE A CATALYST
FOR THE REST OF THE TRIBES IN THIS CONTINENT. THIS IS WHAT PRICKED ME. I AM BURDENED
AND LONG FOR THAT TO HAPPEN, ESPECIALLY AT PINE RIDGE. I CANNOT DISMISS
THAT HE MAY BE A KEY!! I PRAY DECEPTION OF ANY KIND OFF
OF HIM AND THAT ONLY THE LIGHT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT RULES HIM. I PRAY HE STAYS
TEACHABLE AND KIND. I PRAY THE FATHER SENDS HIM WHAT HE NEEDS."
So
many have spoken of this being and end time ministry . I have always felt in my
heart the same thing. That is one reason we have been so bombarded and opposed
by Satan and his cohorts. He does not like us to here, on what he thinks is his
territory. God has placed us here for such a time as this.
When
this Navajo preacher made a diagram and showed us our position, our location on
the enemy's map no wonder we need constant prayer. (We will share more info on
this as we receive it.)
Now
more than ever we ask for all individuals and churches to keep us covered in
prayer. As
strongholds are located , we will be able to help tear these things down. God
loves these Navajo people and wants them set free.
My, God has blessed us again. Larry & Tamara Ham have moved in and are
getting settled and I know God has some wonderful plans for them and CFAN as we
work together.
They could begin to make records today, their music is so heavenly. Already they
are a great blessing. Please, please keep them and us, Christ For all
Nations, in prayer.
Prayer
Today
we are blessed to say our prayers are being answered. We are reaching into
Russia, India, Mexico, Israel, US, the Navajo Nation and I don't even know how
many other places. Our board members Terry and Betty minister in every
year. It is such a blessing to be a part of God's work in His Kingdom here on
earth.
Ray
is in Mexico this week along with Terry Beatty they are doing construction on a
church.
Jackie
will soon be going into Russia to minister & teach.
Lolita
Vito, who has a CFNI Bible college in Nagaland, to see her reports of the
disciples coming from that ministry is miraculous.
And
Israel (God says: I will bless those who bless Israel and I will curse those who
curse Israel)
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
We
pray you are gathering things for our Christmas here.
Rays

Pray
for him as he travels so much and do load his truck with lot of goodie's.
He
has been blessed to find a place to get most of our paper goods. If you can send
gifts, food especially canned fruits, string beans, corn, spam, sweet potatoes,
any kind of veggies or canned meats, these are the things they love not the
large cans, the Navajo's have no refrigeration.
May
God richly bless all of you as you bless us in so many ways.
Larry,
Tamara and I feel like this is the timing for God and the Navajo Nation.
We
also know there must be much prayer and we do plead with you all to join us in
some times of fasting and praying.
Thank
you for your prayers already and your support. May God Bless you abundantly.
Lazelle
WOW! What a summer, It began in June and hasn't slowed down. We are seeing fruits for our labors.
We had a Navajo man, one that we have ministered to for years, come to give his testimony. I think, it was the first time he ever stood before a group of people and testified of the goodness of God, and his desire to walk with God and lead his people to Jesus. We were all in tears. Then to have several of our Navajo ladies and youth volunteer to go with me and help in VBS. What a blessing to me. This is what we have prayed over and over again for. They were excited and Rena said, "We want to take VBS all over our Navajo Nation". She continues to hunger and grow in things of the Lord. Where there is a will there is a way.
I was willing to have VBS's everywhere but did not have enough teams coming in to cover each area.
Ken and Gail Brunk and their two lovely daughters arrived from Lindale Minnonite Church , Linville Va. This was their first time here. They were ready, willing and prepared to do whatever was needed. Our Navajo, sisters came along and together we had a wonderful Bible School at Cecil Sales Church. Our theme was The Good Shepherd and the Navajo's brought some very good little teachings to their people.
Then Upper Room came led by James Engle he brought a construction team and some great youth. They had not come prepared to do a VBS. But these youth went with me and one of the men again God blessed and we had a very effective VBS at Stanley Edways Church. Jeanette, Bro Stanley's wife mentioned how well they all did. The adults had a real good Bible teaching and on the last day we managed to have a good craft for them. I admired Upper room's youth as they had other plans and they changed it all to help us out.
They built a beautiful deck and ramp on my house so Theresa from CFAN can come in when she visits. They removed the cabinets from my kitchen so the next group could bring new ones in.
They repaired Shalom's roof. They installed new windows all around the house and a new door. This should keep the heat in and the cold out and save on our utilities.
Bob Bertelson sent the iron bars from Shalom to a friend of his in Albuquerque and had them refinished.
We had beautiful music from their band YADA their band. They worked on our van. They did so many things I don't have room to tell.
Upper room passed the hammers on to Ray and the men with him they passed it on to those from Virginia. It was so neat to watch as one team left and another pick up where the other left off.
Clyde & Wanda Plum from
Kentucky was another blessing from God. We traveled all the way to Farmington,
and the Navajo's joined us again in this VBS. We had and awesome time and lots
of people. Bro Clyde dressed as The Good Shepherd. He looked for his lost sheep
and at the end found it. That was our theme. Wonda did a wonderful job with the
youth and children with the help of our Navajo's. Everything was put together at
the last minute even to our crafts we collected from things left over the years.
Ray brought Terry and Manning from Texas his trailer loaded down with cabinets
and appliances. They came in on Thursday late got up worked all day on Shalom
Friday, installing cabinets, and appliances. Replaced old faucets etc. and
worked till 3pm. They were so tired but they headed back to Dallas I don't know
how these men do it.
Larry Hamm and Tamara met the men from CFAN here and Larry jumped in and worked
along side them and Virginia group. They are the answer to our prayers for help.
Praise the Lord. Please keep them in prayer. They should be moving in before the 21st of September. This will be in time to help with The Feast of Tabernacles which will be September 21, 22 this year.
We have seen God move through salvations and rededications and we give Him all the praise.
Please send all Christmas presents early so we can sort and be ready. Last year was rather hectic up to the last minute Thank you, Thank you.
Lynside Mennonite Church, led by David & Kristi Kanagy with Kingdom Builders, have been coming so many years. They just come in looking for things to be done and do them. David's group tease him, they call him Pharaoh. No time for play when they come, they have breakfast, devotion and then to work until church time or bedtime.
I looked out my window and thought who needs a tractor when they have young men from Virginia. They had made a road grader out of a crate and building blocks and did a good job of grading my road. Our kitchen had flooded in The Fran Roland building. They worked days, put in a culvert and did all kind of things to divert the waters from the building. They painted walls and decorated some rooms even made a matching headboard and lots of curtains. They bought a sewing machine to use then gave it to us. Still had time to help in shalom house painting, cleaning, etc.
Brian and Marcie came home to NM. It looked so natural to see Caleb and Joshua playing out my kitchen window. Brian helped with all kind of projects and Marcie did our books. They are always such a blessing when they come. Brian preached some very anointed sermons. Grown men who were visiting were brought under deep repentance with a desire to serve the Lord more than ever before.
Please continue your prayers for my daughter Myra. She is on a new medication along with the Chemo. She has just received a good report. The tumor is shrinking fast and it has not spread to any other place in her body. Praise the Lord. Keep praying until the report is complete healing. Pray for Israel, It is sad to think our nation will be part in giving her land away. It belongs to Israel and should remain in her hands. Pray for mercies on our nation and those involved to understand God's plans.
Pray for those in service.
Pray for CFAN as God brings new help in. He will also bring new ideas and more effective ways to reach the Navajo Nation for Jesus. The people are very upset because their president has taken much of the money they need and bought very expensive gold rings to give all his councilmen. The men are refusing the gifts. They say they were sworn in to be a service to their people.

We
were blessed with many visitors in April. Sherry Rawlings & her friend
Becky Rogers from Cerro Gordo, Illinois. Pastor Clyde and Wanda Plumb from
Shenandoah, Va. all came to help and (Help they did) they all worked so hard .
We appreciate them and welcome them anytime.
Then I had relatives, whom I had never
met, come visit. We had such a sweet time talking about our families.
God
allowed me to go to the Fellowship of Ministers at CFNI in Dallas, TX
& to be able to participate in discussions about many things going on in our
churches today. We are all seeking answers to many questions. We know the
answer is in the word and there is wisdom in a multitude of counselors. I
appreciate others input concerning the many things that arise here among the
Navajo. I always pray for God's wisdom in confronting their problems.
We
had our monthly Hurfeno Area Ministers meeting and I was nominated to be the
next President. It was a job I hated to have to turn down. I love the meetings
and fellowship but until we have more help I told them I could not take on the
position of president.
I
preformed another wedding for a little Navajo Lady I've known a long time. She
was already married by a Justice of the Peace but wanted a Christian Wedding. I
did not know her Father in Law was a Roadman in the Navajo Religion. That is the
highest position in their religion. After the wedding he gave a speech. I could
not understand all that he said, most was in Navajo. He told me I said some good
things but that we all have our beliefs. Pray for this couple Andrew and
Geraldine Jackson. They will need much prayer. I am getting wonderful reports on
Frandale Segay the husband of Wonda Charley Segay. He went home to his family
who are strong in the Navajo Religion they tried to physically take him to one
of their meetings, he refused to be moved. Told his mom & dad he had been
studying God's word and He knew it was the right path to take. Please keep him
in prayer. I believe for his whole family to come to the Lord.
I believe this year 2007 (7 being the # of completeness) we will see many
victories, miracles of salvation & healing, answers to prayers you may have
prayed for years. Jesus said when the enemy comes in like a flood he will raise
the standard against him. Let us be careful to not be deceived by the false
miracles. News reports told of the government being worried over some figure
that is calling himself Jesus and miracles are following him. Jesus reminds us
over and over they will come in His name, and we should not
believe in them. Remember Jesus will first come in the clouds, before He comes
back to set his feet on the Mt of Olives.
How I
love all of you and Thank you with all my heart for your gifts to this ministry.
May
God Bless you is my prayer.
In
Christ's Love,
Lazelle
We
can face tomorrow. Isn't this a wonderful time of the year. Everything
is coming alive and we stop to celebrate the Resurrection of our Dear
Savior. I have such sweet memories of taking all my children to Sunrise
Services. They were all dressed up and it was a true time of worship and
Thanksgiving unto God. Even more so as we began to understand the real meaning
of the celebration of Easter. Had it not been for the tomb being empty we would
not have a Gospel that was different than any other gospel of any other
religion. Oh but he did and because he arose we to can be partakers in the next
resurrection “1 Thess. 4: 16, 17 (For the Lord himself shall descend from
heaven, 1. with a shout, 2. with the voice of the archangel and 3. with the
trump of God. The dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and
remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in
the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
Wherefore
comfort one another with these words
Our heart ache's when we think of the many that are taking the broad road that
leads to destruction. That is why we labor sometimes day and night spreading
this wonderful news of the Risen Savior to the lost.
Thank
you, Thank You for helping us. Sometimes it is a long lonely road and then out
of the blue God blesses in such a way to let you know he is thinking of you and
knows right where you are. I told you in the last letter of the nice Navajo
couple who bought my lunch. I was bringing Sister Lulu back from Albuquerque and
thought it would be nice to stop and buy her lunch. Of course it had to be El
Bruno's. When we went in three ladies were seated at a table and began to talk
to me and befriend us. Lulu speaks no English. In a few minutes the waitress
comes over and tells me those ladies have just bought your lunches. I went to
town Friday and when I went in to have my lunch. MY nephew had given me coupons
for the Red Lobster and I thought I would use the coupons. I was just enjoying
my dinner when a waiter came and sat down at my table just talking friendly, and
then he said I want to tell you the couple behind you has just paid for your
meal. This could not have been coincidence; it has to be a blessing from God. He
is so good! (ALL THE TIME).
Marcey
is seated at the computer where she spent most of her time the short time they
were here. The Lord was so good to keep lots of snow on the ground so the
children Caleb, Joshua and Jarred could play. Jarred is Marcey' sister-in-law
Mary's son who came to tend the children while Marcey worked on the books. We
are so thankful for all who help in so many different ways.
We had a wonderful time in Arkansas. We arrived Friday night, and then went to
breakfast at 8 am. We had a full day going to Old Washington, then to Max and
Roberta's Okay Ranch in the evening for food, fellowship and the biggest bonfire
you have ever seen. New Life Church just blessed and blessed our Indians. They
are still speaking of their trip. They would just like to take a longer one next
time.
I had the pleasure of dedicating the lovely baby born to Frandale and Wonda
Segay Sunday. Our Tuesday night services have been small, yet oh so sweet. We
are doing a lot of singing and praising the Lord.
Lucy Begay and I drove down for a weekend ladies meeting, ( the Aglow at
Gloreitta.) It was a wonderful time of good information, teaching, encouragement
and a call to prayer for ladies all over the world.
I had the pleasure of dedicating the lovely baby born to Frandale and Wonda
Charley Segay a few weeks ago. Sunday Morning Frandale came forward for
prayer for his parents. I wept as I prayed for this young Christian. All of his
family is deep in the Native American Religion. Pray with us that these strong
holds can be broken and these people set free to worship the only true and
living God.
We
praise the Lord for he has answered so many of our prayers. Thank you to all of
who send your prayer request. We do take them to the Throne Room and praise God
when they are answered for you.
The
13 year old boy was found safe and unharmed! Praise Jesus!
Remember
whatever you face today. Nothing is impossible with God.
Love
you and thank you for your prayers and support as we work together for his
Kingdom.

March 2007 Newsletter
Dear Friends of mine and Jesus,
I like the song "He calls me friend", but I'm more than HIS friend,
I'm his daughter, and I like that position better.
Praise the lord, it is a beautiful day, a little cold but pleasant. The birds
are everywhere singing their lovely songs, little rabbits running here and
there. I even saw a daffodil peeking its head through some left over snow. Don't
we love spring.
Our lives are filled with seasons.
When it looks like winter will never end, and things are getting worse everyday,
that is when we praise the Lord more and more.
Like David when he spoke to his soul and said, "magnify the Lord." David had learned that every battle coming his way would not be won by anything he did but by the glorious power and help of our mighty God . I remind myself daily to stand firm in my faith in Jesus. Man will try to discourage you and destroy your faith but don't ever give up.
God
never ceases to amaze me with the things He does.
Deborah has been busy with Wondor. (Praise the Lord Wondor's baby girl has
arrived on time) Mother & baby are home from the hospital and it
remains yet to be seen if grandmother Deborah is just going to have to be even
busier with the new baby.
Last Tuesday, I wondered what we would do, since Deborah was not available to
open the food room. Then, out of the blue, I receive a phone call. It was
someone I had not seen or heard from in a good while, they wanted to know what
they could come and help with. Dorthy and two other young Navajo girls from
Kenneth Trujillo's Church came over and worked with us also. We gave away lots
of clothes and food that day. Isn't that just like the Lord to send us what we
need when we need it.
While
on my weekly visit to town, I was having lunch, when a nice Navajo couple I'd
not seen in a few years recognized me and came to my table to visit. We visited
for quite some time, then when they got up to leave they took my ticket and
bought my dinner. I was really blessed.
We miss Shane, but we are thankful he has a job now. He is working at
Applebee's. We see him at church and he loves his job.
Joy is recovering from surgery on her nose. She is back teaching the students.
The Indians are so faithful to give testimonies and Sunday was very special. I
was beginning to think I would have to make my message short since so many were
getting up to testify. One dear lady began, she said she did not
understand why her people (The Navajo) were not going to other places
proclaiming the Gospel. I understood what she was saying, because they go out,
but on such a short scale. Not many ever go to evangelize even in their own
neighborhoods. She spoke of how the white man has been coming to them for so
long. I was so thankful when it came my time to speak, I could say "well
you have four who will be going into Arkansas with me to praise and worship God
with their music and to preach the word of God." I love taking them into
other states where they can share their love of God and meet other Christians.
They are always encouraged and lifted up and the people where they go are always
lifted up also. One day we will have many missionaries rise up from our Navajo.
This will be an answer to people who see their need to be sharing the wonderful
news the missionaries have brought to them.
Our
Prayer Request
Please continue to pray for my daughter Myra, for complete healing. She had to
change Dr's. Pray that God will give this Dr wisdom as he guided the other one,
or God will lead her to another Doctor and her healing process will not at all
be interrupted. She is doing really well and so thrilled that her hair is
growing back.
We had much damage to the Dome this winter, some small, some not so small.
Pray God will send us the workers we need to repair all the things. The roofers,
the plumbers, the carpenters, the painters, the cleaners, maintenance crew.
Along with some real good cooks.
Pray for all of our Vacation Bible School workers and students, also the summer
missionaries that will be joining us soon.
In Christ's Love,
Lazelle
December Happenings
Many things happened here in December, I'll try and highlight the events.
December
2, we had our first wedding in the New Chapel. It was beautiful. I joined Wonda
Charley and Frandel Segay in Holy Matrimony. Today another Navajo came by and
and we are planning her wedding for April. She told me she thought it was time
for them to start being a good example because everybody was just 'shacking up'.
I certainly agreed with her.
Then for the next two weeks Shane, Deborah, and several Navajo's from DZ and the
Counselor area came in and helped. We worked hard getting gifts ready
bagging candies and fruits and getting ready for our big Christmas Service. The
Lord knowing we were still not quite ready sent Buyck & Jan McGowan. They
always seem to put the cherry on the top by helping us bring everything together
for these big events. Brenda Trambel and her husband came from Alamogordo and
brought a truck loaded with clothing and gifts. Brenda is a very special person
too and they were great help. We had 200 or more in our chapel and had a
wonderful time Celebrating & worshiping Our King. Seeing the faces of the
children and the thank you from many adults was worth all the effort we had put
into preparing for one special day.
There
is another special day coming. The day Jesus takes us to the place He is
preparing for us.
He said: in John 14 "I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and
prepare a place for you surely I will come again and receive you unto myself; that
where I am there you may be also." THANK ALL OF YOU FOR THE
GIFTS, MONEY, FOOD EVERYTHING YOU DID TO ALLOW US TO BE YOUR HANDS
EXTENDED. We also served our 200 guest a good dinner.
Our last day of school was Dec 22 and I went home to spend a few days with my children in Louisiana & Texas. It was wonderful. I have a good praise report for my daughter Myra. She has finished her six-7 hour chemo treatments. They ran all the tests over and she is progressing great. The spot was less than half the size. All her blood work and other tests were good. She will continue with small treatments over an 18 month period. God is healing her and it is so good to hear my other children speak with such words of faith. We are rejoicing and thanking God daily for her healing. THANK EVERYONE FOR YOUR PRAYERS.
I was visited by Buddy & Jan Greer and Cameron and Charlotte Hudson while in Louisiana. They told me of all the wood they have labored to cut up for us. We just desperately need a big truck or truck with large trailer to bring it out. We could certainly use some of it and then give some away Wood is like gold out here.
January 2007
We do have school and a teacher. With all the snow it has been hard. Either we can't get to the school for all the snowdrifts or the children can't get to us. We only have two students but the teacher is working with them trying to keep get them all caught up in their subjects. Right now they meet in my house. The teacher has offered to stay with them at night. Pray this works out well and soon we will be back in the school room. We also have frozen pipes so there is no water in the new building. We do have a plumber coming from Louisiana. Pray this will not be a major problem. Mrs. Joy, the new teacher is doing well under all these adverse circumstances. Shane is a jewel. We have been so blessed to have him. Soon we may have to share him a few days a week. He may be getting a part time Job. He will still be able to stay with us some and help when he can.![]() |

Here
we are already in a New Year. It
is always exciting to be able to kinda start allover again.
I
want to enter this year with:
1.
Excitement, Joshua & Caleb when they began to enter the land of
Canaan They had no doubt. They saw a land filled with milk and honey (blessings
From The Most High God) His only requirement OBEY ME DO WHAT I TELL YOU TO DO.
(KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS) Remember there is never any giant to big for our Jesus.
2.
Expecting: Acts 3: 5 and he gave heed unto them expecting to receive from
them. This man was looking for a little change maybe to buy a loaf of bread, but
because he was expecting something he received much more than he could
ever have imagined.
3.
Witnessing: Mark 5: 19 Jesus said; go home and tell your friends. Over
and over in the scripture he reminds us to go tell. Remember we overcome the
devil by the Blood of the Lamb and Our Testimonies.
Just
a few words here today to say OH HOW I THANK YOU to all who have stood with us
through good times and bad. I am believing along with many other Saints of God
for a very good year 2007 a perfect number in Gods calendar. Here at Christ for
all Nations we have watched visions be born and die. God is reminding me unless
a seed is planted and dies it can not live again. We have a beautiful example in
the resurrected power of Jesus Christ. Expect to hear great things happening
here at CFAN this year. In your on life expect great things to happen as you
serve Jesus.
Our
Newsletter will be late as our internet carrier has closed their doors and we
are in the process of getting another. Will send our new e-mail address as soon
as we have one.
We
did have a wonderful Christmas with our Navajo because of you all. And again I
say God Bless you and--Thank~you for your faithful support. This could be the
year our SAVIOUR COMES. Our world has never before been in such turmoil. Let us
labor together while there is still time and keep our eyes on the hope that
awaits us in that PROMISED LAND.
In
His great Love

KESHMISH
HOZOOGO (Merry Christmas)
It
is almost Christmas and a time to let special people in our lives know how much
we love
and appreciate them.
You
are some of those people. You help make CFAN a place of refuge and hope for
many. You keep us busy year round doing wonderful things in The Name of Jesus.
Oh What a Name. What a pleasure to serve HIM.
I
love Christmas time and I will never let what men try to do with all the
commercializing and everything else to take away the wonderful feelings I have
in my heart so filled with Thanksgiving for The One who left heavens glory and
came to earth to bring Salvation, Love, Joy and Peace to all who will receive
Him.
CFAN
NEWS
Randy
Carruth brought a group of men and women. They helped Bill finish his project on
the lovely Baptist church. They will dedicate it in the spring.
Bill moved home to be with his family.
Shane
is a dear blessing and lots of help.
Buddy
and Jan Greer brought us a load of good wood all the way from Louisiana. They
were here to help us prepare for thanksgiving.
My
daughter and family Leah, Danny, Drew & Daniel and two of my sons Ray and
Bobby came and spent Thanksgiving with me. It was so good having them here.
Today
the school children helped bag candies. Our fruit & nuts will be the last
thing. We have to wait till the week of our service to purchase that.
Join
us in prayer that as we give the word, sing praises to our Lord and give
presents to all, that they will see the love of Jesus and desire him with all
their heart.
Thank you for your prayers for my daughter Myra. She is responding well to her treatments and we continue to pray and believe for a complete healing to her whole body. HAVE A MERRY, MERRY CHRISTMAS

We
have so much to be thankful for.
We
all have each other. We are one. When you hurt, I hurt. When you rejoice, I
rejoice. I know some who will receive this letter today are hurting. My prayer
for you is that ministering Angels will enter your room and bring comfort in
whatever your need is. I pray you will be so aware of The Holy Spirit, who
is in you and is with you. He is there with you now and is in you. How
comforting to always know God is concerned about everything that concerns us.
His very thoughts toward us are more than the sand by the sea. We cannot
comprehend this, but by faith life is so sweet when we accept and believe it. It
matters not how big your mountain is today. It is not too high for our God to
climb. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD.
Winter
arrived with a little sprinkle of snow. We have our big snows generally Dec and
January. Today a little ice mixed with rain is falling.
It
has been another busy month. Sunday night a Pastor from Lordsburg NM visited our
church ( CWC.) They spent the night with us. He ministers to Dan
Tsosie where he is in jail. He brought a wonderful report about Dan. Dan will be
out soon and is trying to get into Joshua House, this is the ministry in
Oklahoma which I told about in my last letter. It would be great for him to go
there. Please join us in prayer that our request will be granted and the judge
allows him to go for 6 months.
Praise
Report:
Bro
Bill will have to leave in a few days. His work on the church is finished and
his family needs him at home. He is the one helping in the school.
Can
you believe the goodness of God? A lady called and said I want to come talk to
you. She came, we talked, she is a retired school teacher from Ace School and
will be joining us as our school administrator. Thank and Praise God for
this victory. We still need lots of workers but we are believing God for them.
Visitors:
Richard and Dot Sarver, House of Blessings Leesville , La. It was such a
pleasant surprise when they called and told me they were coming out. Faithful
supporters and friends for years, this was there first time to CFAN. They were
here on a Tuesday night which is the night we have our Service. Two drunk men
came to our door wanting a ride home. Randy and all his great group were frying
catfish and I told the men if they would stay for service I would take them
home. They enjoyed catfish with all of us thanks to Randy and his group of
workers who had come out to help Bill finish up on the Baptist Church.
Then Bro Richard brought a timely message for all. One of the men was so into
the service and had tears in his eyes. Several stayed and talked with Richard I
know they were touched and ministered to and have been encouraged to believe
life can be good for them.
It
would not be CFAN unless you have something spectacular for Show & Tell when
you went home. We decided to go see the beautiful new church for
"I Am Able Ministry", that Bill has worked so hard on.. The sun had
been shining that day and it was dry and lovely. I was driving Dot &
Richard, when out of no where a big mud-hole appeared. We had to wonder where
the water came from. After much inspection of the road we decided to try it. Bro
Richard told me to put my foot down hard and not let up. You better believe I
got stuck. Dot got some priceless pictures of Richard freezing, barefooted, and
with his pants rolled up, gathering sage brush to put under the wheels and
digging in the mud and dirt. After much labor he got under the wheel and got us
out. Thank the Lord he didn't get sick. Then Richatrd & Dot invited
me to Albuquerque to a wonderful Seminar, and paid all my expenses. I was filled
both spiritually & physically, such that I can truly say my cup runneth
over.
Then
our dear Beverly Poole came. We had such a good time. H. J was not physically
able to make the trip. She saw that gifts for Christmas were delivered to
us from her church. When she & H J used to come often they made wonderful
friends. Some have not been serving the Lord. She ministered to them and was
able to get one young couple to take her to church. They had not been in a long
time. Hopefully now they will see their need to get back into the Lord's
service. I know the Lord looked down and laughed with us two old grand maws
trying to wait on each other. We still do pretty good. God has promised us
strength for our days. That our strength will be renewed as the Eagle. I'm
looking and watching and expecting that.
Casino's,
please stay away from them The devil has come to steal, kill and destroy.
We
had two sisters recently killed on their way to a casino. I was just informed of
another set of sisters, who on their way to a casino were both killed in a car
accident also.
Pray
for the family of Opal Coleman. She was my sister – in – law . She
passed away Monday Oct. 12 she has one son Jerry Frank , two sisters, Eunice and
Rosie.
Continue
to pray for my grandson Jeremy.
Thank
all of you for your prayers for my daughter Myra she is responding really
good to her treatments. We continue to believe she is being healed. Prayer &
faith mixed together is the greatest power on earth.
Many
were disappointed with the election results. Let’s not be.
We
are commissioned to pray for all in authority. Pray for God's will to be done in
each life and decision being made by each newly elected official.
God
has everything under control and I'm sure all is working together so that the
prophetic time line of God, not man will be fulfilled.
I
will take the liberty here to copy a small peice of an article I just received.
"As
believers we are neither republicans or Democrats—We are Monarchist awaiting
the coming of our King. While we wait we must fight for the values we uphold in
a climate that's becoming more hostile to these values everyday. That means
supporting anyone we find who espouses them and not supporting those who
don't."
We
have become to comfortable with the ways of the world. Remember we are suppose
to be in the world, but not of the world. For those with one foot in the world
and one foot in The Kingdom, the next little while might be pretty frustrating
since it will require increasing levels of compromise.
It
is long past time for us to quit depending on our paychecks, our government,
even our constitution for our security and start looking to the author and
perfecter or finisher of our faith again. He is the only one you can neither
leave nor lose. He is the only one who is faithful and true. And He is the only
one who has promised to see to our needs. Even so come Lord Jesus.
Our
Christmas Service will be Dec. 15 th 7 PM
Pray
for us. I know we will have plenty because of you who have so generously given .
Thank
You,
Lazelle

Dear
Saints
Truly
everyday with Jesus is sweeter than the day before.
I
have wonderful news concerning my daughter MYRA. We took her to Dallas to a
doctor who was highly recommended to my other daughter. After running many tests
on her the doctor said they could treat Myra and she should be able to live a
normal life. The first treatment is over and she is doing well. How we thank you
for your prayers. We know God has heard and is answering them. When Myra was in
high school she always took her Bible with her to school. She was very much in
love with Jesus. She had lost her first love and did not serve him any more.
The one thing her illness has done is bought her back to the Lord. She never
stops talking about Him, now both her and her husband have become His witnesses.
Praise the Lord!
I
did not return to New Mexico in time to do much advertising for The Feast. But
praise the Lord it was one of the best Feasts we have ever had. That is the
statement made by Buyck McGowan and he and Jan have been to nearly every Feast.
I don't think we could manage one without them. They know exactly what to do.
They always bring a wonderful word and Jan blesses us with her songs. All of the
Navajo's look forward to the barbecued sausage, brisket and pork they bring from
Texas. Of course I do too. It is delicious. Larry Hamm, his wife Tamara &
their Pastor Doug Lott bought beautiful praise and worship. They ministered th
word along with another wonderful couple God brought into our life. Pastor
Cornelious and Deborah Perez. They were at CFNI and met my son Ray. He told them
about The Feast and they actually called the airlines and
changed the date of departure back to Singapore, so they could come.
They serve as missionaries in Singapore. We were so blessed by the messages they
all brought and their fellowship. The words spoken so often those days were by
divine appointment and we all knew that it was true. Eleven of our Christ For
The Nations alumni showed up during the days of celebration. The next day two
more graduates came by. Delores Paas brought a very current news update
concerning Israel and our need to pray without ceasing for Israel and America.
Pray that Israel will see Gods hand at work and put their trust in HIM. We look
forward knowing Our God is up to something good for CFAN and all the surrounding
area even all of NM.
Pastor
Rena Todacheene and Tulley Butler brought messages in English and Navajo. They
are among our most dedicated Navajo ministers.
Pastor
Doug and Larry have a ministry to Alcoholics and drug abusers. They do a
marvelous job of rehabilitating these people. They bought some of the men with
them and what a great help they were. Tamara’s mother and father came also
they had the hardest job of all. They cooked and served everyday. I tried to get
them to stay on forever. Mike Padok joined us with his lovely voice. Kathy,
Nikki and Barbara former CFNI students also shared testimonies along with
several of our Navajo. We did have a blessed time of fellowship.
Then
to put the cream on top; I was casually telling Bro Cornelius about The Ten
Commandment Stone in Los tunas and he said let’s go see it. I've desired to go
every since I heard of it. I thought it might involve a lot to get a permit. We
prayed doors would open and we could go. Praise God He heard us again. The
permit was easy to get.
The
walk and climb was not so easy but praise the Lord and the help of Buyck &
Cornelius we all made it up the mountain. We have pictures to show you. We had a
precious time. We took communion and prayed and prophesied over NM.
Another
good report. When I arrived back from Texas it was time to start school and no
teacher. Bro. Bill who has been here about a year, building a church back on the
reservation, surprised me. He and said, “I'll help out a few hours in the
morning before I go to work.” He has been a God Send. Shane is back with me,
so the three of us, none whom are schoolteachers, are teaching four children.
Another student is to start Monday. I could not turn Lori’s mother down when
she said, we will not put Lori in school if she can’t come here. She said
can’t you just home school her? Praise the Lord I know God is going to send us
a real teacher but I am so thankful for the help I have now.
I
can’t close this without saying another thank you to David and Christy Kanagy
and their wonderful group that came and helped in so many ways to get things
ready for Celebrating The Feast Days.
I
was doubly blessed to have my son Ray for a whole week. He brought lots of
clothes and food for the pantry. He was my “honey do” for a few days. He is
blessing to me.
Please
keep praying for a full time teacher.

80th Family Birthday Celebration , |
My
Children honored me on my birthday, I've just returned from a week of whirlwind
excitement, fun and celebration. My children rose up and blessed tremendously
for my 80th birthday. I wish everyone could have been there. I had never seen a
chocolate fountain, nor had I ever seen a fruit arrangelment so high. If things
on earth can be beautiful, my what will heaven be like?
Feast of
Tabernacle:
October
6 & 7 will be our Feast of Tabernacle. We are looking forward to a
great
time in the Lord. Bro. Tommy Nunn will be our main speaker, also this year We
will have local pastors come in and bless us with their messages. Of course we
will serve mutton stew and fry bread, along with Buycks McGowan's famous
brisket. Everyone is invited!
Remember
in Prayer:
Pat
Leavitt (The lady who does our website) Her husband John passed away last month.
Remember Pat and her son.
Pray
for the family of Eloise Martinez. she was killed in a car wreck Eloise was one
of our very faithful elderly ladies.
Beverly
Poole will be having heart surgery.
CFAN
& those who will be joining us this year.
Why
Stand With Israel:
Have
your church to join the thousands of churches throughout America to pray for
Israel on October 1st.
We
could well be the people of the last hour in history. We are called by God to
not despise prophecy, to pray, intercede, to do Kingdom business until he comes.
(Luke 19: 13) Scripture declares that all nations will turn against Israel. We
are seeing this today.
Every
believer is charged to make the Jew priority in our lives and to render
thanksgiving from our hearts for Gods word and Gods work through them to us as a
people. God has made them priority in His life. He chose a man, Abraham, and
said that through his seed all nations of the earth would be blessed. He
fulfilled this promise through Isaac, Abraham's Son.
In
Genesis 12:3 the Lord says in the covenant he makes with Abraham; " I will
bless those who bless you I will curse those who curse you." (Romans 9:4)
"Who are the Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the
covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises of whom
according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed
God." Amen
THE
ADOPTION: God's divine choice of the seed of Abraham as a people.
THE
GLORY: The manifest presence of God revealing himself.
THE
COVENANTS: commitments that God makes.
1. The Abrahamic Covenant: God says, "I will give you a people and a land, and through this seed the nations of the earth will be blessed."
2.
The mosaic Covenant the revelation of the law, given as a teaching means
to lead us to Christ; redemption, through
the blood of the Iamb.
3. The
New Covenant: In Jeremiah and Ezekiel, God says in words almost parallel:
"I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts. I will be their God and they will be my
people."
The
Greatest Gift:
God
so loved that he gave His only begotten Son. He gave Him through the Jews, Jesus
told the Samaritan Women, "Salvation is of the Jews." We are now
dealing with the roots of everything that has to do with the revelation of God
to mankind. The proof of this is the very existence of the Jews as a people and
the fact they have been recovered as a nation. In the year 70 and again 135 the
Roman Empire put down Jewish revolts in Judea, destroying Jerusalem and sending
hundreds of thousands of Jews into slavery & exile. Today they are building
a Jewish Army. the first in 2000 years; they survived three great wars the first
in 1948-49, 1967 and 1973. When you receive the Lord you become a Jew by
adoption. (Romans 2:28-29; Gal 3:2629)(Lev. 25:23; Deut. 32:43; 2Chron 7:20;
Ps 85: 1-2 Isaiah 8:8; Jeremiah 2:7; Ez 38: 16; Joel 1:6; 2: 18; 3:2; Hosea 9:3;
Zero 9: 16) Israel is:
I. A tiny piece of property that God has made pronouncements about.
2. God's people to whom he has given the land. This is a
major issue with our creator and it is non-negotiable. The land belongs to God
and has been covenanted to Abraham and his off spring through Isaac forever.
The
forces opposed to Israel are not simply people who don't like the Jews. These
are forces greater than humanity. They are spiritual forces, they will never be
overthrown politically or by persuasion; they can only be broken by intercessory
prayer where principalities and powers are cast down. The same spirit driving
these animosities is equally opposed to Christians as to Jews and in time will
eventually bring persecution to both. Just as scripture states there are two
witnesses that will be put to death in Jerusalem. At the very end (Revelation
II: 1-12) there have been two groups of witnesses that have stood for God
throughout history. The Jew and the Christian.

Love
You,
My heart was saddened as
I ministered to an elderly Navajo lady today. She is a beautiful Christian whom
I've known for many years. It was hard to believe the anguish, torment and fears
she has been going through for so long. She said, her brother had moved into her
home some years ago. He was a medicine man. He was old and not well and went
from her home to a nursing home where he passed away. His children moved his
things out of her house leaving one item, which they did not want to fool with.
They told her to just leave it there. It was in a flour sack hanging on a nail
in the ceiling. They all knew he was a medicine man and superstition made them
not want to touch it. I don't know how long this thing has tormented her. Some
of her friends just found out about it and they came for me. She said it would
sing and argue with her. She would argued back with it all hours of the night
and have horrible dreams or nightmares. She had asked other ministers and lay
people to tell her what to do and they just said leave it alone. No one wanted
to touch it.
Well needless to say. I went to the lady’s house, prayed for her, took the
flour sack with it's object inside, down from the ceiling and threw it outside.
We prayed and cleared the house from all evil spirits. I did look into the sack
and a leather pouch was in there. l knew this would be a medicine mans
paraphernalia. Myself along with two of my Navajo friends. Rosita and Stanley,
took it outside and burned it. This lady cried and cried tears of joy praying
and praising God this thing would not bother her anymore. As I come home all
could think of was Isaiah 14: 16 (Is this the man who shook the earth and made
kingdoms tremble). In other words. Look at him (speaking of the devil ) he is
nothing, and has to bow at the name of Jesus. We have all authority over him
through Jesus blood, name, The Holy Spirit and His word. I cringe to
think how a silly object in a flour sack can bring such torment tot a person.
Now whether you choose to believe in evil spirits or not, One thing for is sure,
I live among a nation of people who live in constant fear and agony because they
strongly believe in these things. Many are Christians but they do not know
“Resist Satan and he will flee from you.” How can they know without
teachers?
Our
needs:
A TEACHER! OUR CHILDREN WILL BE SO DISSAPOINTED IF WE HAVE TO SAY, SORRY NO
SCHOOL THIS YEAR. I DONT BELIEVE THAT IS WHAT GOD WANTS.
Are you the one who is suppose to come? I have to believe for a teacher.
Good News:
The
lady we mentioned at the beginning of the letter came over and gave a wonderful
testimony. She is sleeping peacefully now in her home. No more visits from the
devil.
Please don't forget to pray for our Nation, Our president and leaders,
and that no pressure will ever make the U.S withdraw help from Israel. Pray for
Israel Pray for our children who have to attend public schools today. That
teachers will stand for truth and godliness in the classrooms and will refuse to
teach the things that are opposite the word of God. Let’s Keep our young
people covered in prayer.
Pray these will come before winter:
We
need a good plumber, to fix the pipes that freeze in our schoolroom bathrooms.
Someone
to check and see everything is winterized.
Gravel
our roads from the Dome downhill.
Some
plumbing repair to our icemaker.
Someone
to come out and oversee the roofing of the Dome. It would be good to have this
done before winter.
We
will need to put up some fencing around the new building. None of these are
major but they are much needed.
Pray for Our Navajo Pastors and Churches, I see growth in many especially
at Christian Worship Center. We are growing in number and in The Spirit.. Some
at Nageezi are becoming stronger. There is still much strife in their community.
We have a few newcomers on Tuesday night. When groups come in we go pick
up. One lady commented (It is so good to come back and see all our family.) They
have such good fellowship when they come together here.
Visitors:
Melvin
and Lisa Knox.
They are such a nice couple. They would be a blessing here, but like others they
need a miracle at their home to be able to come.
Daniel Bedgood, I had a great visit with my grandson. He did not stay
long enough. One of his most enjoyable days was spent playing softball with the
Navajo. I found out he is a good ball player.
Harvest Time Assembly Murfreesboro Arkansas.
Bro Shinn's messages began the trend that went through each group
encouraging all Christians to rise up and become praisers and servants. (DO YOU
THINK YOU ARE TO OLD TO DO ANY THING FOR THE LORD?) Some
older ladies always come with this group and they amaze me. One is 82 years
young and teaches the youth. Their VBS lessons were based on standing up for
Christ, Obeying his word, Getting ready (this is preparing yourself to be a
witness) then standing strong.
The Holy Spirit gave us a special visit on Tuesday night as they led us in
praise and worship. I always look forward to fresh vegetables and good garden
foods as well as the great spiritual food when Murfreesboro comes.
Mary Alice Moore and her wonderful group from Nashville Arkansas, what a
joy it has been to watch some of these youth mature over the years. Mesha amazed
me with the devotions she had so carefully put together. They would read the
scripture their lesson was based on for the day then each one shared what it was
saying to them. Most devotions ended in tears of joy as the scripture came so
alive in each heart. The whole group seemed so eager to obey authority and
quickly rose to do anything an elder asked. I know the heart of God is that
Christians who have just sat on a church pew for years would rise up and take
their place in the sharing of the Gospel. Mary Alice's messages were also geared
in that direction. She was able to bring a peace and understanding to some that
were so confused. They ministered night and day in VBS and cooked gourmet
meals. They brought me close to a bushel of peaches, tomatoes and cucumbers.
Wow, we are always so grateful.
The Holts, Jay & Lisa from Lawrenceville Baptist Church, This is
another group that has built good relations at the Kimbeto Church. Bro Jay
ministered in revival and mornings were filled ministering in VBS. All of these
people amaze me. I've watched this church come from not even knowing how to have
a VBS and today they could go on the road teaching churches. I am so thankful
for the years of experience I received at Sardis Baptist Church, God prepared me
to bring it to the Navajo Nation and today most any church you walk into in a 50
mile radius, you will see a banner, flags or something we have placed there
mostly through YBS. Lawrenceville Church took us on a trip to Hawaii in their
school. They had a wonderful youth group. They sang and did sign songs and
brought the word alive to the children.
Upper Room from Columbia, Ohio led by Greg and Marta Acres. was another
big blessing. When they arrived we used plastic tablecloths and towels along
with buckets to catch the water from bad leaks in the Dome. Praise the Lord they
climbed up there fixed the roof then-worked on my roof and three Navajo roofs.
Then they built a wheelchair ramp on a house. The youth and Marta surprised us
all with the yard work they did digging ditches and moving big rocks, cleaning
and cooking. Then at night they became this awesome band ministering in the
churches. Their bands name is Yadah, which is a Hebrew word for praise. Greg
taught using lots of visual aids, which made his message so clear.
Throughout this summer ministry there has been salvations and rededications as
The Precious Word of God has gone in so many directions. Oh How I thank every
person that came to minister to our Navajo. You bring light into their very
dark days. You encourage them and bring them hope. They remember you all year
and speak of you often.
God
Bless You

Here it is the middle of June, May passed so quickly I hardly new what month it was. The dedication was lovely. It was busy, but God sent exactly whom we needed to keep everything going smooth. All of our wonderful Board Members attended, except Clifford & Bookie Baker. The Bakers, who are my sister and Brother in Law, are not well and could not make the long trip. We had a Board meeting and invited Brian and Marcey Whatley, and Buddy and Jan Greer to become board members. They graciously accepted.
During the Dedication, we had several speakers, including each board member. Each person built on what the others shared. The Holy Spirit’s presence filled the place. Brother Tommy Nunn from Dallas was one of our speakers. He shared a beautiful word, when he finished Ray said, "Mother, last night, in my dreams, I saw that man giving that same message to you." I wish we had recorded the messages. Some of his words were as follows: This would be a place of holiness, where many people would come and their lives would be changed.
Fran Roland's wife, son, daughter and their families joined us for the dedication. We were blessed to have them with us. Brother Terry Beatty spoke of the many people who had come from near and very far away to work on the building. Many sacrifices made of their time and money. The dormitory rooms were lovely and comfortable. I kept thinking of Fran's word to me the night before he went to be with Jesus. He said, "I have to bring Mary Ann out here, it is just like being at an Old Fashioned Camp Meeting." Praise God that’s what we had. An old Fashioned Camp meeting and it was so enjoyable, everyone was saying we will have to make this an annual event I pray we can do that and many of you can join us. Each speaker added to and confirmed what the other speakers had said. There was great emphasis put on the importance of much prayer in our lives today.
The Greer's did and excellent job decorating the Louisiana room. We are still working on some of the other rooms. Jan McGowan decorated the meeting room and other rooms with her very special touch, then her and Buck stayed on to help us get ready for the graduation. Buyck blessed us with lots of his special barbecue.
We ordained Rena Todacheene. Lankford Moore encouraged and charged her with his message. Sunday morning she shared how blessed she was to be ordained and how serious she took her calling. She carries a heavy burden for her people. There are such wonderful people in this world.
I was surprised when they presented me with a beautiful Bronze Plaque, it even had my picture on it. Then I was presented an envelope with lots of money in it from many of you. I was going to deposit it in the mission account, but Marcey was present, she stopped me and said that is for you, just for you. Again I was very surprised but happy and blessed and OH! How I thank everyone who made all this possible. The beautiful building made for the Lord's service. The extra funds sent by many of you, which made the meeting so precious. I will not try to name all that came, I am grateful that you did. I know you left blessed and you were a blessing to us. Everyone was cleaning and helping.
Ken and Joan did and excellent job serving breakfast to everyone here. Then at lunch and dinner we invited some of our Navajo's to come cook and sell their food to us, it worked out so good. None of our guest or staff had to stay in the kitchen and miss any services. We closed the food lines in time for everyone to go inside.
I have so many people to thank this month. I won't try to send thank you's or even write on each newsletter as I have been doing. I just want you to know you are so appreciated!
This ministry, this work is very hard and when we hear from you in any way and know that you are with us, we are not doing this alone, you can't imagine how it lifts us up and makes us keep going another day.
Thank you for
extra funds sent to help out with food, staff, the Plaque, personal moneys.
Thank you for everything! Every morning lately as I have had my devotions, I
seem to find more and more scriptures concerning helping the poor. I remember
when God first began to 1ay this on my heart and we were so poor. My sister gave
me most of the clothes my children wore. I took good care of them and I would
take boxes full of clothing and anything I could find and give to other poor
families. I will have to say, as the scripture (Seek ye first the Kingdom of God
and His righteousness) became so alive in me, I saw God as he began to bless us
untold. I was not seeking him for what he would give me, I fell desperately in
love with Him and wanted everything I did to please Him. I saw Him honor his
word as our lifestyle began to change so fast, often it would frighten me. My
husband and I both knew it was blessings from our God. When I see him do so many
things here I don't understand, I sometimes feel, like the Angels who are
assigned to just fall before him and say Glory, Glory, Glory. He is Lord.
May His blessings follow each of you as you give of yourself and what you have (it matters not if it is much or little). Remember he says if you do it to the least of these, my brother, you are doing it to me.

David Kanagy, Kristi and 5 other wonderful people from Lynside Mennonite church in Lynnhurst, VA, gave so graciously and accomplished much. Carlton, another great blessing every time they come, put a new windshield in our Van. Hallelujah! They also did some plumbing repairs and started the outside brick wall to hold the waters back behind the Fran Roland building, This group saw the need & they went and bought brick-like blocks, and had them delivered. It would normally take a month to just get the materials delivered. Thanks to this group, we now have a new couch, love seat, a beautiful lamp, and many other things that everyone will enjoy when you come out. Daniel spoke of being so full of Jesus till our cup runneth over.

Evergreen Academy is a lovely group of 16 children & 7 adults, led by Headmaster Chris Lierheimer. The children did and excellent job of presenting a message through puppets and dramas. Chris brought a good word to both children and adults. They took the children to the public school where they read to our Navajo, then did their dramas and puppet shows. What I think they enjoyed most was playing with the Navajo children and climbing our mesa's. They had great chaperones and the children were very well behaved. It gives me joy to see so many people from so many different places and stages in their lives, come together here, hand in hand to do the Lords work. We get to see a little touch of what heaven will be like.

Larry Ham and his wife, from River of Life Church in Durant, OK , moved the people everywhere we went with their beautiful Praise and Worship. Doug Lott, his pastor, what a man, like the apostle Paul, God had made such a change in his life. He is a powerhouse for Jesus now. They all pitched in and completed the outside wall. Larry and Doug brought some of the people who have gone through their drug rehab center and they were giving testimony of the things Jesus had done in their life. They bought carpet and Doug worked furiously on carpeting our platform.

Things
may look terrible in our world but when these groups come out we get to see and
hear the wonderful things our God is doing as he gets ready to sound that that
last trumpet.
Many
spiritual needs were met. There were two professions of faith. The front was
filled with people weeping and rededicating their lives to the Lord in different
meetings. The youth told us about one young man who was taking meth. They have
watched him change. Now he reads and studies his Bible every day, using a
dictionary to help with words he does not understand. That is what it is all
about.
Jackie
Jacobsen & Lillian left us today. It is always sad the moming teams leave.
They are such a blessing while here. Lillian had a servant's heart and was
constantly giving of herself and passing out coffee and goodies which they
brought plenty of. Jackie being a Sioux speaks freely and knowledgably to the
Indian people. She understands them and they her. She gave a good example of
laying your burdens down and how it is impossible to receive what God has for
you if you are loaded down with all your burdens. You must become obsessed with
Jesus and not the things of the world. WOW, good teaching! Thanks!
Fifteen
days until our big dedication. If you will not be here pray for us. When I think
of the many people who have sacrificed so much to build the Fran Roland
Building, It brings tears to my eyes. I so want it to bring glory and honor to
our precious Lord through multitudes being saved. I stand in awe every day at
all the things our God does here at CFAN.
Thanks
to all of you who have helped us see another great victory!
Prayer
requests:
VBS
and summer ministry to be very effective for Jesus.
Ken ( our teacher this year) and his wife Joan will be leaving
us to go to Guatemala if all goes well. They have been a great blessing. Now
we need a teacher by September 1 st. By faith we are enrolling students.
Believing God will send us a teacher.
For
a great revival where many Navajo come and receive the word.
We
have some one trying to put curses upon us. The word says: He whom God has
blessed no man can curse. So praise God their curses are harmless. The devils
plans will go right back to him. Do keep us covered in prayer.

April 2006 Lybrook News
God is so good. Each year at The Feast of Tabernacles I like to teach on
HIS Provision, Protection, and Providential Guidance.
I received an invitation to the 20th anniversary of New Life in Jesus
Church in Arkansas. I had no intention of going anywhere at the time because
Joan was gone and only Shane and Ken were here. There were so many reasons I
felt I needed to stay right here. But before I even gave thought to my answer, I
heard myself saying, “I'll be there”. It was like I was being drawn to make
the trip. The day I was to head back to New Mexico, I had a call from two of my
children saying I was needed at home in Louisiana. It was obvious to my family
how the providential guidance of our Lord had taken me that close to Alexandria
and I was able to drive right on down. I was really needed. My son's wife had
left him. This son and his wife were always in church serving the Lord. I could
not believe they had allowed Satan to come in and play havoc in their home. I
covet your prayers for them and many homes the devil is trying to destroy. We
all need to pray and pray until we see the hand of Almighty God move in
restoration and forgiveness. Probably every home that receives this letter has
in one way or the other been touched by divorce or separation.
The
word of God is the only thing that produces righteousness in a person's life. It
washes and cleanses and keeps us clean when we when we read and meditate on it.
Four of our Navajo families are having marital problems. The Sheriff and his
wife have separated. Bill returned telling of how his son and wife had separated
but are now back together and in church. Thank God, this is what we want to hear
about all the other couples. Whatsoever God hath put together let no man put
asunder.

Notes
Virgil
Atencio, Nina's son went to be with the Lord this morning Palm Sunday at 6:10. I
spent the night in the hospital in Albuquerque with his family. It was a night
of both sadness and praise. This boy was such a good Christian. He was a always
praying for his family. One of his Aunt's who had gone far away from God
rededicated her life to Him by Virgil's bedside. We had communion in the room
and it was so sweet. You could feel the presence of the Lord. The night before
Virgil asked his sister to open the door, then he said open it wide, she did. He
then said close it. She asked, why did you want the door opened? He replied; to
let the Angels in.

Micah
from Campbellsville College in Kentucky, brought a lovely group of five young
ladies to help us this month. They worked around the Campus and ministered in
some churches with skits and songs in sign language. Everyone enjoyed them.
Micah brought a wonderful message.
He is majoring in TV engineering, but I told him I think God will call
him into the pulpit. What an honor to have these youth, who could have been
basking in the sun in Florida on their break, but they chose to serve God in
this remote, dry, dead area of the world.

we do not lose heart.' Galatians 6:9

Dedication
I get more excited each day about the dedication of the Fran Roland
building. Join us in prayer that everything will come together.
This is
your invitation. Let us know how many will be coming!
Speakers will include some of our board, Navajo Speakers, Tom White,
William Lee, and Tommy Nunn, grandson of David Nunn a great evangelist. Included
also is David Herzog, author of the book "Mysteries of the glory"
which includes a forward written by Ruth Ward Heflin in which she says; God is
using David Herzog, through signs and wonders to span this generations in the
most recent wave of glory that is sweeping Europe and America.
We
quote this verse for Israel often: And He will destroy in this mountain the
face of the covering cast over all the people, and the veil that is spread
over all nations.
There
is a veil that covers large segments of mankind and the globe. And the origin of
this veil is the original progenitor, Adam. Now God has chosen at various times
in history to lift the veil. Devine revelation has flowed very specifically in
certain people, cultures and places.
Pray
with us the spiritual veil will be lifted in the Navajo Nation May 26 -29th at
CFAN in Lybrook. New Mexico. Their eyes will be opened to the true Messiah

We
have been asking everyone to pray for The Chapter Houses, they are so filled
with fraud. Speaking of Nageezi and Counselor. Nageezi burned with all the
papers of course being burned up. They suspect arson. Pray God will raise up
God-fearing Christian Navajo's and place them in these government positions
The New Navajo President has now opened the door for the first casino on the
reservation.
Revival
and Dedication of Francis Roland Building
Revival
and dedication is set for May 26, 27, 28, & 29th. We are putting together
our program for the dedication and are really getting excited. It has been so
long since we started the building. Hallelujah, it is almost finished!
Two
groups will be coming out soon. We pray we can get a nice aluminum refrigerator,
a commercial stove, and all the chairs we need. God has done so much I know
these finishing touches are a minor task for him, We encourage all who have
worked on this building and all our supporters, please try to come to the
dedication. Some of you may need to bring blow up mattresses. When the rooms run
out I think we will have plenty of floor space and also there are motels in Cuba
and Farmington.
We are praying
for a spiritual tsunami. God is the same yesterday, today and forever and he
says "greater things shall we do." It is time for us to believe for
great miracles to happen; blind eyes to open and the lame to walk. Please pray,
believing with us. Marriages restored. Homes to again be places filled with love
and security for the children.

Emerson
and Rosita are together again. It broke my heart to see Shania when they
separated. She loves her daddy so much even though he was doing all kinds of
terrible things. They went to Navajo family court and after hearing all the
reasons they should continue this marriage and have a home for these children.
They have decided to work on the marriage. Emerson has a large collection of
awful music and things he does not need. He has promised me he will bring it to
the church and we can have a big bonfire. Hopefully many more in the church
Area will do the same thing with all this trash that only invites satan into
their home. Keep us in prayer as we teach and counsel these people.
Our
Tuesday night service has been good. Ken is a good Bible teacher. Different
people are coming and wanting us to start Sunday church. I've wanted that for
some time but don't want to start unless we have people who will stay here. I
can't do it alone.
Our
school Is growing we have four new students. They seem to be more interested in
school now.
Valentine's
Banquet
Our
Valentine's Banquet was a big success. They
sold tickets for the youth to make a trip. It was the largest crowd of
visitors ever. Everything went beautifully.
Marcey Whatley and Jan McGowan came out to help me this month. Marcey worked on
my books preparing them for our bookkeeper. Praise The Lord. They were a great
blessing to me. I know Brian was glad to see Marcey come home; as he was mom and
dad to Caleb and Joshua, plus taking care of his business. God is so all knowing
He sent Jan at the perfect time. We were having a little Valentine Banquet for
the students and no one here is very good at decorations. The picture to the
left will show you one of her many talents. Isn't our God Awesome!
To
those of you who met Loretta, who lived in the tent while she was pregnant, I
met with her yesterday. I went into Kentucky Fried Chicken, and there she was
working behind the counter. She and her boyfriend both have jobs now and live
with her mother in Bloomfield. I talked to her about getting them married and
she says they have been talking about it and do want to get married.
"Therefore
encourage one another and build up one another: " 1 Thessalonians 5:11
The U. S. Supreme Court has just passed another bill. A church in Albuquerque is now allowed to use a tea they drink to hallucinate, because they say it makes them closer to god. I'm sure it does, but to what god? This is not an Indian church.
Other churches
are praying and using the corn pollen in their foyers. Many churches do not
understand the Indians religions and the meanings of their traditions. They join
right along in worship to their god and it is not the same god we serve. They
have now added the crescent moon to their cymbals in the peyote ceremonies. This
of course comes from the moon god worshiped in the Middle East today.
Prayer
Requests
Pray for Israel
For if you
remain silent at this time relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from
another place, but you and your Fathers house will perish. Yet who knows whether
you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this.
Dick Carmack
was quest speaker at one of our Navajo Pastor Meetings he spoke on The Ten
Commandments. One of the Navajo had already shown me a plaque of " The
Commandments" on a piece of rugged tile. It looked like stone it was so
neat. what a nice present to be given to anyone, anywhere. It is also a
wonderful way to get Gods word, his laws in every home and business. Lets all do
our part to keep these commandments in our homes and before our families eyes.
Many of you
have heard me speak often of The Wonderful lady, Sue Anthony, who has given me
all the clothes I wear, for many years now. She also has lovely homes she has
allowed me and many other missionaries to stay in when we are in her town. Her
husband John just passed away. Please keep her and all his family in your
prayers. He was a very special man. Gave and left untold amounts of money to
missions and good organizations. John Anthony he will be missed by many.
Pray for
Ken our Teacher and Principal. His wife Joan has gone back home to Illinois for
two months. Her brother is recovering from an operation and she has gone to get
their taxes taken care of and minister to her brother.
Shane is
such a blessing to have around. He has made friends with a lot of youth and is
going to concerts and different places so he is not so lonely. He is also lots
of help to me. Keep him in prayer he wants to be a youth leader one day. He
loves the Lord.
Winter
is a bad time for the Navajo. All this week has been below 10°, very dry. Most
of the men are laid off from work. They get far behind on their bills and it is
hard for them to catch up. This week began with Darren calling to see if he
could come over and work for gas money. Of course I said yes even though I did
not really need him that day. I gave Darren $30.00 for a couple hours helping me
in the house. The same day a couple came and said, their water was going to be
cut off it not paid and the government housing would put them out if the water
was turned off. This was Loretta’s family. They said you are the only person
they knew to come to, so I paid their water bill which was close to $60.00. Then
Lori comes in with the sad story of no butane, they are behind in their solar
bill and it is cut off. There is no end to the needs. I wonder if we could go to
all the houses behind us and what kind of conditions we would find. Pray for me
to have discernment and make the right decisions.
Our
gas bill alone rose from $340.53 in Nov. to $966.72 in Dec. We try to be good
stewards of all God gives us so we drained our pipes in the new building and are
only keeping our school room heated. The children are going to the Dome to use
the bathroom and it is working out alright.
Construction
on our road close to my house is being done. They have dug deep ditches over the
pipe line and poured concrete and say they are going to grade it. PRAY they will
gravel it.
Ben
Fender, a wonderful young man, and the leader of ( Spin Four) a juggling group
who had made several ministry trips to CFAN, was playing the strangling game and
hung himself. When I asked a Pastor, "How could he, a strong Christian do
this?" He answered me, "He must have been deceived by Satan to think
this was not sin." There were no drugs or alcohol involved. Satan has come
to kill, steal, and destroy. We must pray to find a way to keep our youth from
this deception. Life is so precious. Please let's not play around with it so
carelessly

Delores Paas & Dawn Poche" We thank you and your families and friends very much
I had two dreams that troubled me and I shared with some of you. We know that fervent prayer can change any situation, or attack from the enemy. One of my dreams was a great wind coming to America, like nothing we have ever seen before. I don't know if it is a spiritual wind or a physical wind.
As I watched the man on Fox news
speak of how we should prepare the , children for emergencies that might happen
and the threat that the next attack would be felt in our homes. I was glad I
gave my children a new book by Perry Stone Christmas. It is entitled Unveiing the Beast.
We are in war, not with countries so much as Satan and the only way to fight him is with the weapons Jesus has given us. To me this is another call to pray. Thank God for those of you who have been on the 21 days of fasting and praying. I've just returned from Nageezi going from house to house praying for everyone. Seems the devil has been having a hay day causing sickness and marital problems keep them in your prayers
Tuesday night after service and we had lots of clothes to give away. A little girl liked her pajama's so much she had to put them on right then.
Shane Collier has just finished carving our sign for the Fran Roland Building. We have found him to be a great artist. Continue to pray with us for a great move of God at the dedication. And for our VBS coming up.
Before we call many times He answers. I was concerned wondering how will we pay $1000,00 a month for gas alone in the houses. Then while having lunch in Farmington a couple ( some of my new friends.) saw me invited me up to their office and gave me a nice donation. Then when I opened my mail and saw the sizable memorial gift. from Dawn's friends and family. Delores had already taken care of our funds needed to clear things concerning the bus accident with her family memorial gift. I gave a big hallelujah knowing that God was taking care of us. He always knows right where we are and what we need and when we need it He is truly awesome!
We appreciate you sending your prayer request. We are seeing God answer so many prayers.
What a beautiful day we have. The
food bank is open with lots of food today. Our music teachers are teaching music
to our students and my day to teach them the Bible, service tonight in our Dome,
so I'm blessed. I also have a volunteer helping me in the office for this day.

What the Lord Has Done
Many
thanks to our sponsors and faithful supporters! All fixtures, plumbing, and
heating for the Fran Roland building have been provided. Last year, we sent out
a list of all our needs, and God has blessed us through you. Its amazing what
God has done, over $20,000 of materials, were donated.
Dedication
for this building is scheduled for May. We hope that everyone who has helped in
any way will clear their calendars and come celebrate with us. We still need a
few items for the dorm rooms; chairs for the dining and fellowship hall, and for
the students' academy, and a refrigerator.
Brother
Al Paas went to be with the Lord, the first part of December. Memorial gifts
received from James and Gerder Phoenix, and Gerald and Dorothy Buchanan.Thank
you.
Bus Accident
The
lawsuit concerning the bus accident was settled out of court. An agreement was
reached for $5,000. For this we are very thankful! Continue to pray that all of
the other medical expenses will be taken care of.
What a Wonderful Christmas
Alex's
team from Dallas came to help us through Christmas week. They assisted us in
meeting our agreement with the inspector. They also quickly put together a
drama, which we took to the Chapter House for the Headstart Children, along with
gifts for each child. We also provided gifts for Christian Worship Center's
annual hayride and caroling. Another church called and asked if we could help
them with some gifts, and we were able to send gifts over to their children.
Alex
and Manning gave a wonderful message to our Navajo people at our Christmas
service. There was not any standing room left.
“If
we love one another, God abides in us, and his love has been perfected in us.”
1st John 4:12
His
is blessings never end, they are new every morning. I am here in Louisiana
visiting my precious family .My grand children are helping me with this
newsletter. My son is advising me as I buy a new car. I have another great
grandbaby on the way, this will be number 14. My children, Ray, Max, Bo, Bobby.
Myra, Tim, and Leah are very blessed and such a blessing to me, with their
wonderful spouses. My 14 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, we are a big
happy family.
My
Navajo family is even larger. Ken and Joan, our new helpers, are holding down
the mission while I'm away. Shane and Alana went home to their families for the
holidays. Alana took Darren Charlie to her home for a visit. I know he is having
lots of fun in Virginia.
We
covet your prayers as we enter 2006, that Jesus will be lifted up higher and
higher in New Mexico through CF AN. He promises to draw all men to himself if we
lift him up. God bless you and thank you for a wonderful year.
Lazelle
Wishing you a Merry
Christmas
November has been great. Beautiful weather which allowed us to deliver lots of food and clothing to our people. So many stories I could tell you of neat things that have happened. Shane is working around here, teaching Art and P. E. Lorie one of our students does not like PE but she needs it most of all. She is such a sweet little girl. But has consumed much fry bread and is over weight so its hard for her to keep up with the others.
It is a joy to see some of the children stay after school just to talk to Ken. One young man who's father passed away really enjoys his company. We are all glad to have Joan back and her daughter is doing well. We had a nice Thanksgiving Dinner with the students and their parents. The boys always like carving the Turkey, they even washed dishes. They always serve their parents and us.
We invited the plumber to lunch. He was installing our heaters that day and has helped us a lot.
Thank you for the Memorial Gifts
In honor of Bobby McQueen Tioga, La. given by The Willing Workers SS Class at Alpine Church.
In honor of Fran Rolland given by CFNI Maintenance Crew.
Our Wonderful Praise Report
Some of you may not know. The Inspector came and Praise the Lord we passed inspection. Now we have to finish our parking lot and move a lot of dirt and buy a lot of gravel get a bobcat and have it spread. We had to do a few other little minor things. He has given us a grace period until Jan 10th to have the grounds all in order. Do pray we have it all done. Pray no water pipes burst and we find what is causing some of our pipes to freeze. Ken and Shane have been insulating everything they can find and we are running a lot of heaters on high to prevent them bursting. With gas and electricity as expensive as it is we can't do this long.
We pray our Christmas will be as great as Thanksgiving was. It is so good to show the love of Jesus through your gifts and prayers I will be teaching The Love Chapter this week. I love teaching the Love of God but always feel I can't do it justice. His love is so great. We all look forward to Kens teaching on The Blood Covenant.
Ray came loaded down with so many good things Christmas gifts, diapers, new clothes, food I saw lots of lotions health items and will go over in a couple of days and begin to separate and make ready for our wonderful service.
Again we say Thank you to everyone that has sent. Maybe some of you have not sent yours yet. It is now that time. Christmas is upon us. We must keep The Spirit of Christmas strong as man is trying to do away with all that stands for Christ.
The Lord blessed me again with a visit from Danny Leah, Daniel, Drew & Ray, He was able to stay a couple of days with us through Thanksgiving.
October
was truly a beautiful month starting school and visits from friends and family.
We
celebrated our 20th Feast of Tabernacles. Guest speakers where Jackie
Jacobson, Tulley, Butler, Brian Whatley, Buyck and Jan McGowan. We had lots of
good praise and worship and other speakers as well. Christian Worship Center
butchered a lamb and we all feasted on mouton.
The
Dome was never so lovely thanks to Jan and Jackie. Marcie worked on my books.
Stan, Buyck, Brian, Caleb, the ladies, Alana and Shawn really worked hard
cooking, serving, and cleaning. There is always so much to do. God Bless them.
The
men also installed a new heater in Ken and Joan’s little house. They kept
coming to school drowsy and not feeling well. They said they smelled gas. We
called the Gas Co. and they sent some one out. He said the carbon monoxide was
really high. We are so thankful we found it in time and they are well. Thanks to
Bobby they have a new refrigerator.
Praise
the Lord The plumbing inspector came and we passed. They told us to move in.
Today the school children will help Ken, Shawn and Alana move all the things we
had moved back to the Dome into The Fran Roland Building. It has been a long
time of hanging in their knowing one day we would occupy. There are still a lot
of things we need to do but they are very minor to what we have already done
with God's help and yours. Thank everyone that has had a part in this great
victory. We look forward to dedicating the building in spring and pray every one
of you will be here to see your works first hand. They were all so excited when
I told them yesterday.
Vickie
a dear lady, who came last year with a group from Minnesota, made us some
curtains. She has moved close to Belen and has come up to make curtains for our
Dorm rooms. Yesterday she went with Deborah and me to buy the materials and to
buy groceries for the Navajo Food Pantry. We wore her out as well as myself but
it felt so good to purchase so much food for our pantry. My van and Kens van
were both full and today I will get a load of potatoes and some other things.
Thanks to Activation Ministries, from Denver, who made this possible? The Lord
never ceases to amaze me in the things he does.
Pray
we get everything together for Christmas it is coming so soon. We have lots of
food right now to give out for Thanksgiving, also lots of clothes. There is much
to do to just get ready for our Christmas Service. We have a big group of youth
coming at Christmas to help.
Keep
us in your prayers.
Lazelle
Dearly
Beloved.
We
are seeing the things I heard of as a little child all happening so fast I am
asking myself the question. What will happen next. Will a new hurricane come
to our coast lines or will it be a big California earthquake.
I
would love to turn on the news and hear of a great revival coming to America.
I heard Chuck Pierce give a prophetic word today on TV he said: a great
revival is coming to Central America. He named St Louis as being a big part of
it. Oh that it would be so in many cities and here among the Navajo.
Over
500 churches and International leaders are rallying millions of believers from
many church backgrounds to unite in prayer. Setting aside the first Sunday of
October as the (day of prayer for the peace of Jerusalem). Praying for God's
promise of peace to be realized for all inhabitants of this historic city. We
will be participating in this day of prayer. At this time it is so important
to pray for Israel, our nation and our president.
I
am praising the Lord. Ken & Joan Hester our teachers have arrived. Please
keep them and me in prayer as they tackle all the things we have to do.
I have a very sweet young lady Alana Miller is here from Virginia. She came with her parents in the summer and wanted to come back and finish school with us.
Bill
is still here in the Hogan building the Baptist Church behind us. He has been
a lot of help to us also. Praise the Lord I am not alone.
Bobby
and Bo Powell two of my sons just paid me a visit. Oh how I enjoyed them they
treated me like a Queen and did not let me do anything for several days..
Thank
all of you who sent me the lovely birthday cards and gifts. I am now 79 and
getting younger.
I
had a very special day. Deborah and Dorothy, spent the day here. Giving away
food and clothing all day. We
cooked a good diner. I was at the food bank in town the day before and told
him how old I would be the next day. He gave me a German Chocolate cake one of
my favorites. We celebrated and had a good time.
Today
I begin training Ken & Joan. Tomorrow a few students will come in and all
will have on hands training. Lynn left the school in very good order for us to
pick up where she left off.
Our new missionaries needed a small-stacked washer and dryer. It is the only kind that will fit in the small house they are in (the one Paul and Lynn occupied.) Ray was able to find them a refrigerator in Dallas and some wonderful person paid for it. We are getting them all setup. Isn't God wonderful! They have been missionaries in the Philippians for three years and have little to begin housekeeping. Those of you who may be coming this way soon. Here is a list of things they need:
| small-stacked
washer and
dryer
toaster 2 lamps a silverware tray |
living
room
chair
vacuum microwave |
step
stool
cookie sheet cutting board |
We
received Memorial gifts for Lillie Mae Rabalais. Thank
You, Alpine Volunteer fire Department, and Curtis & Estelle Oaks. This is my
sister in law who passed away last week. Please pray for her children and
sisters. Ms, Frazier, my Son in Law's mother also passed away this week. They
had both been ill a long time. Nevertheless even when we know they are in a much
better place, waiting for us; the family will need much prayer as the days go by
to help heal the absence of their loved one. Only Jesus can give us the peace
that passeth our understanding.
We
are all looking forward to Bro Kens teaching. I am teaching a series on
Corinthians at CWC.
Prayer Requests
We have many things coming up and

good service.
¿Pray

Greetings
from Lybrook.
It
has been so nice and cool and the flowers are at their loveliest. I have
Paul’s dog and three kittens to keep me company and Bill the gentlemen working
on the Baptist Church close to Ojo Lucino is back from Louisiana. He brought us
food & clothing now he just finished all the fire alarm work. Praise God.
We
have had one of our busiest summers and I’ll have to say one of our best. God
has-moved in so many ways.
Duncanville
Foursquare (Tx.) led by Pastor Gary Osborne, what a team! The Ladies where
cleaning organizing all the time and the men working, non-stop. Yet they where
ministering in two churches every night with drama, skits, puppets and teaching
the Word. They brought and installed computers and printers and helped set up
the classroom. Not room to mention all everyone did.
My
family. Ray, his son Jeff & Karen & family & Trent. This was my
first time to see adorable Trent. Then, my granddaughter Ashley and her husband
Gary with their precious ones Haley & Brody. We had a wonderful visit. I
still have my great grandbabies hand prints to look at on my glass door. I had
some color crayons on the wa1l but the mothers did not let me keep them.
Precious memories.
A
group called the Upper Room was led by Greg Akers. They spent a whole day in my
house cleaning the blinds, windows and everywhere. They also installed a new
window and taught here and in church. Worked
in
my office such a tremendous help everywhere.
Altar'd
(La) A wonderful Christian Band My grandson is the drummer. I have to share
this. When Blake was very young, (he is now 14 yrs) he would say grandmother
when I get old I'm going to have my own band and the first place we will go is
to NM to play for the Indians. So I had to share the faith of a young boy who
has believed so strong God brought it to pass. It is not his band but he is a
major part of Altar'd and he is responsible for their coming. They were greatly
enjoyed. I believe God will do great things through them. Tim my son came with
them.
Dayton
Mennonite Church (Va.) They painted some of our outside buildings installed tile
at CWC fixed roof on Ms Francis house it was leaking on her bed hauled lots of
dirt in wheelbarrow's and filled many holes in our road caused by the rains.
They also brought copiers and a slide projector, projector screens, a new ping
pong table.
Every
group found many things to do not mentioned cooked lots of good food which I
always enjoy with them and kept all our piles of trash hauled away. What would
we do without each of you. I know I have not mentioned half you did but God
knows and he is the one who will reward you. Now, it was not all work for our
teenagers. They played ball, road horses, climbed Mesa's and mingled with our
Navajo youth joining them in music and fun.
The
Love of Jesus was shed abroad for another great summer. I Thank all of
You.
Many
Churches have been blessed with computers, copiers overhead projectors, and
thanks to Peggy Reilly we hope to get a few radios for some of our Navajo's.
These radio's are programmed to three Christian stations and that is all they
will pick up. This will be a great blessing to older Christians who may not be
able to go church and they can-enjoy teaching and preaching in Navajo.
Our School is lovely. All set up
and ready for the first day. Lynn did a wonderful job for which we are very
grateful.
We have purchased most of the beds for the dormitories and when we get settled
in school we will work on those things again.
Today,
I have been busy with the students coming for their paces. We have 7 enrolled so
far.
Deborah
has been a great help with the food bank.
Dorothy
continues to visit the people reading the Bible and praying with them. She took
Janette Martinez to visit her family yesterday and visited the Sales family.
This morning she is taking food to some people for us. She is precious to CFAN.
Darren
is doing well recovering from his snake bite.
Loretta
and her boy friend are in town most of the time with his mother. I don't see
them much. (This is the couple who lived in the tent).
Maggie
has moved to town with her daughter, Bernadine because her house is in such bad
condition.
So
many needs thank God we can meet some of them
Pray
for Rosita and her marriage.
That
we get and approved on our inspections and we can occupy the school building
till the rest is completed.
All
goes well as Insurance Co continues to work out details of the lawsuit.
Ken
Hester and wife Joan come on schedule no later than Sept 17 that their house
sells and everything goes well with them.
We
continue non-stop with the building till everything is completed.
Pray
that our food bank stays full and blessings always flow from Christ For all
Nations.
For
Bro. Bill as he works on the Baptist Church building. These things are so
complicated they move so slow.
For
more help, lots of help
I
thank all of you for your gifts your prayers and your love and
encouragement. Tony
from South Carolina is flying in tomorrow to work on Deborah's roof and spend
time in our prayer room. Praise the Lord.
Maybe
your high school and college graduates would like to come serve the Lord for a
year or a few months. It might help them as they go out to face this world.

September
I
had the newsletter ready to go when the hurricane struck our coastland. I was
glad I had not mailed it so I could add a little to it. I have never felt so
helpless in my life. It is like a member of my family had died. I could hardly
take my eyes off the TV. I prayed and prayed Louisiana is my home state. I, like
many others just wanted to go check on all my family. Praise God they are all
well and fine. To watch all the suffering and hurting people and not be able to
do anything was torture. I did not ask God why all this happened I think we all
know.
A
Philadelphia Christian Organization said; (The hurricane hit two days before the
Southern Decadence festival was to begin) it is a time when homosexuals engage
in all kind of sex acts in the public streets & bars. This would have been
the 34th year. Repent America director said; {New Orleans was a city that opened
her doors wide to the public celebrations of sin.) we all know Mardi Graw had
become a terrible disgrace to Louisiana.
When
it is rebuilt we pray Jesus will be invited in.
1st
Peter I; 10 is a prayer we can all pray for the those who are suffering,
confused and don’t know what to do. (May the GOD of all GRACE who called
us to his eternal Glory by CHRIST JESUS after you have suffered a while prefect,
establish, strengthen, and settle you.)
Our
hearts go out to all of them. We also pray the Christians will reach out and
find all their needs met through our precious Lord. That soon they can say JOY
does come in the morning and feel HIS comfort and peace that passes our
understanding. Millions have opened their doors to help. We hope to hear of many
miracles. For those who do not know the Lord we pray this will be a time when
their life will be changed and they can come into that hope only Children of God
have.
Christmas is just around the corner
Ray
will be making his usual run to pick up your gifts, food and etc. For the
Navajo. He will be in La., Ark., & Tx. Thanksgiving weekend. We are always
so thankful for what you send I know the Navajo really look forward to our
Christmas Service. They feel and experience the love of God. We will probably
have it around the 18th of Dec. Please contact Ray at 1-(214)-438-2950 or Cell
Phone 214-727-6126 e-mail helpinghandsoftexas@hotmail.com
to find day and time he will be in your area.
God
Bless all of you

WHAT A SUMMER !
God has many young warriors
coming forth in His Kingdoms work and I was blessed to have two of them join us
for a time of service this month. They were Addie Graham from Meredith College
in Tennessee & Andrea Saltzman from Campbellsville University in Kentucky I
pray they will return every year and bring others with them .
Dorothy Tewa did something wonderful for me. After 20 years on the reservation.
She recognized our work and bought a sheep cooked a big mouton feast invited
some Navajo and they honored me & gave thanks for Christ for All Nations
with gifts, sweet words and even a money tree that had almost $400.00 on it. It
was a great gift from the Navajo. We will use the money for Navajo
song books and Bibles.
Activation Ministries led by Dave & Dee Dee Thompson from Evergreen Colorado; They are a very special and unique team. They have come for many years to serve God with us. Ministering in homes and Churches. Dave did painting, set up computers they brought.
Getting our new kitchen in
order, keeping the prayer room filled with prayer warriors, the powerful night
services with Dee Dee moving in prophetic song, people being saved set free,
given a new heart and a new hope. They brought many new appliances for our
kitchen. They purchased paint and a painter. They always bring us so many things
and lots of food which helps take us through the summer. Some of us were blessed
with a great foot massage from a professional. Our blue car was repaired. We are
so grateful to all of you & what you did.
A New Life in Jesus
from Nashville Arkansas group came, led by Mary Alice Moore. It is the
20th year of ministering here with us. Mary Alice has a way of breaking down
barriers & bringing things to a head; as she teaches repent turn from your
sins and live a Godly life. They brought our first VBS for the season not just
one but two. They wore me out in a wonderful way. Good Bible teaching, crafts,
fellowship and guitar lessons. The Navajo wanted to
play all night. The ladies never-wanted to stop doing their
crafts. They now have
a prayer pillow with a pocket to put their prayers in. Mary Alice's children
grew up on this mission field. They are like family coming home to the Navajo.
United Methodist Church from
Lyndstrom, Minnesota lead by Jessie Figueroa came. This was another wonderful
group of summer missionaries. Doing so many things. I was in a real need of
prayer and so thankful they were here to lift up my arms and pray with me. They
played endless games of soccer and basketball
with our youth. Then left us some nice soccer balls, net and all. They also
brought us more computers, and helped move Lynn's classroom. They purchased the
material and added a room on Janette Martinez's house and re-roofed it. She is
so happy They left us lot of soccer balls and all the equipment. Our school
children love to play soccer. Our ladies and
men had such fun with their crafts. Some even learned to knit.
Another
lovely team led by Jeff Rawlings came from Illinois from Open Arms Foursquare
Church. It was Bro. Dave from Open Doors Ministry first time to minister
here. We pray it will not be their last. They brought good teaching to our
People and fell in love with them of course. They touched the heart of our
Navajo men. Several came forward in tears of repentance expressing a desire to
live for Jesus. The group repaired the Dome roof painted the stairs and railings
did lots of other things for our ministry. Thank God for those who cooked and
cleaned, which is a hard job and so appreciated.
All this
and we have July and August yet for ministry teams. God is so good. We pray
every seed that is planted will bring forth fruit in abundance.
The
rancher who bought the ranch below us. Stopped me the other day and told me he
is going to try to get our road turned into a county road. Then the county
will keep maintain it. Do pray this happens swiftly so we can have a good
road to go in and out on. Twenty years of prayer. We are seeing God do so many
things.
I am
crying out in prayer to stay in His perfect will. Never have we had the enemy
fighting against us in so many ways. Please
keep me covered it is not easy to keep peace among so great a crowd of people.
The Navajo's have had so many missionaries disappoint them. Pray I never do
that. Pray Christ For All Nations will stand strong as a ministry. That they can
count on our ministry to always be here to help them find their way out of their
darkness. Pray God will send us people that will work with this ministry and not
want to start their own. Oh, that brethren could dwell together in unity as God
has requested.
To those
who have been praying with us about our food bank. We were asked to be a
distributor for a food bank in Farmington and now they are having a hard time
getting food. Every Tuesday people are at our door looking for food. We have had
to turn many away. Thank God we have found another source that will help us
right now. I don't know how long that will last. Pray this lawsuit from the
accident will soon be over. We can try to get a grant or something permanent to
help us supply the Navajo with the food they need in this area.
We are
still praying for help more help with the ministry. We need several people
maintenance, office, and teachers. You do not need a certificate to work here
only love and willingness to serve. Thank all of you who have already sponsored
some children. We thank every donor because you are the reason we can be here.
The Post
Master at Nageezi passed away. As far as anyone knows he was not a Christian.
The family asked Jerry Domingo to conduct his funeral. Then Jerry asked me if I
would do the funeral. I was a hard thing to do. I used Rick Warrens 3 steps,
“Where did we come from? What are we here for? Where are we going?” I was
praying some of family might see their need of The Saviour as I tried to just
lift up Jesus and the great love of our God. The only thing they said about him
was. He was a good giving man who always had a cold beer or drink in his hand.
What a sad memory to leave on this earth.
Keep us in
prayer as we continue our busy schedule.
In
His great Love
Lazzell Powell
This
is a beautiful day, my staff and our academy students have gone on their annual
camping trip to Navajo Lake. This is such fun for the students and
staff. The weather could not be
lovelier. It changed from winter to summer and has been up to 100 degrees for a few days but
today it is 50.
The
mountain snows are melting
fast because of the extreme heat we have had and it is causing lots of flooding.
Since we are located very high flooding usually
doesn't effect us.
MAY'S MISSIONARIES
Lynn
Side Mennonite Church a lovely group from Virginia came and blessed us with many
good things. The Fiesta car now runs. We have a brand new great coffee pot. A
much needed new window in Shalom house. In Fran Roland the rooms all cleaned and
lots of finishing work done.
The ladies worked so hard moving boxes and cleaning and helping us get a
children's room set up. Jeff and Rena are already using it on Tuesday nights. We
sent a list of things we needed to be done and when David saw it he
said what will all the other groups do . We will do
all that.
They
really did get most of it done. (but) Never worry we have another list going and
there is always lots of things to do here. If you all did not come and help us
we would never get things done. How we thank God for every group. This truly is
a mission God has built.
From their church ( Lynn Side Mennonite Church)
They presented us with $6000.00 for our heaters.
Praise The Lord!
Missionaries Continued
Our dear Brian, Marcie,
Caleb, Joshua & Jason (a nephew) came also. Marcie and Caleb got really
sick. So they did not enjoy their visit as much as if they would have been well.
Thank the Lord they were both much better when they departed for home. Marcie
recuperated enough to get all my book work done and even do some cleaning in my
dirty house. Brian bless his heart.
He
was both Mom, Dad and even found time to go and work with all the men. Some days
he looked pretty worn out. I don't think he is one of those who would like to
change places with his wife. Jason was lots of help. He and Caleb did some heavy
work for us. Joshua has grown so much is a very smart little boy.
Marcie's Mom and Dad came bringing good tidings of
good things also. They brought from their
church Liberty Baptist $1000.00 to furnish a room. This now gives us funds for
five rooms. I'm excited about going to get our beds and linens. We want to use a
theme in each room as we decorate. Either countries or states. We hope this
would encourage prayer for that area.
Buddy
and Jan Greer came with their lovely family and with some of mine family. Their
daughter Nikkie is married to my grandson Joey. I have two precious great
grandsons by them.
Jacob
and Chris. Jacob has been here before and Chris has always wanted to come to New
Mexico. It was so good to have al1 of them, and Buddy's other daughter with her
family.
My grandson Joey preached and the children did sign songs. Oh that all of our
children, were serving in the House of The Lord.
My son Ray came bringing a trailer load of things
many for The Fran Roland Building. He brought us a lovely Wurlitzer Piano.
Praise the Lord. We are so blessed.
Ken Graham & Rowena came with their children
from Tennessee. They brought Addie their daughter who just graduated from
college to stay a few weeks and help us here at the mission.
Praise the Lord. We have another young lady who will join us this week coming
from Kentucky. She will also be a summer missionary here at CF AN. Thank God for
these college students who love the Lord so much.
Humanitarian Aid
We have been blessed to have
much food and clothing to give away, but we don't know what has happened to our
supplier. They were anxious for us to be a helping hand to them now we can't get
the food we need. We are turning many away. When the Carpenters came (Marcie's
Mom and Dad) and looked in our pantry they were heart sick. There was no food.
They actually went to Cuba and bought some canned meats so we would have
something to give out. We went to our personal food pantry and gathered much of
our own food. We need your prayers for this. It is a great concern.
Bro. Elmer Brown came to
visit and we gave him lots of clothes. He was in Red Valley at a revival and the
pastor and church there was asking for clothes. Thank God he told them I know
where I can get you some. He was referring to us. We have given his church lots
of things. These are the things we thank God for. When we can meet a need and
that people know we will help.

CHRIST FOR
ALL NATIONS MAY NEWS
Dear Wonderful friends,
My how refreshed and great I
feel after seeing and being with my family and in some powerful meetings. The
Holy Spirit is at work, we can all be sure. The Pastor's meeting at Christ for
The Nations was right on target. The theme was Counsel for These Times. Oh how
we need that.
When
the Kingdom of Saul was changing to The Kingdom of David the men of Issachar
who
had understanding of the times and knew what Israel had to do came on board to
join David's Army. We need Godly Spirit Filled men today who understand the
times to begin to cry out and give Counsel. We do not want to join up with the
wrong army (even the elect will be deceived if it were possible). All Christians
should let their voices be heard concerning the moral issues in our country.
Thank
God for the messengers today encouraging fasting and prayer. I heard a young man
ask the question to the congregation, he said; if a person can not pass a
hamburger place they probably could not resist sex advances flaunted before them
in beautiful packages.
This is a time for the bride
to fast and pray for the bridegroom to come. I'm sure Jesus is rejoicing
in Heaven knowing soon He will be with His bride. Oh that all of us will be
bathing in the Word and the
Oil of The Holy Spirit. His word is sweeter than honey to our lips.
Many Pastors are so stressed
and under attack, sick, discouraged. The devil has come to wear out the saints.
He can never win the battle. I understand percentage wise the divorce rate among
Christians is larger than unbelievers God said from the beginning this was not
so. This is so wrong. Our strength comes from Fasting, Prayer and reading God's
word.
Our power to endure the
things that coming on this earth. Let us pray more and more for one another.
We
must be over comers.
Rev: To him that overcometh
will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a
white stone, and in the stone
a new name written, which no man knoweth saving him who .. recieveth it.
Rev 2: 26 He that over cometh
and keeps my works until the end to him will I give power over the nations.
Rev 3 5: He that overcometh the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the Book of Life but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
Rev 3 :21 To him
thatovercometh will I grant to sit with me on my throne.
How thankful I am for Jeff
and Rena, Paul and Lynn. They just kept eveything going
right along in my absence. We
had two great groups come out and they took good of care of them. Got a lot of
work done around here.
Jeff
and Rena are wonderful workers so willing to do what ever is needed.
We
could not find a more dedicated and committed teacher than Lynn she is special.
Paul continues his work at the church in Cuba and helps us out with the
teachings at Christian Worship Center.
We have and urgent prayer
request concerning some of our churches. It is something I'd rather not share
right now. God knows what it is.
My first morning home, Nina
called about her son Virgil has been diagnosed with cancer. They
have operated but give him
little hope. We had prayer with him yesterday and will believe with him for his
healing as long as he has breath. Believe with us for a miracle he is a young
man in his 20's.
Many of you know Carlos. He came to our door bringing his friend for us to pray
for his knee. It was all swollen from what the Dr's told him before might be a
blood clot. Carlos had witnessed to him about how God had touched and healed him
because of prayer. Carlos persuaded him to come here for prayer. After we led
him to Jesus we prayed for his healing and instructed him to go to the doctor
and bring us back a good report.
Our summer mission groups for a
Great move of God in every area we cover ~
Our Staff
The
Fran Roland building to be finished soon. Laborers and funds. Thank all of you
who have been so faithful to help us with this project. Thank all who have sent
$1000.00 or $500.00 or any amount to help furnish a room. Thank all who have
bought or given us items or furniture and those who send paper goods, food,
office supplies and etc. We pray you will all be able to come one day and see
where your gifts have gone and how they are being used.
I thank God for the quality time I had with my 7
children their spouses, my 14 grandchildren and 9 great
grandchildren. I saw all but one grandson and his wife and child they are to
come visit me in August. I am looking forward to that I found them all well and
blessed.
I also had a wonderful visit
with my half-sister who I met for the first time she is 92 years young and so
alive and alert
May God be with you all
In His Great Love Lazelle
MOTHERS DAY
I pray every Mother in the world could be as blessed as I am with my children. God was doing specialties when he put them all together.

We are at a grown breaking Buddy, Jan, Jeff, Rena and myself. I've never seen a Pastor more excited. Pray for this little church in Kimbeto. Pastor Raymond Sales. Buddy & Jan have ministered in this church for years. The Senior Pastor & his wife cry when they see them. They refer to them as their children. |
Praise
the Lord I don't think we will have to slow down on the building. God is laying
on peoples hearts to help us. My nephew Butch Baker e-mailed that God was laying
on his heart to buy the plumbing fixtures. Then David Kanagy e-mailed he was
collecting money for their out to buy the plumbing fixtures. I have asked David
to by and collect some for the heaters. We need 10 heaters at $550.00 each. That
is a lot of money. But I believe God will send all we need and we can dedicate
the building before September.
He
has done so much for us. I can believe for anything. He is God and nothing is
impossible for Him.
We
have stripped bare a bunkhouse for our youth. The first night was great. Jeff
& Rena are wonderful with them. I told them even if we have to slow down
on-the building
we want to get what they need to work with the
youth. How we pray many of them might find the peace, hope and joy of being a
child of God.
May
the God of The Harvest Bless those of you who have so blessed and stood with us,
with a Great Harvest. May He bless you coming in and going out. May He bless
your home with peace. May He Bless your family with a Complete blessing of
salvation and that every seed receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
Israel
This
was spoken by Hal Lindsey this week on TV:
We
must pray for Israel, Pray for Jerusalem. The Sanhedrin has been reinstated and
they are making plans to rebuild the Temple and reestablish animal sacrifices
They have invited 10.000 Jews to attend a gathering in Jerusalem on April 10th
VERY INTERESTING
Miracles
still happen Jeff talked to a man grading our road. They parked their big
machines by our building and grated the road to the Dome and will do more. They
brought several big loads of gravel and put on our main road in one bad spot
pray it multiply's

What a happy group of people as we all gathered around at Christian Worship Center to fill bags of groceries to take north, south, east and west. Dave & Dee Thompson e-mailed me that they had access to lots of groceries including meats if we could go pick-them up. I did not have anyone on staff available. I went to Rena and Larry and told them what we needed so off to Denver they went with another couple from the church. They had a Van, a truck and large trailer loaded down when they returned. We have given out most all of the food. Everyone helped it has been such a blessing. The food was grade A not commodities. God is so good and to see the Navajo doing this for their people it was a blessing. |
Georgetown Baptist Church
What
a great group of people. We have lot of request for information about CFAN. As
most of you know we have very little on paper to give out. I am so thankful for
the publicity we get from those who come out and tell others about us then they
come out: and that is how our ministry got started and how it keeps going. It is
all a God thing. He advertises for us. That is how Georgetown came. First worked
Randy Carruth came then he came back and brought Joe Louis. Then Joe cames back
and brought Bro. Wade Smith and a group from Georgetown. They were a blessing.
Bro. Wade made a suggestion that I would like to pass on. He said, “Why don't
you ask churches to think about furnishing a room in the new building. The cost
would be about $1000.00.” And he went on to say, “I will furnish the 1st
one.” Praise the Lord. This would include the furniture the linens and most
everything. We will put a plaque in the room bearing your church name or maybe
and individual would do this.
Campbellsville College
This
has got to be one of the greatest colleges we have today. CFAN has been blessed
to have many groups of students
come and they are always a special.
Shawn
brought this group. He is one of our regulars now coming a couple of times a
year. My how they worked Jeff had them going in 20 degree weather cleaning up
all the mess that has been in our yard for ever so long. Some of it from the new
building and some that had accumulated over the years. They could have all
stayed home and relaxed everyday but they chose to come and serve the Lord. How
we thank God for these young people and the teachings they are getting at
Campbellsville KY. Several of these young men are in Spin Four. This is a group
of jugglers. They juggle everything from balls to knives and hammers and are
great. They give a Bible Lesson while they are juggling it is unique. They would
be glad to come to your church.
To
all our groups coming out.
We
have a dear friend who is in the whitewater rafting business. When you bring a
group and if they would like to go Whitewater Rafting before going home. I could
have him send you some information. There are a lot of things to do in NM. This
is one of the better things.
PRAYER REQUEST
Jeff, Renai, Paul, Lynn: & myself health; strength; wisdom, encouragement, everything each of us need to do what God has in His agenda for CF AN and that we might be more effectual for His Kingdom.
That our students become Christian Leaders in their community.
Laborers for this harvest
Someone to drive the van & pick up so we can begin our Tues. night services
Teachers and workers so start our Bible College over again
Fran Roland Building to be finished before September complete with everything inside and the outside landscaped.
Many souls will be saved in 2005

ISAIAH: 35;1 The desert shall rejoice and blossom like a rose.
The drought has ended here and the rains and snows are making their
appearance. We know when spring arrives the beauty of the desert will be seen.
We are praising God even though some are having to park their vehicles on 550
and walk in. Paul's has been out for two days. It has been a long time since our
roads have been this bad.
Our Academy is under the Accelerated Christian Education. They sent
Larry Baker and his son out to speak to some of our ministers and church
leaders. They would love to place Christian schools all over the reservation. We
invited a lot of people but the
weather and road conditions kept many away. We did have a good meeting and now
it will be up to the Navajo if they are willing to start schools in their
communities and churches. I think it is a wonderful way to reach the children
with the Gospel. The curriculum is filled with scriptures and Bible teachings.
Pray with us the Navajo will see the great opportunity being offered to them and
will take advantage of it. We are losing the children to the world. We must do
all we can to bring them out of the nets satan has set for them.
BUSS ACCIDENT
Paul and I met with lawyers. They have told us they will try to settle this suit
out of court. We are to meet again in the middle of March. Pray with us that the
offer will be agreeable and settled on that day. I really felt a peace that God
was and is with us. He will see us through this. It was an accident and not the
missions fault. We work hard to help the Navajo not hurt them. Pray for God to
give us favor. I know He did at the previous meeting. Pray for a miracle.
THE VALENTINE BANQUET at CWC was very nice. The Theme was Amazing Love
was demonstrated and presented in numerous ways as our Saviour was lifted up in
word, deed and song.
